Consumer Complaint: I began law school in XXXX of XXXX. Since then, UAS Connect has requested payment and submitted " past due '' notices and reports to credit bureaus 9 times. The reports on my credit report reflect past due payments for XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX - XXXX of XXXX, and XXXX - XXXX of XXXX. Not only did I dispute these reports on XXXX XXXX over 6 times, I emailed UAS customer service 3 times between XXXX and XXXX. I received one response on XX/XX/XXXX citing that they corrected my deferment status. However, they made no attempt to correct my credit score. Each time learned a payment was late, I paid them because I did not know any better. I recently spoke with a representative, seeking payment on my " past due '' account on XX/XX/XXXX. I told her that my account is and was in deferment from XXXX XXXX. She confirmed that each past due notice was made in error and that I should not have been penalized on my credit report. However, no correction has been made. I called a second time on XX/XX/XXXX to request the changes be made immediately, but was told doing so is " impossible. '' As a result of their refusal to correct 2 years worth of negligence, my credit score fell upwards of 200 points. I can't apply to the only credit cards or car loans I can afford. Most importantly, I have to delay my application to the California Bar until my credit score is repaired. UAS Connect was put on notice in XXXX, again in XXXX, and for the third time in XXXX. UAS 's conduct is not only predatory, but reflect willful violations of the FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: I received an alert on my XXXX credit report that I had a new collections. I was surprised since I've paid down/off most of my outstanding debt this year. I disputed the charge and it came back verified as my account. I called the agency to figure out the original creditor. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and was told they couldn't find an account and would call be back in 30 mins. I received no call back. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and was told I had 3 different accounts and those accounts did not match what was reported on my credit report. I asked for a itemized statement since I've never received one from the original provider, apparently the system is down and they said they will send it later. I called Transworld to just pay the XXXX account since I'm in the process of refinancing my house and was told I needed to pay {$560.00} instead of the {$390.00} reported on my credit report. I also asked for a receipt and she told me that the bank statement will serve as my receipt. I told her that was unacceptable and will need something in writing that says this account has been resolved. I almost positive I wont receive one since I haven't received an initial letter that I had an open account with them. I only found out about the account when I got the alert from XXXX. The rep that took my payment over the phone was RUDE and not customer friendly. Here words to me were " We can't tell the computer when to send the updates to the credit agencies '' and " You transaction on your bank statement will serve as your receipt. ''

Consumer Complaint: On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX a credit pull showed XXXX collections from XXXX XXXX. Not ever having services with XXXX XXXX, I called them to ask what they were reporting. The XXXX that assisted me could not find any information under my name, drivers license number, nor my social security number. She then advised me to call the collection agency which XXXX XXXX uses, which is Transworld Systems. On speaking with Transworld Systems, they also had no idea about the XXXX accounts in question. The amounts for these accounts are, {$530.00}, {$470.00}, and {$200.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I have contact University Accounting Services multiple times through mail. I have requested a validation of the debt- I also sent the documents certified mail. XXXX has received my mail and then keeps emailing but is not emailing anything I have asked for. I have not got anything that I have requested. I have now sent an Affidavit of truth along with other documents to the company dated XX/XX/21. After continuing to get ignored I took charge and found multiple violations. Consumer Complaint: According to 15 USC 1692J It is unlawful to design, compile, and furnish any form knowing that such form would be used to create the false belief in a consumer that a person other than the creditor of such consumer is participating in the collection of or in an attempt to collect a debt such consumer allegedly owes such creditor, when in fact such person is not so participating. b ) Any person who violates this section shall be liable to the same extent and in the same manner as a debt collector is liable under section 1692k of this title for failure to comply with a provision of this subchapter. Transworld has repeatedly violated the law for continuing to report monthly this alleged debt when they are NOT the original creditor. Transworld Systems hasnt been able to provide any proof that they are they original creditor and I have not validated the debt as The term creditor means any person who offers or extends credit creating a debt or to whom a debt is owed, but such term does not include any person to the extent that he receives an assignment or transfer of a debt in default solely for the purpose of facilitating collection of such debt for another. This company is in violation of my consumer rights. According to 15USC 1692g Transworld Systems has failed to provide all of the information required in the law below as well. If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection ( a ) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. Collection activities and communications that do not otherwise violate this subchapter may continue during the 30-day period referred to in subsection ( a ) unless the consumer has notified the debt collector in writing that the debt, or any portion of the debt, is disputed or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor. Any collection activities and communication during the 30-day period may not overshadow or be inconsistent with the disclosure of the consumers right to dispute the debt or request the name and address of the original creditor.

Consumer Complaint: I recently had my credit report pulled by a bank because I am in the process of purchasing a home. On my credit report, XXXX XXXX shows a student loan from XXXX XXXX University ( where I attended ) for {$2000.00} that caught my attention because I had never seen it before and have been paying on my student loans since XXXX. The credit report stated this loan has not been updated in XXXX XXXX 's system since XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX University and XXXX XXXX ( which is the loan provider XXXX XXXX uses ) and they could not find this loan anywhere in their system. After 50+ phone calls to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX from XXXX, XXXX concluded that this portion of the loan was never updated to XXXX XXXX from UAS XXXX, which is the loan provider XXXX XXXX used until XX/XX/XXXX. I attended XXXX XXXX University from XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, XXXX XXXX university transferred all of the student loan accounts from UAS to XXXX XXXX. On my credit report from XXXX, it is showing I still owe UAS that loan amount because XXXX has not gotten any updated loan information from UAS XXXX about my account since XX/XX/XXXX. So, it is still showing on my credit report that I have a balance with UAS XXXX of {$2000.00}. XXXX informed me the only way this can be changed is if UAS XXXX sends them an updated report showing that this account no longer exists or has been transferred/paid off. I called UAS XXXX 3 times on XX/XX/XXXX and they informed me they can not help because they can not find my loan account ( because it was transferred to XXXX XXXX ). They are unwilling to help me and I do not know where else to turn. I can confirm this loan amount was with UAS XXXX because all of their loan accounts start with the same 3 numbers, and the account number that is on the attached document match. I need this removed from my credit report because it is no longer valid, and no one will help me. The attached file is information of the account balance I am referring to. I tried to file a dispute with XXXX XXXX and this was the result. XXXX XXXX reached out to the contact information provided, but it is the contact information for XXXX XXXX, not UAS XXXX.

Credit reporting laws ensure that bureaus report only 100 % accurate credit information. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report.
