Consumer Complaint: I have 2 Sams Card/Synchrony Accounts and I have a letter stating that on XX/XX/XXXX they tried to contact me wanting me to register for electronic statements and I refused on XX/XX/XXXX I get email from both accounts saying its overdue I am a XXXX and old fashioned and like my Statements mailed to me both accounts were past due as of XX/XX/XXXX I have never been late in fact always early one account ends in # XXXX and # XXXX Issuer is Synchrony Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX I paid bill over phone as soon as I got email also I tried to pay 2 times in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ar XXXX and was told they could not process payments there I was upset and when I tried to go online it would not take payment I feel I am being victimized because they charge late fees I am on a very limited budget. I paid and {$72.00} XXXX and {$71.00} on account the operator said it was not his department or power to erase late fee This is about the XXXX credit card company that pulled same stunt Another Synchrony Bank Care credit card XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Fl XXXX I have not used for long time and I used it and got bill sent to old address and it was forwarded in person the day it was due account # ends in XXXX XXXX XXXX when I made payment they updated address it was never done but all my accounts at Synchrony changed? again late fee I need help Thank you XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Have had a TJ Maxx-Synchrony Bank credit card account for over 20 years. Since the middle to end of XXXX there has been a problem with Synchrony Bank receiving mailed payments in a timely manner even though payments have been sent at least 1 week in advance of due date. The first late payment was resolved in XXXX XXXX as they reversed the late charge and finance charge. At that time I moved up the time of the mailing of my payments to approximately 2 weeks which is about 1 week after receiving the bill from Synchrony. For the XX/XX/XXXX bill I was charged another late fee and finance charge. The total of the XXXX bill was approximately {$4100.00}. The previous balance was {$2100.00} and was not received even though sent in timely manner. I put a stop order on {$2100.00} check and reissued and sent certified mail. That check was received XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I sent current balance check approximately XXXX XXXX, XXXX. That check was posted on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Synchrony applied an additional late fee and finance charge since they stated it was due XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Called Synchrony and agent said they couldn't reverse charges since their computer system wouldn't allow her to do it. I have filed a complaint with Synchrony Bank and NY State as Synchrony continues to charge late fees and finance charges on a disputed amount/charge. I have since cancelled my Synchrony card as of XX/XX/XXXX and closed the account. Synchrony has provided a letter to that extent. Am looking for Synchrony to reverse the bogus charges.

Consumer Complaint: I had 2 transactions in XX/XX/XXXX. For both for same merchant for {$3000.00} and {$2000.00} for a life time services of trading classes. The company got sued in XXXX and they were waiving some fee. I wrote them email inquiring about how its going to work and they said your framing debt has been closed and you do not have the services anymore. I had already paid XXXX in total and was only XXXX remaining. I try to reach them back to figure out if they are going to refund all the other charges and gotten no response. I told my credit company for a dispute since now its a fraudulent charge. The credit company did not get a respond from a merchant and did not help me. It was synchrony bank issued credit card called XXXX XXXX Managers name was XXXX he refused to give me his last name and was extremely unprofessional.

Consumer Complaint: Over the past 6 months have contacted TJMaxx credit card multiple times to resolve under payment on billing statement. Reset online bill payment and billing cycle as was told this would resolve the problem but has not. Account has been set to pay STATEMENT balance prior to due date but continues to only draft minimum payment therefore leaving an ongoing balance subject to interest & fees. Want the balance of {$75.00} balance waived and card closed immediately as this is clearly a deceptive practice and isnt being resolved by TJ Maxx. Have statements and online bill pay history if needed as evidence.

Consumer Complaint: I hace contacted Synchrony, who manages the Amazon Store Card, 3 times to address the miss-allocation of payments to deferred interest charges BEFORE the regular balance that is being charged interest. The first two times, they admitted the error, re-allocated the payments, and refunded the interest. The last time, which was on XX/XX/XXXX, the customer service agent acknowledge no wrong-doing and that they could not refund the interest that was charged due to allocating my payment to charges with deferred interest instead of the regular balance. This has gone on for months now. Synchrony refused to address the issue, which as I understand it, violates the Credit CARD Act of XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Old Navy credit card keeps falsely charging me interest on statement balances that are paid not only in *full* but exceed the payment balance due and have deposits made toward the next monthly statement as well. I started realizing this so I've paid the credit card off in full and still have been hit with fraudulent interest charges. I contacted the credit card company to complain over the phone and online and they either were not helpful or were of very little help. In one conversation, when I told the representative that the interest charges I was charged were false and I wanted them removed -- they told me I would have to call back at a later date because they couldn't do anything about the charges. This made no sense to me as its their job to fix these things. They claimed they record phone calls, so maybe they'll have the conversation as evidence of their continued fraud. I don't know how far back they've been falsely charging me. I think this has been going on for a long time. I learned about this from another old navy credit card customer. They asked me if I had been checking my interest rates because they were getting continually charged false interest charges, so I started paying my balances in full and monitoring mine, and sure enough... Fraudulent interest charges. They need to be stopped. They are stealing from families. It's criminal.
