Consumer Complaint: I am a Rep payee and when I want to set up the account for my godson and myself, I was tool through the employee at Truist bank in XXXX, Pennsylvania, that no money would go through if it would take my balance past zero or if I had a zero balance, nothing would go through. I even confirmed this with her before I left. Well, $ XXXX laterout of my pocketto cover their charges for money that were never to go through. It took days for checks to go out, so I canceled them through the app-example : Name : None, Amount XXXX et al because there was no way to delete them. Not only did the checks go out, they went out every month!!!! How? I dont understand how they could do that!! When I first requested her to cancel these checks on her end, she told me that she couldnt. I had to close this account and open one elsewhere with no problems whatsoever. I am still out over {$400.00}! They started ignoring my requests and letters when I still was banking with them.

Consumer Complaint: Regarding Complaint - XXXX - We received a notification that this complaint was closed. It appears that " as always '' that the CFPB is going off of what Truist is telling you and you are NOT doing an investigation for yourself. I think that if someone would do an investigation that they would find that we are right and Truist hasn't. They are just trying to pass the buck with their 'obligatory letters ''. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!!!! I thought that the government and state agencies were to protect the citizens. It appears that either these government / state agencies are just there to pass papers and protect BIG CORP like Truist that are not taking responsibilities for their actions and are basically scamming people. ( If you don't believe me, take a look at SOCIAL MEDIA ... .. this one, in particular ... ... XXXX XXXX XXXX I would like a further, more detailed investigation from your organization regarding our issue. You will find that we have a case against Truist. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: I had a home improvement loan with Service Finance opened in XX/XX/XXXX. The loan was for solar panels that never worked. The installing company went out of business shortly after the panels were installed. I ran into some financial difficulties and missed two payments. My last payment was XX/XX/XXXX. I missed payments in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. My account was reported as charged off by Service Finance in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I paid the loan off in full. My account was listed with the credit bureaus as charged off. When I paid the full amount I owed of {$14000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX the status was not updated to reflect it was paid in full. It does show a XXXX balance but still has charge off as the status. I have called Service Finance several times in an attempt to get the account status updated. Each representative I speak to tells me it is not possible to update the status. I am currently trying to purchase a home and the status of this account, since it is a home improvement loan is preventing me from qualifying for the mortgage. I do not expect the late payments to be erased, but the refusal of Service Finance to update this account is causing my family undue harm.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have been trying to get a SECURED CREDIT CARD for a while now. I first tried to get one from my Bank and they sent me a denial and a credit consumer report saying would have to call them to figure out why. I called them and sat on the phone to be told to email them. the email stated i had a XXXX XXXX debt to income. I tried signing up for XXXX and they said i couldn't sign up for security reasons. and finally XXXX XXXX says my records are not listed in the credit bureau. I have never had a Credit card before to build debt or credit and i dont owe anything to anybody and i dont receive any bills for stuff i didn't pay.Any help with this would be appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed on my Truist online bank statement that XXXX was charging {$320.00} on my checking account. I called them to cancel that charge. I spoke with XXXX XXXX who claimed to be a Senior official of XXXX ( XXXX ). He directed me to type in that amount which I did. Somehow that number was changed to {$130000.00}. He said it was approved and showed me on my online account that amount had been credited therein. He said that was an error and XXXX had to be reimbursed by doing 3 separate wire transfer charges. He sent me the needed information on my printer which included charges as follows : XXXX. XXXX {$49000.00} to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX {$49000.00} to a XXXX Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ky XXXX. XXXX {$35000.00} to a XXXX XXXX Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Senior Bank, Truist XXXX me that this appear to be a fraud. I called the Truist fraud line & they confirmed that no such transfer had been credited to my checking account. I notified XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. and gave him copies of the wire transfers. He assigned a case no. ( XXXX ). I also contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I reported this incident to the Florida Attorney XXXX XXXX. Representative XXXX XXXX prepared a complete report and forward all the info the FBI. I am an A-typical XXXX yr old senior who needs help. I had seen been called often by the scammer, but refused to answer

