Consumer Complaint: I submitted documents to dispute errors on my credit report due to Identity theft, which included dispute form, FTC Identity theft complaint form, police report and copy of drivers license and social security card which were notarized. I have complained against Trans Union in the past they also have refused to answer call in reference to this issue. I received a letter from them dated XXXX saying that my FTC Identity theft report is invalid because it lacks more information. This is a delay because the documents sent we're specifically mentioning accounts being disputed. This has caused my credit to continue declining as well as my personal finances taking a hit due to their negligence. I sent these items on XXXX certified.

Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to bring to your attention a grave and ongoing issue concerning the inaccuracies and mishandling of my credit information by XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX. Despite my repeated attempts to rectify these errors through all available channels, the situation remains unresolved, and my credit profile continues to suffer as a result. For the past [ duration ], I have been diligently working to correct the inaccuracies on my credit reports. These errors include but are not limited to incorrect personal information, fraudulent derogatory remarks on accounts marked as " Paid, '' and unauthorized accounts listed, notably one from XXXX which I have not authorized or consented to. I have followed all required procedures to dispute these inaccuracies, providing comprehensive documentation to support my claims. Despite this, XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX have failed to take appropriate action within the mandated timeframe, and the erroneous information persists on my credit reports. Furthermore, I have encountered significant obstacles in my attempts to communicate with XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX. Despite multiple phone calls, letters, and even notarized identification documents sent to confirm my identity, they continue to request further verification, unnecessarily prolonging the resolution process. These failures on the part of XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX are not only frustrating but also have severe repercussions on my financial well-being. The presence of inaccurate and unauthorized information on my credit reports affects my ability to access credit, obtain favorable interest rates, and conduct essential financial transactions. I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and take appropriate action to ensure that XXXX, TransUnion, and XXXX fulfill their obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Specifically, I request that they promptly correct the inaccuracies on my credit reports and cease any further delays or requests for unnecessary documentation. Additionally, I wish to emphasize that the inclusion of " Chargeoffs '' on my credit reports is illegal, as consumer reports are not supposed to reflect income. Moreover, the presence of the XXXX account, which was sold to a third party without my permission, is a clear violation of my rights. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that you will take the necessary steps to resolve these issues swiftly. Please do not hesitate to contact me at [ Your Phone Number ] or [ Your Email Address ] if further information is required. Thank you for your assistance in this urgent matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I trust this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the persistent presence of fraudulent items on my credit report, despite my numerous attempts to rectify this situation. The lack of resolution has significantly impacted my financial well-being and caused undue stress. The fraudulent items in question, linked to [ account/reference numbers ], were initially reported to your agency on [ mention the date of your initial report ]. Since then, I have diligently followed your prescribed procedures for disputing fraudulent activity, providing all necessary documentation such as police reports, affidavits, and supporting evidence to substantiate the fraudulent nature of these entries. Despite my multiple attempts to address and correct this issue, each accompanied by cooperation on my part and adherence to your agency 's requirements, the fraudulent items persist on my credit report. I am formally requesting the following actions be taken urgently : A thorough and comprehensive review of the fraudulent items on my credit report to verify their accuracy. The immediate removal of these fraudulent items from my credit report. A written confirmation of the resolution, specifying the date when the fraudulent items were removed. A detailed explanation for the repeated failures to address this matter in previous attempts. An apology for the persistent distress and financial hardship caused by the ongoing presence of fraudulent items on my credit report. I understand that errors can occur, but the continued inclusion of these fraudulent items on my credit report, despite my multiple attempts to rectify the situation, is both distressing and damaging to my financial standing. Failure to address this matter within the exact time frame from the date of this letter may leave me with no alternative but to escalate this issue further, potentially seeking legal remedies or involving relevant regulatory authorities. I sincerely hope it does not come to that, and I trust that your agency will take immediate and decisive action to rectify this issue. I am asking for your assisstance to remove these fraud items in my credit file : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
