Consumer Complaint: Im submitting a complaint to you today to inform you I was the victim of identity theft. I researched on how to remove the fraudulent items in my report and found that I need to visit FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION or https : //www.ftc.gov to file a report and Per FCRA section 605b Credit Reporting Agencies are required to remove/block any items listed on an id theft report. Please find the ATTACHED documents to assist in the blocking of the erroneous information which is being posted to my report. Here is the list of items which do not belong to me or were opened without my permission. As a result of this clerical mistake my XXXX XXXX went down XXXX points, from XXXX to XXXX, and I lost access to a wide array of financial products previously available to me. All payments on this credit card have been made and sent by me to XXXX XXXX XXXX in time. In good faith I disputed this issue multiple times with all three credit bureaus asking them to remove erroneous information in my credit file submitted by XXXX XXXX XXXX Despite those attempts, erroneous negative information stayed in all my credit reports. I also sent a letter to XXXX XXXX XXXX explaining the situation and asking them to remove erroneous negative information from credit bureaus. I have never received any answer from XXXX XXXX XXXX I have excellent credit and have never been late with any of my payments. Here I am, respectfully asking CFPB to take into consideration all the matters mentioned above and care for a full investigation. Thank you.
