Consumer Complaint: I guaranteed a school loan for my daughter XXXX and a lawsuit was brought by National XXXX or their assignee back in XXXX. The matter was settled by a stipulation that was filed on the Court Docket. The total settlement amount was {$12000.00}. The following payments were made : XX/XX/XXXX - {$4400.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$300.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$300.00} XX/XX/XXXX - {$300.00} The matter was stayed due to the pandemic and then, to my understanding the balance of the debt was forgiven. I have heard nothing further from plaintiff 's counsel, as required, in order to enforce. Last week, I received two telephone calls from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) who claims that he is acting on behalf of a third party debt collector, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Today, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX insisting that I owe {$35000.00} and he should arrange for me to call and pay immediately - and should I fail to do so, he will immediately seize my property and XXXX XXXX property. I called XXXX. He demand {$35000.00}. I told him about the stipulation and court case. He claimed that no stipulation exists. I told XXXX that under the 15 USC 1692g he was under an obligation to send me a demand in writing and to afford me the right to validate the debt in writing. He claimed that neither he nor his company have any obligation to follow 15 USC 1692g or any other " silly rule ''. XXXX has committed the following acts of wrongdoing : a ) Misrepresentation that {$35000.00} is due when in fact, no debt exists for that amount. b ) Refusing to recognize the court case ( attached ), the stipulation of settlement ( attached ) and my payments ( attached ). c ) False and Misleading representations as prohibited under 15 USC 1692e. d ) Violation of 15 USC 1692f for threatening to take nonjudicial action to seize my property when in fact, no legal right exists to seize my property.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/ 2022 I received XXXX therapy at a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX office to treat an injury. XXXX billing department improperly coded the bill resulting in my health insurance denying the claims. After bringing attention to this issue, my health insurance resolved the billing code and I waited for an accurate bill to arrive. I had not yet received the bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX instead I received debt collection in the mail from TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS INC XXXX I called and explained the situation in Fall 2022 and said I would not pay the debtor, I would pay XXXX XXXX directly using my health insurance savings account. I received the XXXX XXXX bill in XXXX 2022 and I promptly paid the {$270.00} bill with the payment confirmation number written on the top right corner in the attached bill ; # XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I received a collections notification from Transworld Inc saying that I owed {$8700.00} from my previous landlord. I moved out and did not owe that egregious amount. They never verified the amount that the landlord said I owed and just posted it in my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Transworld sent me to collection without following legal process for intent to dispute as I have no knowledge of this account. the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) governs how consumer credit information is collected, reported, and used by credit reporting agencies and other entities. Under the FCRA, a debt collector is required to notify the debtor in writing before reporting the debt to a credit reporting agency. Specifically, Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ) of the FCRA states that a debt collector must provide written notice to the consumer " before the expiration of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the debt collector acquired the debt, that unless the consumer disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector. '' This notice must be provided in writing and must include information about the debt, including the amount owed, the name of the creditor, and the consumer 's right to dispute the debt. If the consumer disputes the debt in writing within the 30-day period, the debt collector must verify the debt before reporting it to a credit reporting agency. As a result, this business failed to provide a documentation which gives me a legal rights to fight this in court for violation of my rights, and messing up my credit score. Respond to this letter to avoid further legal actions!

Consumer Complaint: I had a bill from XXXX XXXX from an appointment with my doctor. Service date was XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX and amount was {$300.00}. I paid this bill in full in person at the doctor 's office on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX with my credit card and received a paper receipt from the front office person who processed the payment. In XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX I was contacted by XXXX ( debt collector ) and was informed that this bill was sent to collection by the hospital as they thought I haven't made the payment. My credit score was also affected at that time from this illegitimate charge. On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX made several calls to XXXX and XXXX XXXX to dispute the charge and try to resolve the issue. I was told by both XXXX and XXXX to fax them proof of payment. I faxed both of them the receipt and my credit card statement on that same day XX/XX/XXXXXXXX. I never heard back from either of them if anything else was needed. Today XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from another debt collector, TSI, and they informed me that XXXX had sent this same bill to collection once again. I informed TSI over the phone that this amount was already paid in XXXX XXXX TSI told me to fax them proof of payment and that this will be communicated to XXXX. Again, I faxed TSI the receipt and credit card statement on the same day XX/XX/XXXX and have not yet heard back from TSI or XXXX XXXX so far. This is an unacceptable business practice resulting from XXXX XXXX inability to verify a legitimate payment that was made directly at their own facility. This is causing me unnecessary stress and I shouldnt have to spend my own time and resources to try to fix someone elses mistakes.

Consumer Complaint: the company TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC. tried to collect a debt that i never owed with then and the day opened was on XX/XX/2022 for a debt that was never owed with an innacurate amount and bought from another company. when i never signed any documents with this debt collector and must be removed as soon as possible. In Accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act XXXX the Account from, TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC account number XXXX has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions.

Consumer Complaint: They call very often, sometimes two times a day. They mirror numbers near me but it changes when they call so I can't identify them. I told them I can't currently pay, I'm in debt that makes me essentially negative every paycheck and I had no money in my bank account every time they called. Each time they said I HAD to pay, and I'd say I don't have money and they said it needed to be paid today or start a payment plan. Last month they told me they'd leave me alone for a while and note that I'm not making extra money I can spend, so they'd give me a chance to call them when I'm better financially, and they still called me several times and got really snippy with me about paying immediately. All for a four year old hospital bill from an emergency XXXX where they injured me further, forced me to stay longer than I needed to, and racked up my bills and my insurance didn't cover it all. At this point I would've taken the XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: My company credit card bill, originally from XXXX XXXX, has been sent to collections through Nationwide Credit , Inc and I have received the collections statement. I went on a company issued training trip to XXXX, XXXX and was informed to use the card for flight tickets, room and board, food and XXXX testing to reenter the United States and to fly. I also had to cover payments for another employee on the trip, who did not get card authorization prior to travel, so their card was declined. The company let me go and has now discontinued paying the credit card payments. I notified the original creditor multiple times that I was not responsible for the bill, and that the debt was not valid under my name, as it was a company card and issued trip in which I was asked to use the card. I was also required to assist the other employee financially on the trip. The original creditor continued to call, harass, and got very unprofessional with me, threatening me to pay the debt that was not mine. I let them know I did not agree with the debt and asked them to contact my employer for payment. I also attempted to contact my employer. However, they ignored all communication and still sent the account to collections under my name. The company required that I put my name on the account for the training trip, even though I did not desire to do so. No effort was made by either party to contact my employer and rectify the bill in that manner as their name is also on the credit card.
