Issue: Other transaction problem
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 a money transfer in the amount of {$320.00} was made from my PayPal account and sent to a private person In Error. The error was made when a telephone number was inadvertently transposed during the transaction. My account has been carrying this incorrect balance since that time. Attempts to get the balance corrected and debit the recipient of the transfer has thus far been unsuccessful. I have made telephone calls to PayPal and sent certified mail to Synchrony Bank ( PayPal banker ) and to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. That office has assigned Case # XXXX to the matter and has informed me that they have forwarded my certified letter providing all of the details to you. Their letter to me is dated XX/XX/2022. I look forward to resolving this matter so that I may receive my funds returned. The person is not a merchant, vendor or to my knowledge engaged in any kind of a business and I did not receive any goods or services from that person. Further the transaction was not a gift.

Consumer Complaint: Greetings, I have been struggling for months with an identity theft in which I have made thousands of steps and I still have not found someone to help me properly. I notified all the relevant agencies including the FBI, I keep trying to get SYNCRONIX bank to delete an account that I have not authorized to open and they want to charge me and they even sent me the card with the information they asked me for when I called to report That account did not belong to me. My credit score is still affected by this whole situation. I have my own business and it has affected me greatly since my accounts are all up to date and because of this situation I have my credit for the flat. I hope you can help me. I don't know English, but if you write to me I can translate on a page. This is a nightmare and everything is in English.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I ordered electric bikes totaling {$2800.00} on XX/XX/21. By late XXXX I could see the merchant was not going to send me the bikes. I disputed the charge on my Synchrony Bank XXXX XXXX Mastercard. Due to an error on the amount I indicated in the dispute, Synchrony Bank credited my account {$300.00} on XX/XX/21. I re-filed the dispute on XX/XX/21 with the correct amount of {$2800.00}. On XX/XX/21, my account was credited {$2800.00}. The very next day, XX/XX/21, Synchrony Bank RE-CHARGED my account {$2800.00}. I have submitted a total of FIVE DISPUTES on this issue. Each time Synchrony Bank responds by telling me that they credited my account {$2800.00} on XX/XX/21. Each time I submit another dispute confirming that fact but pointing out that they then recharged my account in the amount of {$2800.00} the very next day, XX/XX/21. I have copies of the statements showing the initial charge as well as the XXXX statement showing the {$2800.00} credit and the {$2800.00} re-charge the next day as well as copies of all letters and documentation I have been sending Synchrony Bank for almost one year trying to resolve this issue. I have attached my latest letter of frustration to Synchrony Bank as well as copies of my statement showing the purchase on XX/XX/21 and the XXXX statement showing the {$2800.00} credit on XX/XX/21 and the {$2800.00} recharge on XX/XX/21.
