Consumer Complaint: I have had a savings account with TD Bank for many years. The account balance was {$1200.00}. This money was kept just as savings with very little activity. In XX/XX/2022, I received a paper statement from TD indicating Account Closed, Escheated. I received no advance or warning phone calls or emails or other forms of notification that my account would be closed because of inactivity. I had a similar problem with this account several years ago and went to a local TD branch. At that time TD officials committed to set up the account to have a XXXX deposit periodically made to ensure that the required account activity continued to avoid closure of the account and turning its dollars over to the state. Because of these assurances by TD officials I did not thereafter concern myself with account activity. Nor did TD officials ever contact me to alert me that the terms of its original commitment to me had been altered -- and that I must now assume the burden myself of maintaining regular account activity. My reliances on TD Bank 's assurances led to my account being closed.

Consumer Complaint: I have made several payments to the target red card in the month of XX/XX/XXXX {$60.00} payments and 1 {$30.00} payment. I have been calling since because I got confused and chose the wrong bank and 1 {$60.00} payment did not go through and 1 {$30.00} payment did not go through. Due to those payments not going through they charged me 2 {$29.00} return fee. At this point I will pay those fee because it was my error on my part, but the balance was {$210.00} since XXXX before the return payments and it does not change. I have also made another {$40.00} payment in the month of XXXX but the balance does not change. I have been calling target customer service to resolve the issue and all they do is keep transferring me to different departments and place me on hold for a long time to only hang the phone up. Today I spoke to someone that said the reason why my balance is not changing is because I had to pay the full balance every month and since I didnt my balance is correct but the {$200.00} that I have paid have not been deducted from the balance and it still shows I owe {$210.00}. Target customer service have not done anything for me at all. I have spent 40 minutes to an hour on every call I have made and I have called about 7 times in the last 2 months. They also tell me when I call they see no notes being recorded so they make it seem like I have not call at all. Please help me all I want to do is pay for the balance that is actually due and get it over with. I also would like to mention that out of frustration I closed the target red card 1 month ago.

Consumer Complaint: informed of a business opportunity that involved spending money to make money provided my debit card info and pin to go about the methods. with that information i provided they were able to forge a fraudulent check into my bank acct. not really knowing whats going on i kept getting told to do XXXX XXXX and XXXX orders and while doing so i had checked my acct info and at the same time money orders were being processed. i eventually blocked my acct and informed my bank as soon as i understood what was going on but it was too late. money orders XXXX and XXXX XXXX went through. and my bank says i owe XXXX do to giving access to my acct. TD bank will not provide documentation. and informed they will not be conducting any business with me and wont return my regular direct deposit check.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022, I disputed {$900.00} in total charges to merchant XXXX paid with my debit card. TD Bank requested additional information, which I provided to them in writing, by email, and by the date specified. Prior to emailing them this information, I went into their XXXX branch with my documentation and they were unable to fax it to the claims dept due to technical issues. Following this, they erroneously reversed my credits claiming they never received the additional information from me, charged me erroneous overdraft fees, and made my account negative. Since then, I filed numerous complaints with the CFPB under my other email account, XXXX. and uploaded proof that they received the information, and uploaded the requested information. On XX/XX/2022, TD Bank, once again, reversed the credits, causing my account to be negative and charged me erroneous overdraft fees. Yet, on XX/XX/2022 they sent me a letter stating my credits were final, but have failed to credit my account. TD 's actions have caused me substantial injuries. They have wrongfully withheld my money for five months, despite my makjng numerous complaints through CFPB, to their escalation team, and their legal dept, which has all been in writing. They have prevented me from paying my living expenses and XXXX related expenses. This has ccausedme severe XXXX XXXX. They have ignored my repeated reasonable accommodation requests for them to fix this problem, which I most recently made on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I submitted both requests in writing to their branch which were completely ignored.

