Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: You never received your bill or did not know a payment was due
Consumer Complaint: TD Bank reduced the credit line without sending prior notice, a letter arrived explaining the action they took afterwards, the credit limit was XXXX they reduced it to XXXX in this way the card appeared completely full, this affected my credit, the payments for this card have always been on time, we could not go online to see the statement because we are XXXX and we were XXXX, the amount of the card for that month had changed, we did not notice it, we paid the same amount from the card previous month, the TD Bank system said that there was no payment received, we tried to call but the call system was not very accessible, immediately we noticed what happened we sent the money that completed the payment plus the late fee, all this happened because it is more favorable for us to receive the statement in the mail, when we explained the situation to TD Bank in writing, they did nothing to resolve this situation.

Consumer Complaint: The bank charged me over {$1500.00} in overdrafts fees and only refunded some. This a complaint for discrimination on the basis of National origin and Ethnicity. Please refer to the appropriate agency. I am writing to make a discrimination complaint complaint against ( TD bank ) regarding an excessive numbers of fees were applied to.my accounts. About two months ago, the bank changed their overdraft fee policy. The bank, however, refuded to apply this new policy to my accounts. I have spent reasonable efforts to have the bank ( apply the new policy ) and rebate the numerous and excessive fees. I would like to have all fees rebated for financial hardship. I can't afford to lose such amount.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Card opened as result of identity theft or fraud
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 my name, phone number and social security number were used to fill out a target red card credit card. I contacted Target and they informed me that my a different address and email from mine were used but couldn't inform me what was used due to security reasons. They did not process the card and will be putting in a request to take off the hard inquiry applied to my credit report due to fraud. So no money was taken from me or used on my credit by any means yet. Just a hard inquiry was added to my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I called TD Bank Fraud department regarding a denied charge on my credit account. During the verification process the customer service rep ask me for my Social Security number. She said that she needed the full social security number. I hesitated but she said she is with the fraud department and requires that I give her my social security number. I gave her my social security number and my Credit card information. SHe reversed the denial on my credit card and transaction went through. Later, I called back TD bank because of my anxiety with her demanding my full Social Security number. When I spoke with the customer service rep she stated that TD Bank 's policy is to ask for the last 4 digits of the social security number and she didn't see any notes on the account regarding my previous phone call to the fraud department.. Now I very upset over this and she said TD Bank will have a supervisor contact me. Several days later a supervisor called me, however she said there isn't much she can do because there are no notes on the account.
