Consumer Complaint: Our car was purchased XX/XX/XXXX. Our monthly payment was approximately {$990.00} per month. The car was in an accident and totaled on XX/XX/XXXX. We continued to make payments in XXXX and XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX made a payout of approximately {$40000.00} to TD Auto Financing. I called TD Auto Financing on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to XXXX with TD Auto Finance to make a payment. She told me they had just recieved the payment of approximately 40K and would be calling us to set up a payment plan for the truck after XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX. We also recieved a letter saying if we can not pay after XXXX XXXX to contact to set up a payment plan. I contacted TD Auto Finance three times since since XX/XX/XXXX. The first one was on XXXX, XXXX. The second one was XX/XX/XXXX and the third one was on XX/XX/XXXX. I found out on XX/XX/XXXX TD Auto Finance had a charge off debt sent to our credit report erroniously due to them saying they had not received a payment in 30 days, even though they had recieved the insurance check on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to XXXX with TD Auto to set up a new payment plan and the amount we owed remaining was {$11000.00}. Per my credit report, TD Auto Finance sent my account to collections on XX/XX/XXXX. At no time from the end of XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX did anyone contact me or tell me about being sent to collections. This has made my credit plummet and effected me buying a house due to their negligence.

Consumer Complaint: I went to my local TD Bank branch ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX ) on XX/XX/2020 to deposit {$1000.00} dollars into my checking account. When I input the money into the ATM, the machine showed an error message and printed me a receipt stating that I had an issue with the {$1000.00} dollar deposit and the ATM swallowed the {$1000.00} dollards I deposited. The receipt said to reach out to TD Bank via call. I reached out and provided them the details and the Record number of the dispute. Upon them reviewing the incident, they compiled a review and determined an error did not occur. This money was to pay overdue bills and now I am struggling to find how I can get my money back into my account.

Consumer Complaint: On Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for XXXX XXXX, a program where one is given an installment loan on a XXXX cell phone. When applying you are submitting an application with TD Bank. I submitted my application and knowing my credit score was over 700 I thought I had no problem getting approved. I was then informed to call an XXXX before my application would be approved. I did so and the agent told me that my application was being escalated to another department for approval. I then received a call from TD Bank asking to call back, which I did and I was told they would have to run my credit a second time in order to make a determination. I informed them this would hurt my credit since it would be another " hard pull '' on my credit report, and I did not understand why they needed to do this. I was informed that they had to and they knew it would hurt my credit score but it was required. I have worked very hard to increase my credit score and knew this would negatively affect my score. After again stating I did not understand, they would not agree to proceed. This I think is illegal to pull your credit twice in a row when this negatively affects people 's credit, and for no reason. I also do not understand why XXXX uses TD Bank, when I thought I was applying with them. Another person would agree not knowing and be negatively affected. Either approve the application or deny, but to state they needed to pull the report a second time when it would hurt my FICO score is not acceptable.

Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with TD Bank for over a month. It all started when XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me an e-check for {$7400.00} that belongs to my PPP loan approved by SBA. The funds were held due to a clerical error from XXXX ( not me ) since my name was not on the check. TD bank assigned an investigator, or so they say. This person never called me. I provided all documentation and beyond. Waited for hours over the phone with my local branch manager, the fraud department and customer service as well. TD bank said all was fixed and asked me to visit the local branch to pick up a new debit card and so I did. Next week the account was once again restricted. The bank decided to close my account, but the {$7400.00} are still in a limbo, when they should be with XXXX XXXX XXXX. My personal funds are being held as well. Nobody can tell me when I will have access to my money. The PPP loan funds are not in my account neither with XXXX lender bank. Again, this has been going on for over a month now and nobody can respond to me regarding a timaframe for me to access my money or the loan money. This has caused extra stress on top of the pandemia and my unemployment situation.
