Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB Headquarters. XXXX XXXX has been abusing the Fair Credit Reporting Act and running circles around myself and the CFPB complain system. I XXXX XXXX am the victim of Identity Theft with documents dating back years. XXXX XXXX is reporting a Fraudulent in my name. I have disputed this multiples times with XXXX XXXX. Three times through the CFPB. Each time XXXX XXXX 's staff said they would later reach out to myself for more information. Each time was a lie to wait out the complaint against them. They then proceeded to resend another collections letter never having asked for the evidence I was told they would ask for three different times. Their only statement has been that two payments were made to the card from a XXXX XXXX Account. However, as I have informed them every time that account was already confirmed as fraudulent from XXXX. However, regardless of this evidence that completely invalidates their " proof '' that the account is valid they merely lie, stall, and ignore the Fair Credit Reporting Act which they are committing multiple violations of. In addition, the CFPB has been allowing this to continue as I have read multiple similar complaints online. The CFPB is failing to investigate and fight against this abuse towards the American people. Therefore, I demand this matter be escalated to the teams in charge of taking legal action when a corporation is knowingly and blatantly violating the FCRA and abusing consumers. Have the appropriate department contact myself with any questions. Further neglect from the CFPB concerning XXXX XXXX 'XXXX abuse may result in us filing a case against the CFPB.

Consumer Complaint: I lived at XXXX XXXX and was forced to open utility services prior to my move in. When I moved out in XXXX of XXXX, the apartments allowed new tenant to move in without utilities being set up or verified, and the new tenant charged their electricity services to my account until XX/XX/XXXX when I realized I was being charged {$500.00} per month for their usage. The apartments never had the new tenant pay for the amount due from them, or verify with XXXX that I moved out. I did Disconnect services when I moved out because I had to change my move out date once. There is now a {$420.00} collection reported to my credit report, even after I verified I didnt live there. Ive never been reimbursed for the charges made in the first place, and now XXXX is even attempting to collect a debt I was never responsible for and this was verified via phone call with XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX Transworld Systems Inc. closed account # XXXX in the amount of {$700.00} On XX/XX/XXXX Transworld Systems Inc. placed the same amount of debt that they claim I owe under a different account # XXXX which I have no knowledge of either account or debt. TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS has also violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act as well by re-aging the alleged debt in the amount of {$700.00}. The print out of the bill TransWorld Systems INC has sent to me several times in the past several months to validate this alleged debt is dated for XX/XX/XXXX. This goes against the date the account displays it was opened on my credit file for XX/XX/XXXX. Also the amount that TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS INC claims I need to pay them is different from the amount displayed on the print out of the bill they have sent me as well. The amount displayed on my credit file is for amount of {$700.00} but the bill they have sent me displays {$700.00} If the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and XXXX will take a look at the printout of the bill that was sent to me by Transworld Systems which dated XX/XX/XXXX and look at the date opened on my credit file which displays XX/XX/XXXX you can clearly see that this alleged debt has been re-aged for almost two years since ive been disputing this alleged debt. Letters of disputes were sent and received on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. The latest dispute letter I received from Transworld Systems was on XX/XX/XXXX and that stated that account # XXXX was in a dispute status. Every time a dispute letter was sent, Transworld Systems constantly sent me a copy of a bill from Arizona Public Service which they are using for their METHOD OF VERIFICATION. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute a METHOD OF VERIFICATION. As of current, Ive only gotten responses back from the dispute letter Ive sent to Transworld Systems, XXXX stating that the debt was valid. As of XX/XX/XXXX, Ive not yet heard back from Transworld Systems Stating how and why the debt was valid with no method of verification. Since the debt was last disputed on XX/XX/XXXX, Transworld Systems has again willfully violated the FRCA by not responding to my dispute. Transworld Systems Inc has not responded within the required 15 day deadline of sending me their METHOD OF VERIFICATION. Not only have they not responded in 15 day deadline, but they have not responded to my dispute letter since XX/XX/XXXX. I have previously reached out to Transworld Systems Inc. several times with all required documentation concerning this alleged debt. I have asked Transworld Systems for theIr METHOD OF VERIFICATION three times, and three times I have been denied my request for their method of verification and met with NON COMPLIANCE. As stated in 609 Disclosure To Consumers [ 15U.S.C 1681g ] ( a ) Information on file ; sources ; report recipients. Every consumer reporting agency shall, upon request, and subject to 610 ( a ) ( 1 ) [ 1681h ], clearly and accurately disclose to the consumer : As we know, the information that verifies the information inside a credit report is supposed to be in the files of the credit bureau as well. This is the Information that the credit bureaus are supposed to store in their database on every consumer. As well as 609 ( c ) ( E ) As of XX/XX/XXXX Transworld Systems Inc is still reporting all negative Information about this alleged debt to my XXXX credit File. I am asking the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate the non compliance from Transworld Systems and the non compliance from XXXX from the disputes that I have submitted here today. I would like to add that since my last dispute on XX/XX/XXXX Transworld Systems INC has yet to respond back to be which is another violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Consumer Complaint: Update to my complaint, I was notified that my XXXX could be garnished and was threatened to be. I got a loan and paid off XXXX XXXX for XXXX. I called credit bureaus to notify of illegal debt collection and Law Suit 2016, XXXX XXXX XXXX California XXXX. I was also told by a member of the XXXX XXXX XXXX there a was a lot of information that should have dropped off my credit report, still showing. I also stated to all 3, credit reporting agencies that I was never given a proper subpoena to appear in any court, They sent judgements to my old address 's and failed to contact me VIA e-mail that I have had for at least 30, years to notify me. Again keeping within what DOJ, Ca cited, they served judgements in states where the debtor was not able or given proper legal opportunity to appear. In Violation of Due Process and the 5th amendment in accordance with the OIG U.S. Treasury. They chose to act above the law, for which they again were found of guilty of in 2016. To the best of my knowledge, TSI was collection agency on behalf of USA Distributors in association with XXXX. That I am not sure is or is not the case, I am not able to confirm but hope you can.

I contacted XXXX who confirmed this debt. I had no knowledge of this debt when I closed my account with XXXX. I then paid TSI the {$76.00} online using my XXXX XXXX debit card because TSI refused to be paid by credit card. The confirmation number is XXXX. TSI has NOT CONFIRMED that this debt is paid as of this time. I called them last week and told me that they don't know when this will be cleared or whether it would hurt my credit rating.
