Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I submitted a dispute against Regional Acceptance Corp. On XX/XX/2022 Regional Acceptance Corp. stated that the account information disputed meets the requirements of the FCRA . Regional Acceptance Corp, illegally reported my information to unaffiliated third parties without giving me any disclosures. Pursuant 15 USC Sec 6802 Regional Acceptance Corp. is required by federal law to give me three disclosures, I have not received documents containing the required disclosures pursuant 15 U.S.C Sec. 6802 ( b ). Regional Acceptance Corp., is in violation of many other federal consumer laws. I did not give Regional Acceptance Corp. permissible purpose under 15 U.S.C Sec. 1681b ( 2 ) to furnish this information on my credit report. Without my written consent Regional Acceptance Corp. is committing aggravated identity theft pursuant 15 U.S.C Sec. 1681a ( q ) ( 3 ). As a federally protected consumer, I know that my consumer report shall not include a report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report pursuant to 15 U.S.C Sec. 1681a ( 2 ) ( i ). If the consumer report does not include transactions or experience, this account should not be on my consumer report. If Regional Acceptance Corp. continues to report this account to my consumer report, they will be held criminally liable for aggravated identity theft pursuant to 18 U.S.C Sec 1028a and extortion. This is my final attempt to have this matter rectified before pursuing legal matters. If Regional Acceptance Corp, would like to continue committing fraud and unlawful criminal activities, this matter can be further discussed in federal court where I will file for litigation for actual damages caused by Regional Acceptance Corp in pursuant to 15 U.S.C Sec 1640.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I was scammed by a person named XXXX XXXX at XXXX. I was under extreme distress when he called and fell into his trap.He told me that he was from social security and that my card was used in human trafficking and the selling of drugs. He kept telling me not to hang up or that I would be arrested. My daughter has XXXX XXXX so I was afraid that this would happen. He told me to tell my bank that the money was being sent for remodeling. Yes, my bank did tell me that if I agree to send it they can not get it back. Nevertheless I agreed to send it. The banks name was Truist bank bank id # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ga XXXX. The recipient name is XXXX XXXX XXXX Account number XXXX located at XXXX XXXX, XXXX Ga XXXX I called XXXX XXXX XXXX to report the scam on the same day I authorized the wire transfer and told them to hold the money and to contact Truist immediately to tell them to send the funds back. I gave Truist the FTC # XXXX, the police report and I filed an IC3. The amount was huge. Truist will not send back my money. How do I get my money back? I did everything right. In fact Truist from XXXX called me to tell me to contact my bank. I did that and was told that funds were put on hold. Later I learned that my private information was hacked at work, possible connection? I just want my money back

Consumer Complaint: Excessive fees that are abusive and outrageously expensive. Basically worse now than a payday loan that just results in bank making more money on more fees. On XX/XX/XXXX I had a positive balance yet on XXXX XXXX a fee was charged for item not showing pending that was not on debit card? I also complained of XXXX payment I didnt authorize in XXXX that later was credited XXXX XXXX your company still didnt respond or credit the overdraft fee. This is without question excessive to charge XXXX in XXXX alone with 23 overdraft fees! Thats more than some peoples Rent or mortgages. We have paid over {$2200.00} in fees since XXXX which is more than outrageous!! I have called and emailed only to be told the bank can not waive fees fee for the even even though our direct deposit will cover in a few days and they will not necessarily pay more than 3 a day and not charge a fee and can wait for a return thrn charge fees and charge fees on the small amounts and return utilities and important bills at there choosing and pay them later and charge 3 more fees if they choose.so when I ask about the 3 fees a day limit they say it really doesnt mean anything. Omg

Consumer Complaint: XXXX : Truist Bank delaying release of escrow funds as well as overpayment of final mortgage payment. Truist Bank customer service & Loan Processing full of promises, excuses, and non-responses. Almost two ( 2 ) months and refund check not received. Original refund check ( if mailed ) still not received after six+ weeks. See attachments. Escrow refund check mailed to the address of the house which we sold which is obviously wrong. I verbally tried to change the address to where we live now because once a Truist loan is paid-off I could not change the address electronically. I talked to customer service XX/XX/XXXX following Truist 's webpage direction, but now am being told Truist did not update to the correct date until XX/XX/XXXX. Truist employees are not following up as promised when they said they would help me resolve this. I offered reasonable options before I filed this complaint. I made an overpayment to protect my credit report of one mortgage payment. That was included in my " escrow refund check ''. I don't believe a mortgage overpayment is not normally part of escrow. I understand the time allowed for a bank to process an escrow refund check is 20 days- is putting the 'wrong address ' and means to slow the process down? From direct experience, banks earn interest on 'overnight funds'/loans to other banks.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22 I got a notification on XXXX XXXX that credit card with Truist ( formerly SunTrust ) that reporting past due. I have not used the card in over 7 months. On XX/XX/22 I called Truist, after holding and being transferred to different departments for almost an hour I filed a Fraud claim as I never made the {$17.00} purchase. I expected that the open Delinquency would be removed but I was told that it would take up to 30days as they investigate. I advised them that I am closing on a house in less than 30days and that it needs to be removed. I was transferred to a manager ( fraud dept ) whom was very rude and short with me. I advised that this could have been prevented had I received proper notice of the account balance / status via mailed statement / email / text / call, but I didnt receive anything notifying me. He claimed that they have been sending statements, I advised him that They Didnt even have my correct address updated. On XX/XX/22 I called to update my address, when I called XX/XX/22 they still had my prior address on file. I also mentioned that I have been mail forwarding ever since and have not received any information about my account owing a balance or being past due. He said that he can transfer me to the credit card dept and maybe they can better assist. Then I waited 35 more minutes and was transferred 2 more times ( was on the phone 1 hours & 58 minutes total ) I was transfer to XXXX credit card dept but was told they can not help and I was transferred to XXXX dept, they advised the same. That they can not help me and I would have to wait up to 30days, said maybe Fraud just didnt want to deal with it as Credit Card dept can not help either. I mentioned that this could affect my personal life / ability to close on my home as this information is incorrect and the transaction is fraud. I have never in my life been late on a single account and now this could prevent me from closing up n my new home. I need this resolved.

Which is the number with truist to file a claim. That same same day I went to the local bank spoke XXXX XXXX to help me with this claim. I received a claim confirmation number. That I was informed that they would have to mail me paperwork to fill out and I would have to get notarized signature with detail information regarding my claim. On XX/XX/XXXX I received email that they did not find an error that occurred. This is not acceptable.. at any circumstances did I sign up or approve any XXXX exchange thru my account.
