Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX Last Four of Social : XXXX Account Number : XXXX Dates of Delinquency : XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019 The consumer is violating my rights under the FCRA to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation and told me via email that they do not have to response to be inquiries regarding the delinquency on my credit profile. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), the FCRA requires consumer reporting agencies ( or CRAs ) to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether disputed information in a consumers file is inaccurate. ( Thomas v. Hyundai Capital Am. ) My inquiries about the delinquencies on my credit profile are not frivolous. I am in disagreement with the items listed below which still appear on my credit report, even after your Investigation. I would like these items immediately re-investigated. These inaccuracies are highly injurious to my credit rating : Account Number : XXXX Dates of Delinquency : XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/XXXX Furthermore, In accordance with The Fair Credit Reporting Act, Public law 91-506, Title VI, Section 611, Subsection A-D, please provide the names and business addresses of each individual with whom you verified the above, so that I may follow up. Please tell me how you verified these items. Who did you talk to at the original credit grantor? Did you write them? Was a UDF form used or was this through electronic automatic dispute verification? Did you contact them at the same address/phone number listed on my report? The FCRA says that you have to tell me this in 15 days if I ask. Don't provide the generic response of how you use various methods. Tell me exactly how you verified them and include the full name of the person you spoke with. Also, what is the date of the commencement of delinquency? The original creditor is required to give that to you. So when is that? And when will this trade-line be past the reporting timeframe? Don't provide the generic " 7 years '' response ; I am aware of that. Tell me specifically when these accounts allegedly became delinquent, and specifically when they will be removed. On this account ( XXXX ) some months are reporting as late with your company but the other two bureaus are reporting something different this means that the account has not been properly verified. Please delete let late payments on the account immediately. Please forward me an updated credit report after you have completed your Investigation and corrections. Your cooperation and prompt attention are greatly appreciated. Best Regards,

Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Account opened as a result of fraud
Consumer Complaint: I am reporting Bank Fraud. I noticed the first fraudulent unauthorized bank account at XXXX XXXX account ending # XXXX. I was told by a branch manager at XXXX XXXX to close the account on line which I did around XX/XX/XXXX. Then again, another new account was opened at XXXX XXXX in early XXXX. Account Ending XXXX physically met with local branch banker XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, at this point a fraud investigation was initiated by XXXX with a case # XXXX. Neither of these two accounts were opened by me or my wife. A new debit card associated with account # XXXX account was also mailed to my home address. I was out of town for a few months, when I returned home on XX/XX/XXXX to our XXXX resident I saw THREE different statements from TD BANK with Account # XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, which we have no association with. I physically met with the local branch manager XXXX XXXX at TD twice since then and closed all three unauthorized accounts that were opened with my SS number and our XXXX address using a XXXX voice phone # XXXX and an email XXXX. I was able to report this fraud to all credit bureaus, and opened a personal account with XXXX. I need you to look into this matter as it is very concerning that the Banks are taking a very light attitude with this serious matter. It is against the law for a Bank to open an account without personal ID. Please respond ASAP to this urgent matter.

Issue: Closing an account
Subissue: Can't close your account
Consumer Complaint: I tried closing my account, in XX/XX/2021 and TD bank said I needed to zero my account. Upon doing so, they stacked transactions in such a way that they could charge an overdraft on me, even if the transactions were clearly in an order that it shouldn't have been. They they prevented me from closing the account again. Upon trying to zero the account, they then charged me monthly fees. I tried to reinstate a balance to avoid monthly fees. Then zeroing account again in XX/XX/XXXX I was again charged an overdraft and was unable to close the account with a negative balance, which was exactly the size of the overdraft. Upon contacting them and trying to close the account again, they did not let me and insist on charging more fees.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in direct response to Nordstroms inability to provide communication on a debt in the amount of {$410.00}. Nordstrom first filed the charged-off account with all three credit bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX. Since the filing, I have made contact with Nordstrom via USPS on the following months : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and recently XX/XX/XXXX. Nordstrom has failed to respond to letters requesting debt verification and has failed to respond to letters inquiring about a debt not associated with me. I hereby now request the assistance of the CFPB to investigate this situation further and find a resolution to this matter.

Issue: Opening an account
Subissue: Didn't receive terms that were advertised
Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with TD on XX/XX/XXXX. They were advertising a new account bonus of {XXXX} if you met the terms of the promotion that was then in effect. Twice I messaged TD to inquire about the bonus, which they never deposited. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, reps from TD confirmed that I was eligible fo the bonus but told me I had to wait 140 days from account opening. On XX/XX/XXXX ( 140 days ) I messaged again, and they told me that I had been excluded from the promotion because I once had a TD account several years ago. I messaged back on XX/XX/XXXX, to remind them of the terms that were advertised when I opened the account. These terms state that the " Checking offer is not available to existing TD Bank checking Customers or prior Customers who have had a TD Bank personal checking relationship within the preceding 12 months '' ( see attached ). I did not have a TD account of TD relationship in the 12 months prior to opening this account. Now ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I have a new message from TD claiming that they didn't pay because I didn't meet their deposit requirements ( I did ). Each time I have messaged them they have moved the goal posts. It seems they will never run out of excuses for not making good on this offer. I'm very frustrated and at this point I'm out of patience.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: After recently signing up for a credit monitoring service, I received notifications that a fraudster has aggressively attempted to open several new accounts in my name. On Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I was emailed an alert advising me of a fraudulent application attempt at another bank. Upon researching further, I have found that several fraudulent credit card applications were previously submitted ; in including a fraudulent application to Nordstrom/TD Bank resulting in fraudulent inquiries on my XXXX credit report from TD Bank . I exhausted all reasonable attempts to contact both TD Bank and XXXX to address the fraudulent inquiries. Both companies have systems set up to create unnecessary obstacles to reaching a live person and have made the process to have the inquiries removed impossible. TD Banks phone system and representatives have done nothing to help, furthering my frustration as a victim of identity theft. I no choice but to submit a request to submit complaints to the CFPB, FTC, and Office of The State Attorney General to have the fraudulent TD Bank inquiry removed from my XXXX Credit report. The dates of the fraudulent TD Bank credit report inquiry is XX/XX/XXXX. If the inquiry is not removed, then my only other option will be to seek legal assistance for damages caused by TD Banks refusal to resolve my issues as a victim of identity theft. This notice of complaint to be filed with the CFPB and FTC as well as the State Attorney Generals office serves as notice of my grievances with TD Bank.
