Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC 1681 section 602 states, There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities for fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies and I am the Consumer. I have the right to make sure my private information isnt shared which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which states It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic information. Wells Fargo Bank Card Service is a financial institution by definition under that title. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681a, ( 2 ) Exclusions : ( A ) ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; Reporting Transaction history is illegal. Per 15 USC 1681b Permissible purposes of consumer reports -In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I never gave written instructions authorizing the creditor to send my personal information to any credit bureau. The Creditor did not get my consent to add anything to my consumer report, which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. -P.L . 90-321 ( 82 Stat. 146 ), states that any agency can only get my consumer report in response to a request by the head of a State or local child support enforcement agency ( or a State or local government official authorized by the head of such an agency ). 15 USC 1681 section 604 section 2 states that In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Wells Fargo Bank Card Service is the financial institution and the Consumer reporting agencies XXXX, XXXX and XXXX do not have my consent to furnish this information and they surely do not have my written consent. Any and all consent to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ; Also Wells Fargo Bank Card Service, whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unlessthe consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. Wells Fargo Bank Card Service ; Never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that, 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) states, Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. These accounts are adverse items they are reporting again without my permission which is against the law. 15 USC 1681s 2 ( A ) ( 1 ) states, A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 USC 1681e states Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are not maintaining reasonable procedures. Also 12 CFR 1016.7 states that A consumer may exercise the right to opt out at any time. I am opting out of your reporting services to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement

Consumer Complaint: During our investigation an XXXX employee ( Grant ) reported to us he could see that someone used an " XXXX sounding name '' with the initials XXXX to open up an XXXX XXXX account and use our credit card to purchase items during XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ranging in price from {$120.00} to {$150.00}. He said that Wells Fargo should have been able to see the same information he could see within about ten minutes, or call XXXX to verify that the charges were not correctly authorized and were not made by us. He was surprised that WF had not done that already since we talked to him on XX/XX/XXXX and we had informed WF of the fraud on XX/XX/XXXX and WF had already denied our claims twice : on XX/XX/XXXX ( received XXXX ) and XX/XX/XXXX ( received XX/XX/XXXX ). Overall they charged about {$2400.00} on our card. We reported the fraud as soon as we recognized it, within days, we reviewed our statements going back for other fraud, we filed a police report, we talked with XXXX, we faxed additional information to WF, we set up fraud alerts on the credit agencies and reviewed our credit statements. We did all of this between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In response Well Fargo has sent us the same message : " the charges appear to be valid and authorized by you '' even though we have proven to them ( which is not required by law ) that the charges are obviously invalid and not authorized by us. WF has denied our claim three times that the charges were fraudulent even though : an XXXX employee was able to identify the name used to authorize the charges was not our name and the address used to authorize the charges was not our address ; I have asked WF to provide all of the evidence they have used to say we authorized the charges twice and they have refused to proved that evidence ; WF have not admitted to working with XXXX or XXXX or law enforcement on this issue ; WF has not reported to us the address or name used to authorize the purchase or the exact items purchased or the shipping address the items were shipped to ; the law states that it is WF responsibility to prove that we have authorized the charges but they have refused to do so by choosing to blame their customer and are in violation of the law. Every time I've reported the fraud, Wells Fargo has only responded by letter saying something like " the charges are valid and appear to be authorized by you. '' They provide no rationale or reasoning for that opinion. The facts are those charges are not authorized by us and Wells Fargo has responded to their failure to notice and stop the fraudulent activity by violating the law and stealing from me, a customer of Wells Fargo since XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a loyal customer with Wells Fargo for approximately 9 years and the way that I have been treated these past XXXX weeks, in the midst of the holiday season - has been the worst experience I've ever endured by a banking institution. On XX/XX/XXXX an email was sent notifying me that my online banking was completely restricted/shut down by Wells Fargo because an individual by the name of XXXX XXXX claimed that the two XXXX transactions for {$500.00} and {$300.00} he sent me on XX/XX/XXXX was fraudulent. Wells Fargo did not call me, nor did they request any type of proof before shutting my online access down. I had to take the initiative to call and find out what was going on and that's when I was made aware that a fraud claim was made against me. I had to call ceaselessly after that to try and get information on how I could rectify the situation - before a representative would even give me a fax number where I could send proof that the transaction was indeed valid. I was told that it would take up to 10 business days for an investigation, but three days later Wells Fargo decided to completely close all of my accounts, block me from accessing my funds and stopping all of my automatic recurring payments which includes my two car payments, car insurance, utilities, five credit cards, loan payments and an upcoming direct deposit from my job ( which has been this way for the past 5 years ). This is all being done with absolutely no viable proof that I committed any fraudulent activity on my account! If {$800.00} was in question, why did Wells Fargo freeze all of my money and accounts and not just the {$800.00} until the investigation is complete? Why was my online banking completely shut down, and not just XXXX? Seeing as I have