Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I filed a XXXX complaint with the company XXXX regarding account XXXX. I informed them of incorrect information reporting, and they stated that the consumer reporting agencies may reflect an activity date based on their reporting, but XXXX does not directly report a date of last activity or date last reported. Despite my attempts to resolve this issue directly with your company, the inaccurate reporting persists, prompting me to escalate the matter further. Upon reviewing my credit reports from TransUnion, XXXX, and XXXX, I discovered glaring inconsistencies in the information provided. TransUnion reported a date of last activity as XX/XX/XXXX, while XXXX indicated XX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. These dates are inaccurate and do not align with the actual activity on the account. Additionally, there are discrepancies in the reported high credit limit across all three credit bureaus. Such inconsistencies not only violate the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) but also cast doubt on the accuracy and reliability of the information provided. Furthermore, it has come to my attention that this account was sold to XXXX XXXX, and the balance reported aligns with the correct high balance as reported by XXXX. However, the lack of validation from all XXXX credit reporting agencies has contributed to the discrepancies observed. I must emphasize that this account is past the statute of limitations in the state of Texas and should have been removed after being transferred. The continued reporting of inaccurate information has had a detrimental impact on my creditworthiness and financial standing. As a result, I am requesting the immediate removal of account XXXX from all XXXX credit reports. Failure to rectify this situation promptly XXXX compel me to pursue legal action for gross misconduct and defamation of character. The correct information is below. I will be keeping record of our correspondence for court records. This false reporting not only compromises my creditworthiness but also undermines the integrity of the credit reporting system. See the correct information below and remove this account immediately : Open Date : XX/XX/XXXX Last Payment Date : XX/XX/XXXX Closed Date : XX/XX/XXXX High Balance : {$3000.00}.
