Consumer Complaint: While I was on a work trip in XXXX, FL I lost my wallet, credit and debit cards that were inside it. When I couldn't find it, I thought it was just in my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX rental. Soon thereafter I realized it was indeed lost. There were a couple of scattered fraudulent transactions across my cards. One of the biggest hits was to my target card. My trip was XXXX XXXX XXXX When reporting the issue, they asked how it was possible they could have used the account since it is pin code protected. I had written that on the card as it was different than my other pin numbers. They told me to include that in my report, they would be mailing a form to feel out, so I included that in my report. After I did that, shortly thereafter they sent me the letter attached saying it is valid due to the pin being used. Disregarding the fact that I stated the pin number was written on the card. Conducting no investigations into that matter, that was warranted. Adding back the total disputed amount without a proper inquiry. I sent the attached letter via certified post to the address a representative gave me on the phone if I was not satisfied with their findings, still noting that the agent over my account was currently unavailable. The tracking for said letter is USPS : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Since doing so, no response of any kind, and the agent is not available for calls. When I tried to call prior to the letter, I called and was told she would call be back within 48 hours which never happened.

Consumer Complaint: its a 3rd complain about the closing the mortgage with TD bank 1. We refinance teh mortgage with TD bank on XXXX XXXX. We paid all pay off amount but back in XX/XX/2020 we received a letter from TD bank stating that we own an additional {$5500.00}, It was a school taxes that TD bank paid althiught we refinance we the different bank back in XX/XX/2020. 2. Title company issued a refund in the amount XXXX to TD bank, the check was cleared by TD bank. 3. I, myself. along with the lawer Mr. XXXX XXXX spend 3 month contacting tTD bank, talking to the superviosr explaining that the mortgage is paid off, title company send a proof that TD get a refund for teh taxes paid. 4. We send all proof to TD bank a few times and teh issues was seems to be resolved. 5. When I contacted TD bank I was told that the mortgage hs athe outstanding amount of {$26000.00} as the underpayment of the pay off. The pay off was send to TD bank again, and the issues seems again to be closed. 6. now we are back to original issue of the tax paid in teh amount XXXX. AS I said me, my lawyer and the title compamy were sending the proof that all amount were paid to TD bank. I dont have time or energry to explain again and again to TD bank the issue, its seems that TD bank does not have qualifued personal. Please see attached the documnets as a proof. Its a third complain about teh same issues

