Consumer Complaint: I am submitting this complaint because I received a letter a few months ago from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I assume that the letter was a scam because I knew nothing about the stated debt and did not reply to that letter. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from TSI ( Transworld Systems Inc ) about the same debt which they were now collecting for XXXX XXXX XXXX. in the amount of {$1400.00}. Please note that TSI Debt Collection Email dated Wednesday XX/XX/2023, is acting on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. who stated they assumed the debt from the XXXX XXXX XXXX. They stated that as of XXXX XXXX that I owe {$1400.00}. I mailed a certified dispute letter to TSI on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX to dispute the collection letter received. I requested they correct their records regarding this invalid, non-verified debt and to discontinue any type of communication regarding that debt. Please note that the dispute letter was sent to TSI physical address only as reflected below. The po box is provided for references only. Transworld Systems Inc. Consumer Complaint: Firstly, according to 15 USC 1681 section 602 ( a ) of the FCRA, it is crucial for consumer reporting agencies to exercise their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for consumer privacy. As XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies, and I am a consumer, I am deeply concerned about the impact on my privacy rights and the negative consequences resulting from the reporting of this account. Furthermore, 15 USC 6801 establishes the policy that financial institutions have an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of their customers and safeguard the security and confidentiality of their nonpublic personal information. The entity furnishing information to credit agencies, being a financial institution under this definition, is bound by this policy. Therefore, it is imperative that the reporting of this account, which jeopardizes the privacy and security of my personal information, be rectified immediately. Moreover, 15 USC 1681 section 604 ( a ) ( 2 ) restricts consumer reporting agencies from furnishing consumer reports without the explicit written instructions of the relevant consumer. It is crucial to note that neither XXXX, XXXX, XXXX nor the aforementioned entities, have obtained my written consent to furnish my personal information. Consequently, the reporting of this account is in direct violation of this provision. Additionally, according to 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ), financial institutions are prohibited from disclosing nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties unless the consumer has been informed about their right to exercise the option of nondisclosure. Unfortunately, I was not properly informed of this right by the entity furnishing information to credit agencies. This failure to comply with the FCRA regulations further compounds the negative impact on my quality of life. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) clearly states that consumer reporting agencies are prohibited from including any adverse information, except for records of convictions of crimes that antedate the report by more than seven years. However, the reporting of this account as an adverse item without my permission is a direct violation of this provision, exacerbating the harm caused by its inclusion on my credit report. In addition, 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A explicitly prohibits the furnishing of inaccurate consumer information to any consumer reporting agency. It is essential to rectify this situation promptly to ensure compliance with the FCRA and mitigate the negative consequences that have resulted from the reporting of this account. Furthermore, 15 U.S. Code 1681e mandates that consumer reporting agencies maintain reasonable procedures to avoid violations of the FCRA, and limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b. Regrettably, it appears that XXXX, XXXX and XXXX have not upheld these obligations, as reasonable procedures have not been maintained, leading to the adverse impact on my quality of life. Given the aforementioned violations of the FCRA and the considerable negative impact this account has had on my life, I urgently request that you take immediate action to remove this account from my credit report. Doing so will help alleviate the burdens I have been facing and restore a sense of stability to my financial well-being. I kindly request a written response acknowledging the receipt of this letter and providing a detailed plan of action to rectify the situation. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Sincerely,

Consumer Complaint: This is to dispute Transworld Systems Inc. reporting to XXXX that I currently own them {$2400.00}. I actually only owe {$110.00}, which I would gladly pay to them if they would merely communicate with me, which they have thus far refused to do. In fact, I was unaware that this matter was pending until I reviewed my XXXX credit report to discover why my credit report score had decreased dramatically. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote them a detailed letter with attached exhibits proving that I do not owe a lease contract buy-out fee in the amount of {$2300.00}, as they allege. However, after not hearing back from them for over one month, I sent them a second dispute letter, but this time in a manner with the United States Postal Service ( USPS ) that would require them to physically sign for it. As you can see on the attached USPS receipt ( tracking number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), I sent it to them on XX/XX/XXXX. If you run this tracking number, you will see that it arrived in their local post office on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. As of the date/time of this complaint ( XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXXXXXX XXXX ), they have still refused to sign for my second dispute letter to them. My complaint is that Transworld Systems Inc. has never made an attempt to reach me. When I moved out of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX apartment complex on XX/XX/XXXX, I left them my accurate and still current forwarding address at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MO XXXX, which means that Transworld Systems Inc. should have had it also. My complaint is also that Transworld Systems Inc. ignored my first dispute and is currently ignoring my second dispute by refusing to pick it up at their local post office. I find it highly unethical and just wrong to report the blatantly and demonstrably false information on my credit report, even after my mailing them proof positive that I do not owe this fee. A simple reading of my dispute with attached exhibits proves beyond all doubt that I do not owe the lease contract buy-out fee of {$2300.00} that they reported. They merely refuse to address this matter with me and refuse to respond to my disputes.

Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away
Consumer Complaint: I graduated from XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. Right before I graduated, I began receiving letters requesting payments for a Federal Perkins loan that I have no recollection of taking out. The letters misspelled my name, and I assumed that they were spam because of that, and because it is a Federal Perkins Loan. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and XXXX throughout the first few months of recieving these letters and both parties did not know who UAS was and informed me that my Federal Perkins Loan should be with all of the rest of my federal loans and that this was most likely just a scam. A few months go by, I was still receiving mail from UAS, but they started to be final notices. I contacted XXXX XXXX again, and they again said that it was a scam and not to worry. After I saw the non payments on my credit score I called XXXX and they then confirmed that this was who was holding my loans and corrected my information. It is now 4 years post graduation, I have enrolled in automatic payments and have been consistently making payments since XXXX of XXXX. I am now trying to buy a home and asking that they remove the lack of payments from my record considering my school, and FAFSA both confirmed for months that all of my Federal Perkins Loan information should be with XXXX ( where all of my other federal loans are ) and that this UAS seemed like a scam due to their lack of correct information and intense attempts to reach out to me. These should not fall on my credit report as it is the businesses responsibility to report my information correctly when sending important documents. Attached is an example of the letters they were sending me from XXXX - XXXX when my name was finally changed and XXXX XXXX confirmed that UAS is in fact their loan servicer.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I paid an apartment rental application fee of {$52.00} with XXXX XXXX Apartments in XXXX, XXXX. The apartment told me they have an apartment ready, Id just need to fill out the application and pay the {$50.00} fee. After filling out the application and paying the fee, they told me the apartment was no longer available and they rejected my application. I put a hold on my application fee through my bank until I was able to get a hold of the XXXX that same day to understand why the apartment was no longer available. Once I spoke with them, I released the hold from my bank the same day and they received their money of {$52.00}. This left my balance at {$0.00} with XXXX and I did not rent with them. XXXX sold my debt to a collection agency after it was fully paid off on XX/XX/XXXX. Basically, they got paid on it twice but sold it as a debt of {$120.00}. They claimed the bank charged them a {$75.00} fee for the dispute that was resolved in the same day. They did not provide any proof of the chargeback amount they allegedly received from their bank. I went to the apartment and they gave me a print out of my statement showing a balance of a {$0.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. In conclusion, I paid the {$52.00} application fee and the XXXX at XXXX provided me evidence of a {$0.00} balance. However, they are telling the collection agencies and the credit bureaus otherwise. I have provided copies of my bank statement and copies of the statement from XXXX but nothing is being resolved. I am feeling desperate to get some help on this issue as this is effecting my credit and my rental ability. I have fully paid off my debt before it was ever with the collection agency. This is becoming really frustrating and it feels like I am not getting anywhere with anyone, especially XXXX XXXX Apartments. Ive reached out and stopped by to try and correct this issue. They refer me to contact by phone. Ive left messages and called numerous times to no avail. Please let me know if I can provide any additional evidence to resolve this in a timely fashion.