THE MODIFICATION CAUSED THE SUM OF {$30000.00} TO BE ADDED TO THE PRINCIPAL OF MY MORTGAGE WITH INTEREST. WE DID NOT SIGN THIS DOCUMENT BACK IN XXXX I DID NOT REQUEST FOR A MODIFICATION. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a text from SunTrust Bank stating my debit card was locked due to suspicious activityI called right away to find out why my card was locked. I informed the representative that I have not used my debit card since late XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I was asked about transaction form XXXX starting XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. The total amount stolen from my account was {$14000.00}. I received a letter from SunTrust Bank now Truist Bank Fraud Assistance Center on XX/XX/XXXX asking me to assist in the investigation of unauthorized charges by completing their Affidavit of Fraud. Per their request, on XX/XX/XXXX I returned via email the completed Affidavit of Fraud hoping SunTrust ( Truist ) would restore any funds fraudulently removed from my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter of denial of such affidavit because they determined that no error occurred. The letter also indicated I have the right to request a copy of any documents used in their decision of my claim. I called SunTrust ( Truist Bank ) to request the documents and I was told I would receive the documents within 7- 10 days. To date, I have not received requested documentation. Im very disappointed in the way SunTrust ( Truist ) has handled this situation and their lack of satisfactory customer service. SunTrust ( Truist ) refuses to give me ANY documentation about their investigation regarding my account or made any effort to restore any funds taken from my account without my authorization. Instead, they continued to charge my account overdraft fees. I received two letters dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX from Truist to inform me that my account is closed and I need to pay overdraft fess of {$1000.00} plus a {$30.00} charge-off fee. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a letter certified mail to ensure deliverability disputing unauthorized charges and requesting SunTrust ( Truist ) provide me their investigative procedure ( Method of Verification ). On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXX, a package return notice was generated. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent Truist Bank Recovery Department a letter certified mail to ensure deliverability requesting documents used in my previous fraud claim. On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX XXXX. the letter was delivered and the thirty ( 30 ) days to respond with the Method of Verification began. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the 30-day grace period given to respond to my request expired without a response. SunTrust ( Truist ) is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. by not responding within the required timeframe as outlined. On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed an Identity Theft report with the Federal Trade Commission and sent Truist Bank Recovery Department a letter certified mail to ensure deliverability requesting restoration of any unauthorized funds withdrawn from my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXX the letter was delivered and the thirty ( 30 ) days to respond began. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the 30-day grace period given to respond to my request expired without a response. Once again, SunTrust ( Truist ) is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. by not responding within the required timeframe as outline.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX i deposited a check in the amount of {$35000.00} into an account with truist bank that did not belong to me in XXXX, Pa. I did not endorse the check and I verbally advised the cashier of this. The cashier said he was putting it in as a deposit only. I had never met the person who's account I deposited the money. I was advised by a third party the account number, routing number and the name of the account holder. this transaction was to be a down payment for a house in North Carolina. On or around XX/XX/XXXX I got an email from the third party stating the checks were fraudulent per Truist bank. The checks were valid checks from my retirement fund at XXXX. I have contacted XXXX to get my money back. They said they did every thing appropriately and in good faith. I have contacted XXXX and Truist bank many times since XX/XX/XXXX. Truist bank is stating they did not cash the checks and are holding the money and will not release it until XXXX requests. XXXX is stating the checks are cashed and there is nothing they can do. Bottom line I want my {$35000.00} back.

Consumer Complaint: This company reports the as being a charge off and if it has done so and reported to the IRS, I have never received a 1099-C. If this is what happen, then if I am understanding right, they were required to send me this by XX/XX/XXXX of that year. If they did not report to the IRS, then I believe they should have to provide me information on when the last time they show I paid on the account from any credit card or banking account so I can verify with that institution
