Consumer Complaint: in XX/XX/XXXX a payment was returned to synchrony bank from my bank hope credit union on XXXX the XXXX i corrected the problem i used my walmart debit card ending in XXXX to pay XXXX for the XXXX payment. my account with synchrony bank has always been set up as a ACH payment for years under XXXX XXXX XXXX account ending in XXXX when i called in on XXXX it was to make a one time ACH payment using my walmart green dot visa card ending in XXXX that is what i stated to the customer service person that this will be a one time ACH FOR XXXX which means they would continue to take the monthly payment from account ending in XXXX i told the customer service person that the reason i was using my walmart debit card is because they money is not in the regular account at that time. well thats when as far as i can tell everything went to XXXX. the customer service lady put the card in as where synchony bank should be getting all of their monthly payments from i did not tell her to change my information i did not tell her to remove any information she did that on her on. i recieved a call from synchrony saying the have not been getting their payments i called my bank while the customer service person was on the phone i asked my bank why were they not giving synchrony there payments my bank said because they have not been requesting any money in checking the info the customer service person said account ending in XXXX i asked her why would she try to take money from that account when i already have reaccuring payments coming from account XXXX she said in XXXX i changed the infomation to account ending in XXXX i told no i did not .she said i had the old information removed and added the new and that is a lie when changing information she had to read me different documents and i have to agree to allow synchrony to get monthly payments and no one read or ask me that i was only read a disclosure to allow them to take one payment for XXXX from account ending in XXXX i have called synchrony over 15 time trying to correct this issue they have put a 30 day and a 60 day late on my credit report for something their customer service person did wrong they have charged me XXXX to bring my account out of delinquency. which is different then what my credit report say i was told after calling and making 3 different disputes with synchrony that they would pull the calls and get back with me and it might take 30 days i was sent a letter that stated they contacted the credit agencies for them to correct the information but it still not corrected i did a dispute with XXXX and they removed the 60 days late but left the 30 days late i am asking synchrony to honor the letter that shows the review in my favor thats dated XX/XX/XXXX i will be uploading u that letter also i recieved a letter from synchrony bank stating that i did 2 ACH PAYMENTS FOR XXXX and one of them was returned thats a lie once again their customer service person did something wrong and its being blamed on me by synchrony. i called synchrony bank on XX/XX/XXXX to make a payment to stop the delinquency that was wrongfully being put on my credit report i did not put the information into their computer their customer service person put the information and she had to have done it wrong once again because i recieved a letter stating that my ACH for XXXX was reversed i called them and ask them what were they talking about they said that they did get one of the XXXX but the second one was reversed and i got very mad and said what are u talking about two ACH for XXXX why would i pay u two my purpose was to stop the negative information that they were putting on my credit report. on XX/XX/XXXX i talked to a guy name XXXX i told him i was calling for the XXXX time trying to correct their wrong with charging me with all the fees and the negative that they put on my credit report XXXX said that they would pull all calls from XXXX until now i asked him was by law i am allowed to have a transcript of the calls in writting and he said no well i feel that no one is policing those calls and they can say anything they want since they were the ones listening to their own calls just like the letter i recieved showing in my favor but they still have the negative info on my credit report i was told by XXXX that synchrony can charge me any fees they want to charge me and that i would never be believed by anyone cause i have to have all these dates all these names if not i will not win aganist synhrony well i say if everything is recorded then why would i need all that which shows me that they mistreat and lies on their customers cause the recording will show who the liar is.

I always double-check every payment before I submit it and I authorized the usual {$17.00} amount. Someone on the banks end went in and changed it and took {$570.00} instead! When I called the company they claimed they could do nothing except send a check in XXXX weeks! If they can take it electronically they can put it back electronically! They ripped me off!

Consumer Complaint: I recently file a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau on XX/XX/2021 against XXXX XXXX XXXX. At this time i request a cease of all written and oral communications and gave a list of violations under Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. At which stated each violation is XXXX 15 usc 1692k ( a ) ( 2 ) ( a ) and to verify this alleged debt 15 usc 1692g. XXXX XXXX XXXX did not remove collections while in dispute from my consumer file with the credit reporting agencies under Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 usc 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ). I was sent a summons though the mail in XXXX that I was being sued in civil court in XXXX and another statement for payment which their main offices are located in virginia which is a violation per federal law to sue someone in another state. Which is violation of previous agreement from response to cfpb and a letter was sent to me though mail to cease all communications 15 usc 1962c ( c ) and 15 usc 1692c ( c ) ( 1 ).