Consumer Complaint: I bought a treadmill from XXXX XXXX back around XX/XX/XXXX. I have a XXXX membership I pay monthly to them in the amount of {$41.00} per month. I have set up a automatic payment to them through my bank to be sent on/around the same day every month. Back in XX/XX/XXXX my payment was a few days late due to mail service being behind due to Covid-19. In the result of being late they applied a late payment. I had tried to dispute with no luck. Ever since then my payment of the {$41.00} was sent on time. Ever since XXXX my payment of {$41.00} has been on time but they have every month tacked on another late payment and my bill to date that is passed due is {$330.00} which are all late payments. They sent me to a collection agency TD Retail Card Services back in XX/XX/XXXX and I have sent in 2 dispute letters to them and tried to resolve with no luck.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/21 I received a call from T.D. Bank representative alerting me of charges being debited from my ATM card ending in XXXX. I told the representative that I was not aware of charges and that I did not authorize any charges. As we were speaking representative stated that charges were still going through as we speak, so the TD representative stated that my account has been compromised and he proceeded in trying to set up a new username and password. He sent me a code to my phone for me to respond yes in order to change my username and password. On XX/XX/21 I noticed 28 fraudulent charges from the XXXX XXXX store in the amount of {$15000.00} in which all fraudulent unauthorized charges were all done on the same date XX/XX/21. I immediately called TD Disputes & Claims department on XX/XX/21. They denied my first claim stating that Fraud did not occur. If TD could investigate my banking history for the past 12 months they would see that I do not make any more than 5 transactions in one day if any and that most of my transactions are paying bills. I opened up 2 more Disputes and TD Bank denied all 3 Disputes that I filed, stating " there were no attempts at point of sale ''. There seemed to be a miscommunication when speaking to TD representative over the phone during the first contact and previous contacts with TD representative, when filing my claim, and I am trying very hard to keep my composure during this difficult time in which I am a Victim of Fraud and have a negative balance of {$1500.00} which includes interest and fees that TD, Bank has added to my account. I filed a police report, report # XXXX Officer XXXX, explaining to the Officer that someone had access to my banking information/debit card, and Detective XXXX mentioned that there are many ways that my account could have been compromised ( third party ATM machines, devices that people use to scan your information etc., without you knowing it until it's too late which was the case with me. Please be aware that on XX/XX/21 I spoke to XXXX XXXX and opened up a dispute Claim. According to the attached documents that I sent to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Mr. XXXX entered/added his information on XX/XX/21 and on XX/XX/21 he completed his information. The comments note that Mr. XXXX added on XX/XX/21 is inaccurate, I did not approve any transactions, and in fact, the representative called me on XX/XX/21 and stating that my account was compromised. In the midst of our conversation TD representative was trying to set up a new username and password with me over the phone and texted me a code about two times trying to set up a new username. While we were going through the process, he stated that the new username that I chose was not going through and that it would take 24 hours for the username to go through. He also stated while we were talking that other transactions were going through as we speak and I asked where were these transactions coming from, the representative stated that " it seems as if it's coming from XXXX, Florida, XXXX XXXX, but that he could not tell from his end. When I looked at my account XXXX XX/XX/21, I noticed at least 25 fraudulent unauthorized charges all on XX/XX/21 coming from a XXXX XXXX, in Georgia. There seems to be a huge miscommunication with the representative that I spoke to on XX/XX/21 and the information that T. D. Bank has regarding all 3 claims that I filed stating that according to their investigation, Fraud did not occur. That being said, I am a XXXX XXXX, and I know that if one does not document their notes immediately within 24 hours, certain details may be forgotten, and not documented accurately. I filed a complaint with New York State Attorney Generals Office the letter is dated XX/XX/21, in which they sent me a letter stating that they would forward my information to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I attached documents with NYSAGO. I was encouraged to follow up with CFPB. I also have a legal Aide Senior Staff Attorney, XXXX XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX, Fax, XXXX, assisting me as well from XXXX for XXXX XXXX. Please note I am adding information that was already forwarded to you from the State of New York Office of Attorney General, the file number is XXXX Subject : T.D. Bank, N.A. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter as I need to be cleared of the negative balance and should not be held accountable for funds that were stolen from my account.

Consumer Complaint: I received over mail a pamphlet, with my name to my home address, inviting me to earn {$500.00} when opening a checking and savings account with TD Bank. Given that I didn't receive the bonus in the stipulated time, I first reached out to customer service online, who indicated to go to a branch. I went to a branch last week and was told that they were going to look into my account and reach out to me. I didn't receive any news, and thus I went to the branch again today. The salesperson indicated that he would look into my case again, but that likely the reason that I might not get the bonus is that I had received that bonus in the past. The pamphlet states that one of the conditions to earn that amount is : " Checking offer is not available to existing TD Bank checking Customers or prior Customers who have had a TD Bank personal checking relationship within the preceding 12 months ''. I indeed had a checking account for which I received a bonus and closed the account on XX/XX/XXXX. I opened a new account after receiving this pamphlet in XX/XX/XXXX. I would understand that I wouldn't be eligible for another bonus if the pamphlet stated that someone receiving a bonus in the past would not be eligible for a new one, but it doesn't say that. It only states that I don't have to have a personal checking relationship within the preceding 12 months, which is true. I have complied with all the other conditions stated in the pamphlet.
