Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I recently obtained a copy of my credit report and you are currently reporting debt to my credit report and as allowed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I am requesting that you allow me to validate the alleged debt. Please provide me with a breakdown of all charges, dates of service and procedures given including fees associated. Additionally, I am allowed under the HIPAA law ( Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ), to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I do not recall giving permission to XXXX XXXX XXXX to release my medical information to a third party. I am aware that HIPAA does allow for limited information about me but anything more is to only be revealed with the patients authorization, therefore my request is twofold and as follows ; Validation of Debt and HIPPA Authorization - Please provide a breakdown of fees including any collection costs and medical charges - Provide a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical information to you - Cease any credit bureau reporting until debt has been validated by me Any automated responses or E-Oscar verification is unacceptable. Please send this information to my mailing address listed above and accept this letter as my formal debt validation request, which I am allowed under the FDCPA. Please note that withholding the information you received from any medical provider in an attempt to be HIPAA compliant and can be a violation of the FDCPA because you will be deceiving me after my written request. I request full documentation of what you received from the provider of service in connection with this alleged debt. Additionally, reporting of this debt to the credit bureaus prior to allowing me to validate it may be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can allow me to seek damages from your collection agency. I will await your reply with the above requested proof. You have 30 days in which to respond to this request, or this debt will be considered invalid, and removal from the credit bureaus expected or damages will be sought after.

Consumer Complaint: At the beginning of XXXX I attempted to obtain a mortgage prequalification and identified 3 unknown medical bills on my credit report from Transworld Systems Inc. When I contacted them by phone XXXX/XXXX/20 I was advised there were several more accounts that were not reporting on my credit report, but were in their records. In an attempt to get the prequalification done, it was time sensitive pending contract on new construction, I paid ALL the bills. I asked that a confirmation letter be sent. Ten days later I had not received the confirmation letter. I asked that it be faxed and mailed. The first week of XXXX I still had not received the confirmation letter. When I called for the third time I was told neither of the first two representatives had mailed or faxed the letter though my fax number was in their records. Finally the faxed letter was received that same week. XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with my mortgage company and they advised me that one of the TSI charges was STILL on my credit report. It is for {$59.00} and the credit report lists it as account number XXXX. The confirmation letter from TSI does list an account ending XXXX, but does not detail the amounts paid for each account.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: RE : Account # XXXX, Former creditor account # XXXX To Whom It May Concern : This letter is to follow-up my previous written requests, made Wednesday, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and again on Saturday, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, to dispute this debt in its entirety. I received a harassing telephone call this morning Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, from an agent who initially refused to identify who they represented, saying only that they were calling for XXXX XXXX regarding a personal matter, and asked me to verify my date of birth or address. I continued asking who the agent worked for, and only after asking several times did the agent tell me she was with Transworld Systems Inc. I informed her that the account is question is not my debt. You are already aware. You have now reported to the credit bureaus that I have an account in default with you prior to the end of the 30 day window of my disputing the account and prior to re-contacting me in written form, in a move that could be viewed as illicit, neglected to inform the credit bureaus the account was in dispute. I repeat : this account is not mine. I have been the victim of identity theft. I have filed identity theft reports and/or complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and my local police. Thank you for correcting your previous illicit omission with the credit bureaus and for doing the right thing which you are legally obligated to do and reporting to them that the account is in dispute an action you should have taken in the first place, not after having been prompted by Consumer Financial Protection Complaint XXXX. Today your company escalated this situation with what could be perceived as harassment. Your agent failed to identify who she worked for, demanded I verify my birthdate and address, and became increasingly hostile in tone and approach. I reiterate my initial written dispute as to the validity of this debt in its entirety, which dispute I originally provided in writing on Wednesday, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and again on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I do not have any responsibility for the debt you are attempting to collect. I repeat from previous letter : Stop all other communication with me and with this address, and record that I dispute having any obligation for this debt. If you stop your collection of this debt, and forward or return it to another company, please indicate to them that it is disputed. Your multiple actions to date, including premature reporting to credit bureaus with the omission the account was in dispute, and your agents harassing call to me this morning, in the middle of the workday, in my place of business, could be perceived as a series of actions taken in bad faith and for the specific purpose of harassment in direct violation of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, including 809 Validation of Debts 15 USC1692g. On a personal note, your persistent actions have driven my credit score more than 50 points downward into the grave, caused me to be blocked from receiving lines of credit for which I would otherwise qualify, and have triggered my documented XXXX XXXX, for which I am now incurring new medical bills which I am paying, because I do owe them unlike this account, which is not mine, and I do not owe. All the best, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I've disputed this account several times because I do not know who or what TSI/XXXX is or why they are on my credit. I've written to them asking them to verify the information, and they have not responded. They have continued to call my place of work, despite me repeatedly asking them not to, so they are now auto dialing my cell phone! Please make this nightmare end!

Consumer Complaint: I noticed a collection account with Transworld Systems on my credit report, which was based on a past due balance with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I knew that I did not owe any money to XXXX, so I provided proof to XXXX that the debt was not valid. XXXX stated that they would recall my account from collections. However ; the collection agency has updated my credit reports so that it now shows paid in full which is incorrect. I have not paid on any collection nor have I paid any amount whatsoever to Transworld Systems. This inaccurate collection account needs to be removed from my credit reports immediately. I have disputed with the credit bureaus and the information was falsely validated by Transworld Systems twice.

Consumer Complaint: I received a notice dated XX/XX/2020 that I owed a debt over several accounts in the amount of {$10000.00}. Account # XXXX I contacted TSI [ TSI XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX ]. I registered that i was disputing this debt. I contacted my insurance company ( XXXX ) that was my insurance company at the time of the alleged debts. I spoke with a representative by the name of XXXX ( These communications took place between XX/XX/20 and XX/XX/20, which were recorded. XXXX can produce all, and i give them the right to do so ). She looked into my account between the alleged dates of service ( XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ) and found no record of any claims being filed. There is one claim in the amount of XXXX that may be a legitimate claim. She contacted TSI and spoke with XXXX in their insurance department. After 5 attempts she has received no return calls. I registered an online account, and found that there is a disparity between the written statement, and what is online. The information they have from the originators has either an incorrect address, or no address. The largest claim of XXXX has no address listed. No entity has been able to produce a record or details of this claim. My agent ( XXXX ) has contacted TSI in good faith to resolve the dispute, as the debt is not owed. They have not responded in a timely fashion. This debt should be nulled, it is not my debt, and I was not billed in a timely manner. My insurance company has no record of any claims filed in this timeframe, and it is far past the 180 days required for a health insurance provider to bill them. This is a billing error by one or several health care organizations and is not a debt i owe.