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I signed up for an online business training program for {$2000.00} onetime payment or a {$2400.00} XXXX time payment with a guaranteed result to either earning our investment back within XXXX weeks or receive a refund. The only condition for such a guarantee was participation in the program. Many impressive stats and testimonials were presented to convince the would be participants of the the workability of the program through a big promotional push toward a once a year opportunity that was about to expire. Proximately XXXX people signed up starting in the XXXX of 2021 consisting of many seniors and low-income people who were lured into paying for a big pie in the sky that were not delivered. After the presale push and the start of the program many hoops and conditions were gradually introduced into their well-oiled deceptive psychology of marketing that we were not aware of before signing up ; conditions and requirements that if they were openly revealed to us before signing up we would have never participated. Currently many of the " helpless participant '' are left with an empty bag full of nothing but lots of hype filled with a bombardment of hallow ideas of online money-marketing ideas. I have prepared a document regarding this case and have submitted to PayPal Credit, which is managed by Synchrony Bank. I have followed up with MANY phone calls and they have badly handled my claim, through a series of employees ' errors, but also reversing their decision after resolving it in my favor giving me no logical answers for doing so. It appears that my XXXX GB attached document to Synchrony Bank has not been carefully reviewed to detect the fraudulent practice of " Live Your Massage '' as a company and return my funds back to my account. My complaint is about " Live Your Message '' as well as the Synchrony Bank known more as PayPal Credit. My attached file- if reviewed properly- is a document that will win with hands down in a court of law.

Consumer Complaint: This is the closest thing. This bank uses Posting Date and Transaction Date synonymously. When pulling the transaction history, I can not tell what has already been paid, and what has not. When I tabulate each month 's expenses, the sum of the transactions viewed are always less that the " current account balance '' usually by a couple hundred bucks. This is due to them posting charges that are back dated into the previous month. I have had 2 phone calls and 3 online chats with them since opening the card in XX/XX/2020. Each time I offer to explain this to their technical team if they have any questions. I get told that someone will escalate. And that's where it ends. While I can not prove anything shady, the backdating practice does not allow me to feel confident in the bills they are telling me to pay. This is also the fist bank that I have seen backdate the posting date of the charge to the transaction date.

It is dated XXXX I do not have a XXXX credit card. I never opened a XXXX credit card. I have never used XXXX I do not have or have ever used the XXXX app. I tried to call the number on the bill XXXX. No one answers, even after being on hold for almost 2 hours. Consumer Complaint: This complaint is lodged against Synchrony Bank. Over the past XXXX weeks, Synchrony has cancelled XXXX credit accounts ( Care Credit {$3000.00} limit/ no balance, and Matress Firm {$4500.00} limit/ no blance ), have lowered my credit limits on XXXX cards ( XXXX from {$1000.00} to {$250.00} and XXXX XXXX credit card from {$800.00} limit to {$250.00} ). All of these accounts were current, and had no missed payments. Synchrony sent me letters identifying why they did what they did. This kind of actions hurt consumers by decreasing their available credit, and increasing their Credit Useage % on their credit reports. I do not have a record of missed payments on any of my credit reports or accounts that are " derogatory ''. Synchrony 's justifications basically boiled down to not paying down enough on my XXXX XXXX mortgage ( refianced in 2021, and too many inquiries on my credit report. They pulled this information from XXXX. My credit score has since taken a hit from XXXX down to XXXX +/- based on the loss of these accounts. I have XXXX other accounts with Synchrony, and am worried they are going to do the same thing to those accounts " based on a review '' of accounts.

Consumer Complaint: My credit report showed a 60 day late payment from Synchrony Bank. I called them to report the problem and explained that their account which is PayPal Credit is only accessible through PayPal ( a completely different company ) that was closed. I was sure that since PayPal was closed PayPal credit would send me statements so I can pay. I never received statements since XXXX/2021. I accidentally checked my credit report and discovered a 60 day late payment. I called Synchrony Bank ( servicer for PayPal credit ) and found out that the address they had on file for me was an unknown address. I immediately paid the past due payments and asked them to investigate and remove the late payment reporting. They assured me that they removed the late payment fees and that their credit disputes department will investigate and remove the late payment reporting and would provide a letter confirming that to my correct address. I checked my credit report in a few weeks and saw that the negative reporting changed from 60 to 30 days late.
