Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX of XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX processed two fraudulent transactions with XXXX. While the transactions were against our " checking account number '', the signature on the transactions was not ours, nor was it even in our name. The transactions were clearly fraudulent, and in our opinion, would have required " insider '' support. In the same month, we received a notification of debt collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( an affiliate of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) trying to collect on the fraudulent transactions. We filed a police report regarding the fraud, and forwarded this report, along with the multipage " disputed debt form '' we got from XXXX XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time, we requested copies of the fraudulent checks to provide to the police department to assist in the department 's investigation. We never heard back from XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, approximately five ( 5 ) years later, we are contacted by Transworld Systems , Inc., aka TSI, ( an affiliate of XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) attempting to collect on the debt associated with the fraudulent transactions. The initial contact was via phone at which time we explained that we had done everything XXXX XXXX XXXX had requested in XXXX of XXXX and we considered the matter closed and any further attempts to collect this debt was, in itself, fraud. Subsequent to this phone conversation TSI sent us two letters requesting we complete an " Identify Theft Victim 's Complaint and Affidavit '', a six ( 6 ) page document that resembles the " disputed debt form '' we completed for XXXX XXXX ( 5 ) years previously. We feel this continued attempt to coerce us in to paying debt created by XXXX XXXX XXXX 's inability to stop the original " identify theft '' and " fraudulent transactions '' is fraud. The company responsible for enabling the theft is affiliated with the companies attempting to collect the " debt ''. We respectfully request you take action against these companies.

Consumer Complaint: Transworld systems inc. showed a collection on my report from XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$310.00} XXXX XXXX. I had to call them XXXX XXXX to find out why because they have not tried to contact me at a correct address or by telephone. They are also putting a debt on my report that has already sat on my credit report for 7years and fallen off. The company is out of time-barred and statutes of limitations guidelines. As well as never spoken to me or sent a letter to a correct address to notify to legal report said debt, that is over 10years old and had already lived its 7year lifespan on my credit report.

They are attempting to collect interest on a medical debt that has no original interest applied. They are also trying to collect on a " no show '' fee for an appointment that I DID cancel, as evident by my cell phone statement and the outgoing call log.

Consumer Complaint: We had a XXXX XXXX XXXX on our rental for years. We used the service a few times and any expenses or monthly costs were automatically paid by a valid credit card on file. Services had not been used in the last year and no notification of outstanding debt was ever sent. After we did much work to our rental, we decided this home warranty policy was no longer needed. XX/XX/XXXX - I went to the vendors website per their annual renewal notification and put in writing ( via their email contact system ) that I no longer need the policy, no errors were given but a confirmation was not also received. XX/XX/XXXX - I called the company via their Customer Service and asked them if they processed my cancellation that was due to renew on XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and he checked everything and saw a service fee of {$75.00} that he checked our history and no work had been performed that would warrant an outstanding fee and was unable to reference it to anything. He went to clear the charge and then it changed to a cancellation fee on the description. He was unable to clear the charge and said he never saw that happen before. He told me he would be sending the issue to someone internally for he did not have the ability to override the charge. XX/XX/XXXX - I received a confirmation that my XXXX XXXX policy was in fact cancelled as of XX/XX/XXXX ( day of autorenewal ) via email, even though we spoke on the phone XX/XX/XXXX about unsuccessfully trying to cancel it prior. I responded and overviewed my conversation with XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX - Received a debt collector notice from Nationwide credit Inc. basically trying to collect. I was out of the country and literally returned the day after they said I had to respond ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I have not contacted either company since this is well documented and they just need to fix their system to reverse the bogus cancellation charge. Please contact me directly if you would like to get copies of anything I have collected. I have read other complaints on how this company preys on older people and makes cancelling their services impossible.
