I did not authorize this and called bank immediately telling them this. Bank is saying that there was no money to recover from the other end so they will not return my money. I don't understand why this is since my money should've been insured. I have filed a case with the XXXX XXXX Department and charges have been filed, but no one has been apprehended.

Consumer Complaint: We had a check stolen from the mail in the amount of {$5600.00} that was withdrawn fraudulently from our account with Wells Fargo in July 0f 2023. It was immediately reported to Wells Fargo. We provided an affidavit of check fraud from us and the business that did not receive the funds in XXXX of 2023 as well. XXXX months later Wells Fargo claims to be waiting on reimbursement from XXXX Bank, who allowed the check to be fraudulently cashed. Despite being a customer for many years, Wells Fargo continues to do NOTHING to advocate our money being returned. They tell me it is not their problem.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I had a transaction for check number XXXX I wrote In the amount of XXXX for rent payment on the 3rd post to my account, I had funds in my Wells Fargo savings that Id transferred in the amount of {$1100.00} to cover the check transaction at the time through my Wells Fargo app which it had posted immediately on XX/XX/XXXX. Another transaction for {$85.00} my XXXX account payment then posted to the account on this day XX/XX/XXXXXXXX in which I deposited {$100.00} cash into the ATM to cover the transaction. I also noticed a credit reversal for a claim i had submitted on XX/XX/XXXX posted to the account in the amount of {$150.00} in conjunction with this. I then called Wells Fargo at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and had to resubmit the claim due to missing information they needed and the claim was reopened fir that amount. At the end of the day after my ATM deposit I had a negative balance according to my receipt received of ( {$130.00} ). In accordance to Wells Fargos banking policies I would have until end of day on XX/XX/XXXX to subside the balance due to the grace period policy the bank has put in place for customers. This is not the case today XX/XX/XXXX I woke up to check my account and saw that the check of {$1100.00} posted XX/XX/XXXX that Id transferred funds specifically for in the amount of {$1100.00} between my checking and savings had been kicked back out of the account and I was assessed a fee on a transaction rather that was posted days before and where money was transferred to cover the transaction at the time. I have receipts between time to show that I had a positive or even balance as well. There was no reason an overdraft fund should have been assessed in this particular transaction besides that Wells Fargos technology severely lacks in real time causing real issues for long time customers like myself. Furthermore the facts with the check being kicked out and Wells Fargo not adhering to their own policy with the extra day grace period giving me until end of day today to overcome and negative issue in my checking of the leftover balance of the ( {$130.00} ) poses an even bigger issue and by not following their own policies generates concerns of federal laws not being adhered to by the bank ur further more has caused me the stress and XXXX of the check being returned to my landlord not only which will cause the trickle down of receiving a 5 day notice of eviction to pay it quit but also fees associated with the returned check and administrative costs to the landlord that will be applied to my account. This is not ok! I have made several complaints about similar issues with Wells Fargo that cause a trickle down of issues and stress and XXXX for its consumers where nothing is done and loyal people like myself who have been with the company and also have relations with other banking institutions with no issues and dont see the same problem exist, go unheard or hear the excuses the customer service representatives have to apply as a cover where the underlying issues continue to get overlooked and continue to cause ongoing problems and stress for the consumers!!!

