Consumer Complaint: Good morning. I receive a loan to go to a film school. The amount of said loan was supposed to be {$12000.00} dollars. Unbeknownst to me the actual loan amount was {$18000.00} dollars with an interest rate of XXXX XXXX and {$5900.00} in what they call interest+fees. {$12000.00} with the interest rate of XXXX XXXX across 60 months or 5 years is a total of {$280.00} month. When I started i was paying $ XXXX {$140.00} up until recently. It has now jumped to {$350.00} a month. In order to have {$350.00} a month payments, the actual interest that is being dealt is XXXX XXXX. {$12000.00} across 60 months with an interest rate of XXXX XXXX is exactly XXXX. This is predatory lending and they are getting away with because people want to purse their dreams and goal in the college or educational programs and institutions of their choosing. This is blatantly illegal and not to mention blasphemous.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection notice from Trans World Systems Inc on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, TX in the amount of {$1200.00}. I have never lived in this city and reside in XXXX, WA the last 15 years. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and they verified there was no account under my name and that it was a phony collection. On XX/XX/XXXX my credit score suddenly dropped XXXX points from XXXX to XXXX. I checked my credit report and found that this phony charge of {$1200.00} was now listed as a collection by two collection companies. XXXX XXXX XXXX and Transworld Systems Inc. I will now have to retain an Attorney to resolve this issue.

Consumer Complaint: A collection showed up on my account. It was {$110.00}. They said it was an old cable bill. Quite possible. I went through a divorce. Mind you I never received any notification that I owed this From Transworld systems. Nothing ever. It was a small amount I thought pay it and be done with it. Bad choice on my part. I asked if they would provide me a receipt. I asked at least twice. This was XX/XX/2023. She said yes XXXX hours. Couple days go by no receipt. Called on XXXX XXXX said it would be XXXX days. Called XXXX XXXX XXXX days. Same story asked for supervisor said theyve sent request XXXX days. To make a long story short called every day ( 5 days ) to get receipt. They always said it was a different department and it would be XXXX days every time. I pay a credit card bill get a receipt in XXXX seconds. They dont want to provide a receipt. My guess is if I cant prove I paid it they can try to collect later or sell the debt to another collection company. It is a systematic effort to not provide a receipt. Wasted so much time on my end.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/ my wife recieved a XXXX vaccine from XXXX in the XXXX, NC XXXX at XXXX. Their address is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC, XXXX. We asked before getting the shot if they accepted our insurance ; the XXXX staff asserted that they did so we went ahead. A few weeks later we recieved a bill for {$170.00} from XXXX for the service. We asked for an explanation, and eventually learned that clinic is out of network for our insurer, XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX We made several calls to XXXX and XXXX, eventually getting representatives from both organizations on one conference call in late XXXX. The XXXX representative noticed that our insurance card indicated our plan was a PPO, but the XXXX agent was stating that our plan is an EPO. XXXX is part of the PPO plan but not the EPO plan. After some complaining on our part that XXXX had caused the problem by sending us the wrong insurance card, the carrier reluctantly agreed to pay for the service but warned us to always check with them before contracting with a new provider. At that time we held XXXX blameless in the matter, as XXXX had commited the original error. We assumed that XXXX would re-submit the claim, as the were on the call, and the notes in everyones records would result in timely payment. We heard nothing more on the matter for several months. On XX/XX/XXXX we began getting communications claiming we had an outstanding debt with XXXX / XXXX. We ignored the first text, assuming it was a scam, but my wife called after a follow up message. We learned, after a lengthly conversation, that XXXX had not re-submitted our claim. They had, instead, merely put it on " hold '' without informing us of their actions. Apparently when XXXX puts a bill " on hold '' they don't attempt to contact anyone until it is well past due. The hold was lifted XX/XX/XXXX and the bill was immediately sent to " collections ''. We had no contact with them after the end of XXXX, or we could have tried to sort this problem out before they sold the debt to a collections agency. The XXXX agent we talked to asserted that they do not bill insurance companies directly for shingles vaccination, but have the customer enter the claim to be reimbursed to them. The agent claimed this is because the shingles vaccine is somehow coded differently than other vaccinations. This is not true, as they submitted the original re-imbursement request in XXXX. XXXX denied the request because it was out of network, not as a coding error. As a result of XXXX not following the process the agent states is in place we will have to deal with a colletion agency and attempt to secure payment. We believe that XXXX caused these problems by first failing to follow their own processes ( if agent was correct that they don't submit these claims ) and second by not informing us of the steps they now claim are required. XXXX should clean this mess up themselves by re-submitting the claim as they did in XXXX. We did ask the agent to send us a copy of the bill so we could assist in getting reimbursement if necessary, but the agent stated that they can no longer send a copy of the bill because it has been sent to collections.

Consumer Complaint: A debt popped up on my credit unbeknownst to me. ( I am in the process of getting an auto loan ) I called and apparently they had the wrong address. It is a XXXX party collecting for an old cable bill. I had moved out of state and a small balance was left over. In order to get the loan I needed proof the debt was paid. They had the wrong forwarding address. I called them to pay. I told them the situation and that I needed a receipt so my loan can be approved. She stated on the XXXX of XX/XX/2023 that they would email me the receipt in XXXX hours. The receipt never came. I called them Monday the XXXX of XXXX ( Im in Hawaii so my time is different. They are closed when I get off work ). The XXXX XXXX XXXX said it would be XXXX more days for the receipt. I requested a supervisor they said it would be there by today. I spent well over a hour and a half Monday trying to get a receipt. Called again Tuesday XXXX of XXXX. I have been on the phone literally half of the day. I have spoken to a dozen different people all told and received a dozen different answers. Anywhere from 1 day to XXXX days to XXXX days. I still do not have the receipt. It shocks the conscience. XXXX with XXXX today around XXXX pm Hawaii time. Requested a supervisor after yet another time frame for the receipt, he put me on hold for XXXX minutes then came back and said there wasnt a supervisor available, they had all left for the day. I called back at XXXX XXXX and was able to get a supervisor. Still have yet to get a receipt. They acknowledge the debt is paid. For whatever reason Id have better luck getting into XXXX XXXX. It has to be a systematic business model to not give receipts. Im not exaggerating when I say its been XXXX hours of wasted time on my end. The company is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX collecting for XXXX cable. Their number XXXX
