Consumer Complaint: I have reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX and informed them that this account was opened fraudulently and that they needed to remove the account off of my credit report. I then also reported it to the bureaus. They then said sorry it was opened fraudulently and charged it off and closed the account but refuse to remove it off of my account. According to the FCRA 15 US Code 1681eb. I know this is considered a paid debt and they have written it off on their taxes. So therefore it needs to be removed.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted TransUnion multiple times about willfully and unlawfully reporting incorrect information on my credit report. The most recent interaction was by phone on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to agent XXXX XXXX and I was given the reference number XXXX. The reason for my call on this day was to request the immediate removal of an illegally reported account. TransUnion has information LISTED ON THEIR VERY WEBSITE stating the updated FCRA XXXX amendments ( FACT Act ). Federal courts recently have issued rulings about the use of consumer reports for the collection of an account under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). For collectors of delinquent child support debt, judgments, fines, or liens, you must have in hand : A court order authorizing a consumer reporting agency to provide a consumer report, A written authorization from the debtor to obtain a consumer report, or Some type of contractual agreement with the consumer that rises to the level of a credit transaction under law. TransUnion DOES NOT possess any of those examples in relation to my child support account! So, they are in direct violation of this federal consumer law!
