Consumer Complaint: I had a line of credit with care credit through Synchrony bank. That line if credit was paid off in full and the account was closed. Approximately one year later, Synchrony bank sent me an email for a past due amount. I called them and explained that my account was paid off in full and closed. Synchrony bank informed me that they will take care of the problem and close my account. About a month ago I started receiving more emails from them for a a past due account. I emailed them stating that was not my account. Even though I received a response, I still kept getting calls. I called them back again and explained the situation, and was told for a third time that the problem will be taken care of. Now they put a delinquent account notice on my credit report.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: This credit card was set up while I was working with the furniture store that sold the policies on behalf of the company so I am very familiar with how they were marketed. This was to be a 6 month- no interest payments that were to be in addition to another plan for no interest over 3 years. Both were marketed as " make the minimum required payment that we set up and it will be written off after X months ''. I have now made payments for over 5 years with XXXX 's charged in interest and a balance of XXXX on my account. While disputing this, I have been charged multiple late fees and had a late payment reported on my credit. I want my money and the report fixed. XXXX XXXX called filed complaint regarding excessive interest being charged on account after making required payments. Told they would reach out if they had any questions but to wait up to 3 business days. XXXX XXXX called and was told complaint wasn't filed because my address needed updated. I updated address and again filed complaint regarding excessive interest being charged on account after making required payments. Told they would reach out if they had any questions but to wait up to 3 business days. XXXX XXXX called and escalated up to highest level and was promised call back. No call back was received as of XX/XX/XXXX. Multiple representatives now claim that the interest was valid because the minimum payments made only applied to one of the credits at a time so the payments over the last 2 years were all interest built up while making payments for the first 3 years on the other credit. I advised I would be filing complaint and suit.

Consumer Complaint: This is concerning my PayPal Credit Account, it appears that PayPal has granted an Unknown Third Party access to my account. On Monday morning at XXXX a text message was sent to my Cell Phone - The text message was a one-time code to access my PayPal account. Meaning a login had occurred and a verification code was sent as a one-time use code to access the account data. The problem is that I DID NOT ACCESS THE ACCOUNT ON MONDAY AT XXXX AM. I called PayPal today at XXXX AM to inquire about the incident. I explained to the representative that I had security concerns about my account, I further explained that someone other than me had accessed the account and had gone as far as requesting to have a one-time code sent and that the code was sent to my cell phone via text. The representative placed me on hold to investigate then he came back on the line to explain to me that he could see the transaction. I asked him to inform me of the location of the login, the manner in which the login was done, whether the login was linked to my previous device login data etc in an effort to investigate. The agent told me that HE COULD NOT TELL ME, NOT THAT HE DID NOT KNOW BUT THAT HE COULD NOT TELL ME. I have come to the occlusion that PayPal is in collusion with another entity or organization and is granting access to my records without proper notification and disclosure to me, or at the very least, PayPal is AWARE that my account is being accessed and is deliberately withholding the information from me. 1. On several occasions when I called PapPal, the people that answered the phone did not address my questions as the REGULAR PayPal Staff usually do, instead interrogated me about what my purchases were for and who I was sending payment to when in fact the payments sent were for products ad services. 2. Recently PayPal refused to issue a refund even after I had provided sufficient evidence that I had not received an item I had ordered- receipts, shipping claims and dispute documents were filed, and the PayPal staff refused to issue the refund until I contacted the CFPB office. The latest issue is that I Notified PayPal of fraudulent access to my account and requested details of who had accessed my account and PayPal Refused to explain and Refused to Investigate the matter. Per the ACLU Immigrant Citizens oftentimes come under scrutiny under Homeland Security Administration. I am a Law Abiding - Tax Paying Citizen and I need for PayPal to be transparent and disclose to me WHO has been accessing my account since XX/XX/2021 when I traveled to XXXX XXXX. I need assistance in having PayPal fully disclose what entity or organization has been granted access to my account and to inform me what recourse do I have regarding the fact that someone other than me is accessing my PayPal Account. The account access is either Illegal or sanctioned by a Law. Therefore, to disclose information on who accessed my account and why or what I can do regarding unauthorized account access poses a risk of identity theft, and if the access is related to some sort of warrant, then a disclosure is in order and would be greatly appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: There is no way to submit a compliment so I am using this form to reach my bank. I want them to know that my TJX Reward credit card that I had for many years was the most fun credit card I have ever had. It was a bright spot in my life and I looked forward to all the coupons that I would get at the end of the month with which I would plan a little shopping spree at my favorite stores. Cash back is no fun... .it just goes somewhere to pay some bill. TJX or Synchrony Bank was also very good to me in little ways. I liked to keep my credit card limit low because if it were ever stolen the person couldn't go too crazy with voluminous spending. This was unlikely to happen because I kept it in a secure RIFD cover and tied it to my clothes instead of my purse which would be impossible for someone to take. Sometimes, however, I would unknowingly get too close to my limit and have to make a payment quickly. They were very kind to process my payment immediately which no other bank could do or was willing to do. I just want Synchrony Bank to know that I miss that part of my life and I am grateful for those years that we were together.
