Consumer Complaint: Summary of complaint : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( lender ) has demonstrated opaque, unfair, and unethical policies towards international student loan borrowers by denying them the right to seek refinancing of their loans and refusing the release of co-borrowers. Description : 1 ) I have an international student loan under repayment from the lender ( taken in 2011 ). Even though I am not in the US, I have been making regular payments towards the loan and have never defaulted. 2 ) Over the past 2 years, though there has been a significant reduction in the student loan interest rates, the lender is still charging me 5.5 % APR. In spite of making multiple requests to the lender to refinance my loan at the reduced interest rates, I am being denied the right to do so. 3 ) The lender claims that they can not refinance international student loans where borrowers do not meet the requirements of a current US address. However, they seemed it perfectly ok to grant me the original loan in 2011 even though I did not have a US address at that time. This opaqueness of policy and loan terms is grossly unfair and unethical towards international student loan borrowers. 4 ) As a result of the lender 's refusal to refinance my loan, I am having to bear an additional interest burden of over {$30000.00}. In my view, this practice of denying refinancing to international student loan borrowers is extremely unfair and in gross violation of consumer protection rights. 5 ) As an international student loan borrower, the lender has also refused my request for the release of my co-borrower without giving any proper reason or justification. 6 ) Over the past 2 years, I have made multiple phone calls and written multiple times to the lender escalating the above issues and request resolution. However, they have flatly refused to honor my request, citing opaque policy reasons. 7 ) The lender has also cited that provisions and terms mentioned in the loan promissory note prohibit them from refinancing the loan to international borrowers. However, this is blatantly false as there are no such terms mentioned in the promissory note. 8 ) I thus wish to bring the above unfair and unethical practices of the lender to the attention of CFPB for redressal and resolution.

The debt is in accurate and is not mine but because Im buying a home and you aid to get it removed because it was important that I got it taken off my reports. On XX/XX/2021 I called TransWorld systems and was told I can pay to have the debt deleted by An employee named XXXX. I paid the amount and asked for a letter as well for my proof. She stated that she will mail it and I told her I would rather have it emailed. She stated she could fax it instead. I gave her the fax number and she never sent me my proof needed. It is now XX/XX/XXXX the account has been paid for months now and they still have not removed it from my account. Instead they lowered the balance. It is negatively impacting my process of obtaining a home. Please remove this from my account.

I am not about to send you all of my accurate information for you to have on record and use against me for an inaccurate account that I am currently disputing. I sent you the utility bill which shows that I was clearly living somewhere else well before this account charged off and had a different utility company. You have what you need to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report it is your job to find out who the account belongs to or who put it in my name not mine. You have not complied with the federal law because you sent me a statement as validation of the debt and that does not prove that I owe the debt because I don't owe the debt it only proves there is a balance. THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT MINE I WAS NOT AT THAT LOCATION DID NOT LIVE THERE AND PROVIDED PROOF THAT I WAS ELSEWHERE WITHIN THE SAME TIMEFRAME THAT IS ON THE SUPPOSED PROOF YOU SENT ME! Consumer Complaint: Transworld Systems has continued to willfully report inaccurate information of an alleged debt after being notified several times via certified mail. I have attached the debt validation letters, inaccurate reporting, and certified mail receipt. This company has failed to respond within 30 days as requested from the debt validation letter. I have attached the certified mail receipt. The company has not been able to provide a contract with a wet signature for the alleged debt as requested. There is a 1 month term showing for this alleged debt which is falsely indicating that there was a contract between myself and Transworld Systems which is not true. I have never had a contract with this debt collection company. There is a past due balance showing on this alleged collection account as well. A past due balance cant be shown for an account there was never any payments made to nor a valid contract this is a violation of the FCRA willing reporting invalid and inaccurate information. This 3rd party, has no rights to collect anything from the alleged debtor since there is no way you can prove you were on any original contract. Familiarize yourself with 73 Am Jur 2nd, Section 90. You have no right to " subrogate '' ( substitute ) yourself into a contract, whether it is by purchase, assignment, transfer, or trade. If you " bought '' the debt, you did it on your own behalf, not at the request of any alleged debtor, and therefore are a " stranger to the transaction '' ( voluntary payee ). The previous CFPB complaint is attached indicates that they may not have sufficient time to complete an investigation of the alleged accuracy. According to the FCRA if the 3rd party debt collector stated there has NOT been Sufficient time to complete an investigation the third party debt collector shall immediately change the items in the relevant file as requested by the individual. I requested for this alleged debt to be removed and deleted from all three credit bureaus and for it to be REMOVED from their records.

Consumer Complaint: I will attach a letter further detailing what went on, but basically, I bought a new car, the dealer never terminated the insurance with the old car, my new insurance guy said to ignore it as it will automatically be taken care of. I did that. Then months later I was informed the bill, which I don't owe, was sent to a credit collection agency and they've put the false debt on my credit report, thus damaging my credit. This is the 2nd time XXXX has screwed me over which is why I'm taking this issue to you after having a 2nd effort with the XXXX to resolve this new issue unsuccesssfully. I have provided ample proof I do not owe this debt and resources for them to call to verify which they have chosen not to do. I do not owe this debt and want it off my credit report now.

Consumer Complaint: This is my 2nd complaint. I have requested validation of the alleged debt, not verification, in writing twice. The company is either unwilling or unable to do so. This is a violation of the FDCPA. I have disputed with XXXX. This company continues to report to XXXX which is a violation of the FCRA. They have removed it from XXXX but not XXXX. They have had months since my last complaint to either validate the debt or remove the credit bureau listing. Simply sending a copy of a bill is not enough. This bill goes back to when the utility company was own by a different company. This bill shows service being billed while I had an active account at the same address. This bill has only one number different in the account number. I believe this to be a mistake. A bill does not provide enough information for me to research my own records. There is nothing that proves I ever agreed to be responsible for this alleged debt. I have exhausted my resources and I will be pursuing litigation shortly.

Consumer Complaint: Transworld Systems Inc ( TSI ) is the collection agency handling some medical debts from XXXX XXXX XXXX. In an attempt to validate said debts they sent me a list of the amount owed, the original creditor and account numbers. They also sent my medical records, detailing the procedures I received, which I know is a direct violation of HIPPA regulations. Someone even hand wrote their reference number on the top of each bill. I never signed a HIPPA form authorizing TSI access to my personal medical information.
