Consumer Complaint: I am filing a complaint against TransUnion due to their failure to respond to a dispute letter that I mailed on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX via USPS certified mail with tracking number XXXX. In my dispute, I requested a thorough investigation into several inaccurate items on my credit report, including XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and a Bankruptcy listing. To assist TransUnion in verifying my identity and address, I diligently included a copy of my photo ID, social security card, and a recent bill displaying my current address. Regrettably, I received a response from TransUnion, dated XXXX, stating : We recently received a request that included your information, but it didn't appear that you or a properly authorized third party sent it to us. We take the privacy and security of your data very seriously, so we won't process requests unless they come directly from you or an authorized third party. This response raises concerns as it suggests a failure on TransUnion 's part to acknowledge the legitimacy of my dispute. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), when a consumer disputes the completeness or accuracy of any information, the credit bureau is obligated to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine the accuracy of the disputed items. It appears that TransUnion has not fulfilled this obligation, resulting in a violation of my consumer rights.

Consumer Complaint: My credit card company XXXX initially charged me an incorrect finance fee, under Law 15USC 1666B those fees were deemed incorrect and I disputed these charges and requested a fee reversal. These fees were refunded as shown on my attached statement. In addition, the company subsequently charged me a LATE FEE of XXXX which too was deemed incorrect and refunded on my attached statement. This issue however is not completed and is showing up INCORRECTLY on my XXXX and TransUnion credit reports. Please note that the statement that my XX/XX/2023 statement was never delivered which also violates 15USC 1666B which states the statement was to be delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the date specified in the statement by which the payment must be made in order to avoid the imposition of that finance charge.
