Consumer Complaint: I reviewed my report and identified inaccuracies. I submitted a letter to XXXX on XX/XX/2024. However, it has been over 35 days, and there has been no response from the credit bureaus. This exceeds the time limit specified in 15 USC 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), indicating a violation. In summary, under 15 USC 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), if a consumer disputes the completeness or accuracy of any information in their consumer file with a consumer reporting agency, the agency must, free of charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation. This process aims to determine the accuracy of the disputed information and update the current status within 30 days of receiving the consumer 's dispute notification. The agency may also delete the disputed item from the file if necessary.

They E_oscar the information " validating '' debt. The issue of whether I had an account was NOT the problem!!! They are ILLEGALLY reporting income. According to 15 USC 1681 ( b ) INCOME IS NOT REPORTABLE!! The I.R.S. clearly defines a CHARGE-OFF as ORDINARY GROSS INCOME!! Reference Title 26 1.6050P-1 12 C.F.R. 1.61-12 I have sent them this information in disputes to no Avail!!! 15 USC 1681n Liability for noncompliance. These companies are securitizing peoples data. SEC I will be filing a 211 report if this isnt fixed immediately
