Consumer Complaint: I am writing to lodge a formal complaint concerning the state of my consumer profile across various credit reporting agencies. The core of my grievance lies in the sloppiness and inconsistency of my credit information, which lacks uniformity and coherence. It has become increasingly frustrating to engage with representatives more focused on adhering to company policies than on following directives issued by Congress. This behavior is unacceptable and needs immediate correction to ensure fairness, accuracy, and respect for consumer privacy as mandated by Congress. 15 U.S. Code 1681 emphasizes the necessity for consumer reporting agencies to execute their significant responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. Furthermore, the law mandates that these agencies adopt reasonable procedures to meet the needs of commerce for consumer information in a manner that is fair and equitable to the consumer, particularly concerning the confidentiality, accuracy, relevancy, and proper utilization of such information. The negligent handling of my credit information by these agencies and the furnishers of this information directly contravenes the stipulations of 15 U.S.C. 1681o and 1681s2, exposing them to civil liability for negligent noncompliance. This includes the prohibition against furnishing any information to consumer reporting agencies with actual knowledge of errors or after having been notified by the consumer of inaccuracies, without taking immediate corrective action. The persistent inaccuracies and the disorganized state of my consumer report not only undermine my financial integrity but also suggest a systemic disregard for the legal requirements designed to protect consumers. This situation has placed an undue burden on me, compelling me to seek the intervention of the CFPB to enforce compliance and ensure that my consumer report reflects accuracy, consistency, and uniformity across all bureaus. I implore the CFPB to investigate these practices and to hold the responsible parties accountable for their negligence, ensuring adherence to the directives from Congress and safeguarding the rights and interests of consumers. For Starters My Name is not consistent across I want it to read XXXX XXXX XXXX its is displayed three different ways amongst TransUnion, XXXX, XXXX .Secondly My Date of birth should say XX/XX/XXXX. It only has XXXX for XXXX. Third my current address Is different accross the board from TransUnion, XXXX, XXXXTransunion didn't abbreviate XXXX correctly XXXX doesn't have my XXXX XXXX number which is XXXX, XXXX has the wrong date when i moved there to my current residence.I moved there in XX/XX/XXXX, not XXXX. Being that the column says current well that date isn't appropriate for that column plus non of the other bureaus have a date displayed. In Previous addresses column It seems Transunion can't Properly abbreviate XXXX again also it was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX they solely put XXXXTransunion again lol cant spell XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXXMy previous residences depicted on my profile are non mail-able addresses plus not all bureaus have the same information. Lastly Transunion again has my local union spelled wrong sheesh. Its Local XXXX use to be XXXX they have XXXXPlus its displayed differently across the board. Solely XXXX XXXX would suffice.I have already removed an address that was dated wrong and inaccurately depicted residence at my last home i will give a before and after. It was removed and i should be compensated for that as well.