multiple accounts and only my checking account is being investigated- why was my savings account and my daughter 's account that was linked to me also impacted? Do you know how embarrassing it is for a XXXX child, to enter the store XXXX shopping for her friends and family, only to be declined at the register knowing that she had sufficient funds in her account? Seeing as I had absolutely no funds to cover all of the upcoming payments that would bounce, provide grocery in the house, pay my utilities, buy gifts for family and friends, reimburse my daughter, etc... Wells Fargo 's lost prevention team authorized {$3000.00} to be released to me on XX/XX/XXXX from my Savings account ( which should have never been frozen to begin with ). On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from the hospital due to a scheduled upcoming XXXX I have on XX/XX/XXXX that I would need to pay my deductible prior to the procedure. I went back to Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX to try and have funds released from my Checking account ( the one in question ) and Lost Prevention denied the release stating that they already gave me {$3000.00}. I reiterated that the additional funds I'm requesting is for my upcoming XXXX, and that the Hospital needed the deductible payment by the XXXX - and the rep advised that I reschedule my XXXX. They had no compassion or understanding for my situation. I waited 4 months for the XXXX, and for that Tier 2 representative to tell me I needed to change my XXXX date- was beyond disrespectful and distasteful. They don't know if this is a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, nor the extent of what I'm going through. To freeze all of my funds, more than the amount in question should be illegal. Every representative has a different story, and no one has been willing to assist me. I'm just being told to wait 10 business days from XX/XX/XXXX - but what am I waiting on when I've received emails and spoken to Lost Prevention who advised that my accounts will be closed indefinitely. There is no thorough investigation being done. It seems like anyone can call their bank and ruin someone's life with false claims. This institution is not being rationale, nor are they taking into account my long standing relationship and stature with them. I have provided and still am willing to provide all documents showing that XXXX XXXX did indeed XXXX me two separate transactions on XX/XX/XXXX. I have faxed Online Fraud Claim four times, and no one in that department after calling daily for an update -can simply advise if they received the fax. This is the first time that I can say I am truly disappointed in this bank. To make matters worse, when I went into the branch, the branch manager contacted the Executive branch to file a complaint seeing as I had the proof with me, and they are now questioning the amount of XXXX transactions I have ( XXXX birthdays in the past 3 months, coworkers XXXX for food, family sending money, friends, and I also have a XXXX XXXX ( which account - Wells also closed ). XXXX is literally the method of money transfer for most people. It seems that at this point, they are looking for every reason to shut me down. The way I've been made to be a villain without even seeking my side is very disheartening. I would like for someone who actually values me as a loyal customer, with no prior incidents on any of my accounts to please look into this matter and resolve it. I am completely without my hard earned funds. I have not been able to sleep, or function since XX/XX/XXXX. I am stressed and truly devastated with what is happening to me, and it's really taking a toll on me emotionally. I have placed more XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX having to drive to the bank daily to try and fax paperwork over to the Online Fraud Claim department. No one is willing to help, nor give me answers on how I can regain my accounts. I did absolutely nothing wrong, and I am being accused because if hearsay. Three accounts completely blocked and shut down because of an individuals false claim? Lying to a federal insured bank should be a crime! Yet I am the one fighting to clear my name, accounts status, XXXX token, and the future relationship with Wells Fargo when there is more than sufficient proof to show the XXXX payment I received were legit.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday XXXX between XXXX and XXXX, I went to deposit XXXX dollars in cash of XXXX in my acount with Wellsfargo bank. The ATM jammed on me. I called the bank personnel and they wtinessed my predicament. After a while they removed the jam and the machine continued to work BUT they did not give me the money. Instead they told me to call the Claims department. I was taken in circles to XXXX different people. They told me it will take XXXX business days to respond to me. Today XX/XX/2023, I went to the branch and nothing has been done. My account is in overfdraft status and can not even buy anything with my card. My due a person came in today when I was at the branch to repair the same machine because it continues to malfunction. Why would consumers be subjected to unfair ordeal at this time of the year just because of the bank dysfunctionality. I need your intervention. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Approximately for 3 years, Wells Fargo has been notifying me by text via my gmail account about fraud charges, overdrafts and miscellaneous notifications. The problem is that it is not my debit card. Most recent notification was XX/XX/XXXX about 3 transactions either fraud or approved. All for debit card ending in XXXX. Previous Fraud notification XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and so on. I deleted the rest. When I call they want the whole debit card number but I don't have it. My gmail account is XXXX. I do have accounts with Wells Fargo but not this one. They do have my text information correct on my accounts. XXXX. I keep the gmail account for my phone. FYI : there is another XXXX XXXX in Minnesota that I know of but don't know. I want these notifications corrected as it is disturbing. As stated previously, I have called repeatedly and have actually went in person to the bank. Always told for security reasons, they can't help me because I don't have the full debit number.

Consumer Complaint: Between the date of XXXX while trying to obtain a modification from the America Servicing Company ( by Wells Fargo ) that was servicing my loan I paid approximate XXXX for each of the eight modification program I was denied which was over the amount of my mortgage note annually. I believe Wells Fargo received my account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX fraudulently and used my account information to open a new account number under their company. I would like to request an independent audit of the origination and servicing of my mortgage account and legalization of how they obtain it and receive what violations were committed against me of any laws that were broken that led Wells Fargo of wrongfully foreclosing on my property.
