Consumer Complaint: Applied on XX/XX/2022 and hard inquiry shows on XX/XX/2022. Associate at store said I would receive a letter in the mail as I was not immediately approved nor denied, they just need more verification information. I received a letter on XX/XX/2022 dated XX/XX/2022 stating they needed to verify my identity and to call ( XXXX ) XXXX and so I did. I verified myself was told congratulations as I was approved. Then immediately received an email about another hard inquiry by this same creditor on XX/XX/2022. I immediately called Synchrony Bank at the previous number and they told me it would not have been another hard inquiry. I advised I was looking right at my credit report and it showed XXXX hard inquiries on XXXX XXXX for the same thing. They told me to contact XXXX XXXX and they would correct it. Called XXXX XXXX at XXXX and they pretended not to be able to hear me and hung up. Therefore I am reaching out to CFPB to remove the XXXX hard inquiry from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I was approved for a store credit card with three furniture companies ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX ). All three credit cards are unwritten by Synchrony Bank. However, because I applied for three cards and approve on the same day, it trigger a fraud alert. Synchrony had required I provide : a copy of my driver 's license, utility bill, and a copy of the lease ( which I did - five times ). After receiving my documentation, they closed all three accounts and refused to reopen them. I contacted their corporate office, and no specific reason was given. It should be noted that I gave away all my furniture the day after I was approved for these credit cards because I was going to buy new furniture for a home I just purchased. Now I don't have any furniture because of this issue. Because Synchrony Bank backs these furniture companies, I can not apply for a store credit card.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank, Formerly GE Capital Retail Bank, keeps lowering my credit limit on my XXXX XXXX store card. This card is the only card that keeps lowing my credit limit. By lowering my credit limit they are hurting my credit score, this is effecting my available credit ratio, and decreasing my purchasing power. I also have not received my last two statements. I've talked with Synchrony Bank about this. I've talked to my local XXXX XXXX store manager about this issue multiple times. He tells me there is nothing he can do.

Consumer Complaint: It makes no sense that by the time you add your pictures you're logged out and have to start all over. The Consumer Protection Bureau should automatically save a complaint you start instead of having a person start all over. I always try to resolve issues with companies before filing any consumer complaints. My credit have been ruined because of these 5 companies. I'll be filing 5 consumer complaints on 5 different companies that have reported FALSE information to the Credit Bureaus. My credit score have dropped over 100 points within 30 days due to these companies. The Credit Bureaus allow companies to report anything including FALSE information without allowingvthe customer to fix it before they report it. Therefore i'll be also filing a consumer complaint against all 3 Credit Bureaus with the Attorney General 's Office. I have a Care Credit Card with Synchrony Bank. I was very embarassed when i was due to have a much needed XXXX XXXXXXXX in which if i don't have this XXXX it could XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and i could die. O was also embarassed when i couldn't get my kids much needed medical things for my XXXX XXXX Child and my XXXX Child. Synchrony Bank lowered my credit limit from {$970.00} to {$230.00} which makes the card not worth having if you're financing anything. I called Synchrony Bank to ask why they lowered my credit limit only to laughed at by one of their Sarcastic employees. Even when i told Synchrony Bank i was a victim of recent Identity Theft they still kept my credit limit lowered preventing me from having much needed dental needs and medical things for my children who have XXXX XXXX as well that our insurance doesn't cover. Synchrony Bank only told me after the fact they lowered it that my credit limit was lowered. Lowering my credit score caused my credit score to drop as well as increase my usage which i kept at 30 % or lower.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I was informed that Synchrony Bank filed a lawsuit against me. I am currently working with a Debt Consolidation company, and Legal Team who I have given POA to work with Synchrony and try and settle the debt. Synchrony has made no good faith efforts to work with my representation, instead, they file a lawsuit. Their current approach seems to deceptive and malicious, when I am trying to settle with them, and they are using the courts to get around a settlement and add more fees to me. This all seems to be blatant unfair and deceptive practices. I am looking to your agency to please help me as a consumer. Thank you for your help and time.