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX during economic down turn I applied for a hamp modification with Wells Fargo ( I was not aware that only government mortgages can get hamp i bad a conventional. Wells fargo did not share this information because it was set up that every application they received they get XXXX $ ) i was put in forbearance but continued to pay Because i didn't want to lose my house. I was told when I paid over the phone the money was put into a suspece account. They would not let me apply for the modification until I was working. XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I started applying for the Hamp modification. I was told to fax the application. I was also told to call 2 weeks later to see if my application was received. Why 2 weeks to process an application? I would call and every time I would call i was told there was always a document missing ( remember they got XXXX $ for every application ) about XX/XX/XXXXXXXX i received an email from XXXX XXXX my underwriter that someone got into my file and moved my file out of review but she will try and get it back in. I received another email that she was able to get out back in review and I was approved not for a hamp modification but a wells fargo in house modification that was more then my original mortgage. I accepted because I now had a job I am an XXXX. They added over XXXX to the original. Mortgage my payments made to the suspece account were no where and no one would help me. I received my documents mid XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and we had the documents signed and notarized and sent documents to wells fargo. My modification was to start XX/XX/XXXX. I was told there would be no mortgage statement and that I would pay the mortgage over the phone. I paid 5 months over the phone. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. About XX/XX/XXXXXXXX the bp oil spill occurred. I was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX florida at XXXX XXXX the time. Tourism basically shut down on the XXXX XXXXt of Florida and all XXXX states. The census at XXXX constantly went down weekly. I want full time. So when the census was low I was asked to stay home. Over the summer if XXXX i lost 1/2 my salary. Thai modification with it being more then the original mortgage was getting very difficult to pay. So I called wells fargo about XX/XX/XXXX. Told them the issues I was told that inorder to apply for the hamp modification i had to be behind in payments. WHAT. I DON'T WANT TO BE BEHIND. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY HOUSE!!! They told me I had to be 90 days late in order to apply for the hamp modification ( find out later on the movie the big short the banks bought insurance policies called shorts. If they can get people to stop paying their mortgages thru can collect on these shorts. They also get paid the PMI insurance as well. The perfect crime ) after taking to every supervisor and crying i complied. They are my bank and hold my mortgage. So in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I applied. Sent my application XXXX XXXX this time. Called wells fargo with a hope counselor set up by Obama. Wells fargo had all my documents in order for approval. 2 weeks later mid XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I receive a phone call from my underwriter that someone got into hey computer on her day off and moved my file out of review ( sounds familiar ) but she was unable to get it back in. That i would have to reapply. So mid XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I receive my new application. It was due XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I send it XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I waited 2 weeks XX/XX/XXXX to see if they received it. They tell me no. It was not received. I called XXXX to find out what's going on. O find the tracking # I find the supervisor of the delivery person XXXX XXXX. I said you need to help me please. Wells fargo states they didn't receive my package. So she said she would call. Well she calls me back and says no one answered she couldn't help me any more. I call wells fargo and explain this and then I am told they received some documentation but not all that I have to resubmit my application. I told them not until they find my XXXX sent personal information. I was waiting for a call back then mid XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I received documentation from a foreclosure lawyer. So apparently I was dual tracked from XXXX 1st modification. Foreclosures were taking 2 to 3 years because of volume. XX/XX/XXXXXXXX we were served. I already had a lawyer so by XX/XX/XXXXXXXX we had signed the documents By XX/XX/XXXXXXXX my case was dismissed because wells fargo did not produce any discovery. In XX/XX/XXXXXXXX we were served again. Again no discovery produced. Wells fargo made me and my husband do a deposition and XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX took over. Offered us a predatory modification after paying 3 trial payments. So they continued the foreclosure trial SET? FOR XX/XX/XXXXXXXX but XXXX admitted to not having original documents and received a continuance from the judge. XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX started calling me. New trial set for XX/XX/XXXX. I needed a new lawyer. That lawyer never sent a discovery letter and the night before trial XX/XX/XXXXXXXX i had no choice to settle or pay the lawyer XXXX to go to trial in which there was no discovery. Closed on my house XX/XX/XXXX. Had to buy the only affordable home in the area which was a mobile home in bad condition We had to renovate. And weeks fargo continued to send me mortgage modification applications in which they eye going i would send. Since they got XXXX $ for everyone sent. But everytime i put in a complaint to the cfpb they send me a full package of all the modification applications they sent me. What I want is monetary compensation for what was done To me. I am a florida XXXX of 37 years the most ethical of all professionals. Wells fargo already sent me a letter admitted to wrong doing during my modification application proccess Thank you

They should answer why the XXXX account can be set up by a hacker and transfer my savings account money to a brokerage account. The suspect additional phone number in the opened XXXX profile was listed in this profile. Why that is not important for Wells Fargo? Once a hacker accesses the Wells Fargo Bank system to set up a XXXX account under my name, what kind of security protection to notify the account owner? Supplied XXXX evidence from the Wells Fargo Bank, is different than my internet provider, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Also, the Bank showed evidence that XXXX addresses were different at different times. Both XXXX addresses are different than XXXX XXXX XXXX. It needs to clarify which XXXX attacked my account, and why either XXXX is different than my current provider 's XXXX.

An XXXX calling himself XXXX XXXX who answered my complaint here tried to mislead me to believe that the ENTERPRISE COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT is in fact Wells Fargo. this statement is wrong and contradicts what Wells Fargo told me. This XXXX stated that many XXXX are trying to contact me by phone, that statement is an admission from this XXXX that Wells Fargo are still violating my privacy rights and my civil rights till now. when I requested in writing in more than XXXX complaints that I do not accept phone calls from Wells Fargo employees, all communication must be in writing because in my experience the Wells Fargo 's employees do not tell the truth. This is the main issue that I have been complaining about and never been solved because those people labeled XXXX similar to XXXX XXXX are closing my complaints without providing a solution, even after more than XXXX written complaint and more than XXXX phone complaints. Wells Fargo are still violating my privacy rights. Wells Fargo has no more a Customer service department. For 3 years now, Wells Fargo is been violating my privacy rights and my civil rights by not following the rules and regulations and my account mailing preference and abusing the information that I provided to Wells Fargo and they are constantly trying to contact me by phone to my resident and my work when I requested them not to do so. For 3 years now, Wells Fargo is been insisting on refusing to use my mailing address as indicating on my account and insisting on directing their mail to my resident which i requested them NOT TO DO SO. I have been a Wells Fargo customer for more than 38 years and in all the last XXXX years my mailing address was my XXXX XXXX and everything was going fine until 3 years ago when Wells Fargo hired a new CEO. who 3 years ago, contracted the customer service to a 3rd party contractor called ENTERPRISE COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT who hired the ECMOs who seems to be doing their best to destroy Wells Fargo and moving it fast to bankruptcy. I am complaining here because I was denied the right reach a Real Wells Fargo manager. The answers I have been received here are nothing more than a copy and paste similar to all the XXXX answers .because they are not under any supervision and not under the Wells Fargo management. for that I am re-filing my case.
