Issue: Unable to get your credit report or credit score
Subissue: Other problem getting your report or credit score
Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in regarding to trying to get my free annual report from Transunion. I started in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX trying to access my report via the free annual report website, and also via a third party monitoring service and was told they were unable to retrieve the report. In XX/XX/XXXX I begin to try to access my report directly via Transunion 's website and kept getting an error message saying my request could not be completed. I asked for a hard copy of my report via mail around XX/XX/XXXX. I called on XX/XX/XXXX because I had not received my copy by mail and was told that there is no credit file on record for me. After being hung on at least 3 times, I was then told that there was an error on my file and there were " multiple '' files on record for me and they needed to be combined. So how do I know the information is correction. My call was escalated to a manager by the name of XXXX ( File # XXXX ). She supposedly was submitting a maintenance request to merge all of my files in order to give me on-line access to my report. This is unacceptable to me because I have attempted to apply for various things that require accessing my credit report and have been denied. How do I know my denials were not in reference to incorrect information an/or an outdated credit report. I am not sure if what XXXX does or doesn't do will resolve my issue, but as a consumer I have been denied access to my report for over 60 days. At the end of our conversation she said it would still take XXXX business days for my problem to be corrected. So I am still having to wait another week to see what is on my report, which I am sure is VERY inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: Greetings CFPB team I want to draw your attention to this XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX account with account number XXXX. I have always been an excellent payer of my financial commitments. I have never paid late. This account mentioned above presents a balance of {$550.00} which is false. It also says that it was Charge Off without first having produced a single delay. I have tried everything. I have talked to them, I have disputed the account I don't know how many times. I already have an incredible level of frustration. If you look at my account in the credit report, which I hope you do, you will see what I mentioned. Imagine that the Last Payment Date XX/XX/XXXX is False, the Closed Date is also False, the Balance is False, my Payment History has no delays. The company keeps saying that everything is accurate. This has already affected me, my business and my entire family. I hope you can help me.

Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.