Consumer Complaint: 3rd request Target received a check and cashed it. Someone tell me where the funds are. When I call Target will not speak to me. Ive logged hours and at this point its mental distress, emotional distress and financial distress. This dispute has 2 parts Original account is mine however fraudulent activity occurred as I experienced Identity there. I went through the fraud process with target when it happened. The account sat dormant until recent on my credit. I dont owe it HOWEVER I PAID IT. Again I PAID IT. Attaching a front and back copy of the cashed check. Where is my money. Why are you reporting charge offs after it was paid. Per XXXXn the reporting was suppressed then reporting began XXXX of this year. I request someone call me as Ive did all I can do on my own and I am fully prepared to file suit and go to the media as this is rediculous. Someone is half doing there job and its going to cost you if someone doesnt make an effort to resolve with me and that can be a phone call. This impacts, reg b, fcra, fdcpa, ftc as a fraud case was filed, Ive sent fraud forms and police report showing the identity AND I PAID EVEN THOUGH I DO NOT OWE IT AND NO ONE WILL RESEARCH THE PAYMENT. FINAL ATTEMP TO RESIDE BEFORE HIRING LEGAL COUNSEL AND I WILL ASK TARGET TO REIMBURSE LEGAL FEES.

Consumer Complaint: I changed bank accounts, so I updated my autopay online, however the system used my old bank account instead. This happened twice, and when I finally talked to someone, they said that I should turn auto pay off, make a manual payment, and then wait for that to post before setting it up again with my new bank account. Now my autopayments do not increase my available credit for over TWO WEEKS. When I messaged them online about it last month, they said they had to have a conference call with my bank to verify that the payment posted. They finally updated my available credit after I complained last month, but they did the same thing this month. So I called. And they said it was because I had a returned payment in the last year, so that they only way that I can get my available credit adjusted is to have a conference call with my bank. WHAT? It was their system 's fault that I had a return payment, and not only did I have to pay a fee for that, now they won't updated my available credit in a timely manner? The rest of the world can verify payments and post them in at least a couple of business days if not immediately, and the payment is processed out of my bank on my autopay date, but TD can't verify that it isn't returned for TWO WEEKS? What century is your company operating in?

Background : On XX/XX/XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), airline tickets relating to XXXX Trip were purchased on XXXX amount totaling in {$720.00}, these included 2 adult tickets and 2 child tickets ( XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX ). In addition, on XX/XX/XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) there was 4 additional airline tickets purchased in the amount of {$590.00} each or {$2300.00} total XXXX XXXX XXXX to XXXX airport ). The total loss that my credit card company ( TD XXXX XXXX ) denied equaled in the amount of {$3100.00} ( XXXX ). Now, due to the war outbreak between XXXX & XXXX, it was in the best interest of my family to get these tickets refunded as we know XXXX is located in XXXX which is also where XXXX and XXXX are located, it was an unsafe environment to place my family there and would be foolish to do so. Upon contacting the original company ( XXXX ), and even my credit card company with additional efforts since, were unsuccessful, even though " flexible '' option on the airline tickets were purchased. Each attempt at contact has been given run arounds with no resolution in sight. The TD Bank case numbers that were opened for Fraud/Return of money include : XXXX XXXX I am looking for a fair and swift resolution to refund the amount of {$3100.00} because this would be the just option for an American citizen, looking to receive only the amount I have been unsuccessful in returning to my account from both the vendor ( XXXX ) as well as my credit card company ( TD VISA ).

Consumer Complaint: DO NOT CLOSE THIS COMPLAINT. It is not a duplicate and was not requested by anyone other than me, XXXX XXXX. I received a letter from the CFPB stating complaint XXXX, XXXX and XXXX were closed because someone other than me requested it. That is incorrect so Im resubmitting this complaint. The credit card company has reported utilization on my consumer report to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX without my permission. They also never notified me in writing that they were going to do this. This has caused me severe financial and mental distress. Now I'm unable to obtain personal and business credit. I'm unable to pay my bills and currently have no income. I attempted to get them to remove the unauthorized information but they ignored my request.
