Consumer Complaint: I had an account with US Bank XXXX XXXX, which allows me to redeem points into airline travel credit. On XX/XX/XXXX, I redeemed a flight with my daughter for a college visit with my points from XXXX to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a travel confirmation ( see attached ). Later in XXXX, I closed my credit card account. Five days before the trip, I received a call from the credit card 's travel agency, stating that the trip was overbooked and was not able to be ticketed. They asked me to call them back to rebook. When I called them back, they said that they could not do anything until they can verify the credit card, and transferred me over to the credit card department. The credit card department of US Bank then told me that the account was closed, but they would talk with the Travel Rewards department to help me. The credit card department then informed me that the Travel Rewards department could not do anything and the trip would be forfeited, even though they were the ones that called me to inform me that the committed trip could not be ticketed. Essentially, they sent me an email confirmation of the ticket booking, but did not actually book the ticket. Then when the ticket could not be booked five days before the travel was to occur, they cancelled my trip and refused to give me credit for the redemption. Each department, within the same company, used the other as the scapegoat. The reference number for the call with US Bank is XXXX. Now I have lost the value of the two tickets from XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX, and will have to purchase two tickets with 3 days notice, which I'm sure will be very expensive. I'd like US Bank to at least refund me the value of these new tickets, or at least the value of the original tickets, which were about {$250.00} each.

Consumer Complaint: This is one of many complaints I have submitted regarding USBank 's business practice toward consumers. I as a consumer am requesting this complaint be reviewed thoroughly as possible " DISCRIMINATION ''. From a previous complaint submitted to you when I was sent papers regarding a Refy for my current Loan and was told I could chose the Title Company along with the workout as to what my monthly payment would be. Well, when I spoke to Loan Officer did not provide me an explanation as to why the Refy was not going through. Well in following up on the Complaint that was submitted. I was provided a number to contact USBank to obtain the response they provided you. In reviewing the response to you, USBank did not tell the truth. I never asked for ''CASH OUT '' and not at any time did the Loan Officer give me an explanation as to why we could not forward on the refy. I have also tried reaching out to the Customer Advocacy Specialist, but as of today, have not been emailed back or received a call back. As a consumer I feel as a " XXXX '' I AM BEING MUTILATED

This process has taken over XXXX weeks now for an emergency program that doesn't seem right. US bank served papers on XX/XX/XXXX for foreclosure and when I called them I was confused because I was in loan modification process along with the HAF application. Consumer Complaint: I was given false information by US Bank representatives for a Mortgage Modification program and because of that information I now have late payments on my credit report. I have written out a detail explanation of my account. In XXXX of XXXX, I applied for Mortgage assistance through US Bank, the bank that holds my mortgage. At the time all I wanted was a 1-month deferment to provide some relief from my monthly expenses. That month I was not doing well with my business and had some unexpected expenses come up. At that time, when I applied for the Mortgage assistance, I was not behind on my mortgage and was still within the 30-day period. I was notified that I was approved for loan modification. The terms where my monthly payment would get lowered to {$660.00} and the first payment was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. Again, at this time I was still within the XXXX payment period and was not behind on my payments. To confirm the information, I received in the mail, I decided to call US Bank. This is all still in XXXX of XXXX. I spoke with 2 representatives from US Bank. I asked them specifically, according to the loan modification my first payment is not due until XXXX XXXX. Does that mean I don't have to make a payment until then? And if I don't have to make a payment will this go as a negative on my report? Both US Bank representatives stated that I do not have to make until XXXX and that the missed payments will not be a negative on your report. Based off the information I received from US Bank I decided not to make my XXXX and XXXX payment as I was told it would not be a negative mark on my credit report and the first payment of the Loan Modification program was XX/XX/XXXX. Once XX/XX/XXXX, came, I made my first payment for the loan modification program, on time. After that I received a credit report notification that I was 30 days late on my Mortgage payment. I immediately called US Bank to get this corrected as I was told it would not affect my credit. When I talked to the US Bank representative, she confirmed what the other 2 representatives said, that I should not have a negative late payment on my credit report. And was told they would submit a report to to the credit department to correct the error. I was told it would take 30 days to update. Later in XXXX I received a letter stating that the late payment would be suppress. XXXX and I made my payment within the 30-day period. My credit report updated to show that I am now 60 days past due. I once again called US bank to complain. The US bank representative told me once again that I should not show any late payments and that she would input another dispute to their credit department to update and correct the issue on my credit report. I was once again told that this would be corrected in 30 days. After that call I received a call from US Bank stating they had important information about my account, I missed the original call, but called them back. This is still in XXXX. When I call them back, I once again brought up the late payments that were showing up on my credit report. This time the US Bank Representative told me that this was not true, and the loan modification does offer any credit report protections. And that the previous representatives gave me false information. I asked her could they update my credit report because I received false information and based my decision on moving forward with the loan modification off the information US Bank representatives gave me. She said I could not. I proceeded to ask to speak to the Manager and was connected to her supervisor. I explained the situation to her, and she confirmed because they have recordings and notes from all my previous calls. The Supervisor for US Bank told me there was nothing she could do even though she admitted that I was given false information, they refuse to correct the information on my credit report. The only thing she said she would do is have the representatives I spoke with go through more training. That does not help me. I was following the instructions US Bank gave me and if I had of known that this would affect my credit report would have not accepted the modification and made my payments as normal. Again, US Bank also has notes and recordings of all the phone calls I made trying to do my due diligence on this option that is supposed to help consumer not hurt them. I am a small business owner, and my credit report is very important to me, as I need it to get credit and loans for my business. This has really hurt me because these negative marks are keeping me from getting any type of assistance for my business. I have made all the loan modification payments on time so I do not understand why they will not correct my credit report. Moreover, the loan modification letter does not state anything about this program hurting or affecting my credit in a negative way. And if I would have known it, I would have not agreed to this program. I have attach letters, I received from US Bank and a screen shot showing I have made all the payments with the Loan Modification program.

Consumer Complaint: I have tried to fix this with US Bank 4 times now! I report the error, they remove it and put it right back on!! Last year because of Covid I was unemployed for almost 2 years. I requested and received a 6 month extension. After 6 months my employer closed permanently, so I still was not working and to prove it to US Bank that I wasnt even on unemployment I offered to send them documentation WHICH THEY REFUSED. Yet they also denied my request for an additional 6 month extension even though it was illegal to do so! I then went to a Supervisor to demand my rights for an additional extension and for the credit law be followed and even though they said they were giving me the additional extension and did not contact me for payment for the next six months THEY REPORTED OT TO MY CREDIT. This violates the law during Covid and this was documented with them! I offered them paper documentation! And now although my lease is completely paid off and they actually owe me over {$1000.00} refund they are reporting me in arrears! I WANT THIS CORRECT IMMEDIATELY! Their service is deplorable and their account keeping is even worse!! I actually think they do this on purpose because they are a substandard lender and they are taking advantage of the people they loan to. Any investigation I am eligible to have them investigated through or any legal action against them I am eligible for I would like to be notified of. This will now be the 5th time I have told US Bank that this is incorrect and the 5th time that I have filed a formal complaint and the 5th time they have ignored the law. There are literally thousands & thousands of people having the same problem with U.S. Bank on the internet!!! I would like this corrected or I would like to know my to legal action! Why are you allowing them to break the law?
