Issue: Advertising and marketing, including promotional offers
Subissue: Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX XXXX. I have an account of Amazon Credit Card ( Store Credit Card ), I have always purchased amount on 6 Months Promotional offers ( {$150.00} or above ) or 6 Months Equal Payment Financing ( {$150.00} or above ) and 12 months promotional offers ( {$490.00} or above ), and I am paying off all my promotional balance before expiration and never let anything left but still unpaid regular {$540.00}. My first question, how my regular balance came out too much on my statement, when I am purchasing everything on promotion, Synchrony Bank have no answer, XXXX splitting transactions and posting it on Synchrony Bank less than {$150.00} and Synchrony Back system understands that items are purchased less than {$150.00}. Synchrony Bank have glitch in their system and applying interest on transaction which is posted in categories or splitting amounts. I never purchase anything {$150.00} but XXXX posting it separately and causing system to put interest on every transaction. Kindly fix it. This is completely fraud.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: I am receiving repeated phone calls weekly by the debt collection company stating that I owe money on the furniture I purchased roughly two years ago. I have explained to the debt collector that most of my furniture was paid in cash and some of it was financed on the credit card the furniture store had issued. we have sent the statements reflecting the payoff of the credit card. the debt collector in return sent me a itemized list of the furniture but fails to show any proof of what exactly is that we owe money for? I have paid of the credit card the furniture was purchased from and why am I being reached out by a collection ageny after two years of the purchase? why did Ashley furniture not contact us in the past two years? I am 100 % certain my debt if paid in full and if its not I will like the debt collector and Ashley furniture to provide proof of what exactly it is that I owe the money for. not just a phone call stating I Owe money but not knowing what for.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I have several inquiries on my credit report that should be removed because I do not recognize the creditors and I did not apply to receive a loan, credit card, or anything else with them. I recently have gotten an overload of spammy emails and phone calls about loans, winning cash prizes, etc. I also have reported with my credit card companies fraudulent charges on my accounts and have since gotten all new account and card numbers. On my XXXX credit report there are 3 inquiries that need to be removed : - XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( have called them and keep getting put on hold - nothing resolved ) -SYNCB XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( have not heard back, nothing resolved ) -XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( I only applied for 1 car lease directly through the dealership... this is not the dealership. I have no idea what this is and it definitely was not authorized. ) On my XXXX credit report the following inquiries are fraudulent and should be removed : XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ( I have a vehicle I lease already. I definitely did not apply for an auto loan. This is fraudulent. Have not heard back from them. ) -XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX This is a used auto dealer. I leased a new XXXX. No idea what this is. Can't get ahold of them. ) Lastly, XXXX XXXX keeps charging me late payments on my student loans when I have an extension for several more months now, legally in accordance with a federal bill signed. I have explained this to them and have asked them to stop reporting the account late because it's illegal and I made it known that my account should reflect my promise to pay, and that the late payments are being unnecessarily and falsely reported. No response. They have terrible ratings on the XXXX for similar instances with other individuals. I would like a letter of deletion from them to the bureaus, but no luck so far.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I have multiple XXXX XXXX Accounts with Synchrony bank. We have a flawless payment history with them as well. They are have started repeatedly reducing out credit lines therein increasing our total usage percentage on our reports which results in a lowered credit score. We pay everyone on time and have a flawless credit history. Synchrony banks practices, without cause have been the number one reason we have seen reductions in our credit scores and they continue to do this and then use the reductions they caused to our credit scores as the reason to then do it again. This is absolutely ridiculous to people who pay every bill on time. Furthermore, the " algorithms '' that this bank and reporting agencies use are clearly designed to set up the consumer for failure. This is so unfair to people who pay ALL of their bills on time. After all, isn't that what credit is all about???? We ask that Synchrony bank restore our credit lines to their highest limits and Stop this ridiculous practice.
