Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Can't get other flexible options for repaying your loan
Consumer Complaint: I have already made this complaint before with XXXX but it is clear they want to point blame at UAS. This was the original complaint I made here to XXXX : " I lost my job in tech back in XXXX of 2023. Anything that has been saved up was spent on rent, car, insurance, and all other bills including my UAS loan. I have been in contact with UAS on the phone and XXXX XXXX through email and they only offered me a total of 6 months at a lower rate to delay the inevitable. When I asked for more help they told me if I can not make the payments then I WILL HAVE TO LET THE LOAN DEFAULT!! This gives lots of credibility to those who believe UAS is trying to destroy people 's credit as they also listed on their website that even bankruptcy may not help you from their loans! Now I still have no stable income and my minimum payment to UAS is {$1000.00} a month. I have also reached out to my school at the time, XXXX, for help all the way back in XXXX. They said they would file a case but have not given any progress updates since then. '' XXXX 's response made it clear UAS has all control with payment options as stated by them : " XXXX does not conduct credit reporting, including reporting late payments to credit bureaus. XXXX third-party loan servicer, University Accounting Services ( UAS ), handles servicing on this loan. Because XXXX is not a loan servicer, it can not offer settlements, facilitate payment agreements, or renegotiate the loan terms. The borrower is encouraged to speak with XXXX third-party servicing partners, UAS and Loan Science, for any further deferral information. '' However every attempt I have made at contacting UAS and negotiating a solution I have been met with the same general response : " We will only give you the 6 months of a lower payment that has already been given, please contact XXXX for further assistance '' Not only will UAS respond to this complaint last minute as XXXX did with theirs, but their response will boil down to they will not/ can not negotiate payment options unless XXXX gives them the okay. This is a clear " point and blame '' tactic used to clear their name of the obvious : they want their money fast and do not care about the stability and future of their borrowers. I am stuck begging for money as to hope to meet the insane XXXX XXXX monthly payment, and as I am already homeless any ding on my credit will keep me on the streets. I have made my situation very clear to both XXXX and UAS and they have also made their intentions to not help me very clear. It is extremely frustrating having to share with friends and colleagues that I made a huge mistake furthering my education and taking a loan with XXXX and UAS.

Consumer Complaint: I received an email from TSI stating that I owed {$2500.00} to XXXX XXXX ( XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, AZ from XXXX, XXXX. I lived at this complex for months after this date, and moved to a different apartment within the complex. I was never informed that there was an issue with rent and {$2500.00} is not even how much the rent was. I was never informed before anything was sent to collections either. I have an email from XX/XX/XXXX, stating I was removed from the rental agreement and was no longer responsible for any amount owed to XXXX XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX when I received an email from TSI and asked for proof of this debt. I never received any proof that this debt was owed. This debt was also during a time when XXXX XXXX were switching portals and many other tenants experienced issues. I have disputed this debt with TSI and they are just saying they are not getting a response from XXXX XXXX.

Issue: Communication tactics
Subissue: Frequent or repeated calls
Consumer Complaint: I am receiving repeated phone calls from a company that comes up on my caller ID as Transworld Inc. The representative advised me that I have a medical bill from XXXX XXXX. I said that was impossible. She asked me to verify my address and I did, and it was NOT my address that she had on file. She gave me just the street name that she had on file and it was my ex-husband 's old address. I couldn't verify it because I couldn't remember the address because I haven't lived there in years. I explained to her that while I stayed at that address I did not go to a XXXX XXXX. She asked me to verify my social and DOB and I did not feel comfortable giving that. The next day, I received another call from the same number ( XXXX ). I explained that this debt was not mine and asked them to discontinue calling me. I blocked the number and they have been calling 2-4 times a day from different numbers. When I block those numbers they began to call on different numbers. These calls are now daily and throughout the day. This company has threatened to send it to credit agencies because I will not settle this bill with them. This company has violated these laws : 15 U.S.C. 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C. 1681 section 604 Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. 15U.S.C. 1692C Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt.

Consumer Complaint: RE : Response to CFPB Complaint ( Complaint # XXXX ) I am writing in response to your reply to my complaint filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), referenced above. In your correspondence, you stated that It is TSIs intent not to have any communication with me in reference to the above account. Moreover, you provided contact information for XXXX XXXX XXXX for any further questions regarding my account. I must bring to your attention that despite your intent, communication regarding this alleged debt has not ceased. Furthermore, I have made several attempts to reach XXXX XXXX at the number provided ( XXXX ) XXXX, leaving messages with the intent of discussing the matter. To this date, I have not received a response. It appears that Transworld Systems Inc. is in clear violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, specifically 15 USC 1692g ( b ). According to this law, TSI has failed to : 1. Provide proper verification of the alleged debt. 2. Provide judgment of the alleged debt. 3. Cease collection of the debt until TSI obtained verification/judgment and mailed such findings. Please be aware, the statement that was previously provided does not pertain to me, as it does not bear my name. This is a critical error on your part. In addition, I filed a dispute directly with XXXX regarding this alleged debt. On XX/XX/2023, XXXX responded to my dispute stating, The information you disputed has been verified as accurate ; however, information unrelated to your dispute has been updated. The account in question ( # XXXX ) was verified as belonging to me, with certain fields modified. This verification is perplexing, given that TSI has not complied with the necessary requirements to substantiate this debt.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Collector, Transworld systems received my account on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX. My XXXX account was first opened in XXXX of XXXX. My last payment was sometime in XXXX. I never received a bill until about XXXX of XXXX. The amount owed is apparently {$2800.00}. The report says the account opened on XX/XX/XXXX, which is incorrect as I already stated the account opened in XXXX. In remarks it says dispute resolved, but it is still affecting my credit. The account itself is XXXX plus years old now, and the account has been delinquent for XXXX plus years now. Transworld systems did send me a letter showing the balance and specific transactions and including information on how to pay. I wrote a note that I would not be paying it as it has been over 10 years since the account was opened. I tried to dispute this through XXXX 3 times and each time they were unable to make changes. I have been locked out of both the XXXXXXXX XXXX and the Transworld Systems portal, and therefor I no longer have access to any of my account info or documents. I have been locked out ever since my dispute. I hope you can get the information.
