Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of identity theft and fraud. On XXXX 2023, I noticed a company kept appearing on my credit reports, XXXX XXXX. I have never heard of this company and immediately started investigating. I learned that this was a XXXX party lending company for auto loans. I then knew this was fraud and immediately contacted the authorities. I currently have a detective on the case and he updates me on a regular basis. I also learned that this vehicle was repossessed from the individual and that this person also got a DUI in the vehicle. The detective has made out a police report and I also had a legal notarized affidavit done and sent to all XXXX credit bureaus. I also contacted this XXXX XXXX and spoke to their fraud department, and spoke to a XXXX. She stated they would get this matter resolved but it would take 30 days. Since then, I received a letter from TransUnion stating that they came to a resolution of their investigation and that they are in accordance with XXXX XXXX and that I am responsible for this auto loan. This is a nightmare. I want to buy my first home, but now I may not be able to do this. I am also going to submit the FTC Identity Theft Report.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX has derogatory marks on all 3 of my credit scores stating I owe them money. I have no knowledge of even applying for credit with them, I called them to get more info and possibly pay off the debt and they have absolutely no information of me ever even being a customer and have no clue as to why they are on any of my credit reports. They still refuse to remove themselves from the reports.
