Consumer Complaint: In accordance to Fair Credit Reporting Act, this creditor, Synchrony Care XXXX XXXX has violated my rights under 15USC1681-SECTION 602 which states that I have the right to privacy. Under 15USC1681-604A SECTION 2, it states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Under 15USC1666B it also states a creditor can not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open and consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. For these reasons, I am requesting the late payments be removed from my credit report across all XXXX bureaus.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 I was having XXXX XXXX with a XXXX related XXXX and had problem making payments due to being out of work. synchrony bank offered a reduced amount that I couldnt afford. In return I asked for a reduced amount but paid in a monthly payment plan, to which the bank agreed. They wrote off the debt, closed my account and my access to it, and collected two months of payment. Then the bank stopped collecting my payments and wanted the charge off debt paid in full, not taking account of the payments Ive made. After reporting to XXXX, their claim was that my payments did not meet their original offer to which I never had agreed to. Every time Ive asked to have emailed or mailed copies of all the documents associated to my account and agreements Ive made, the bank refused. Ive called and emailed and still received nothing. Now after couple of years, they sold the debt to a collection agency, even though my debt has been wiped off my credit report and they never contacted me after my complaint to XXXX. So now I cant get any documents from the bank and they refuse to communicate with me

My account was opened XX/XX/XXXX, and the Synchrony Bank racially PROFILED and REDLINED my credit in XXXX XXXX maliciously decreasing my credit limit. The supervisors excuse was they didnt believe, they would receive their money. Surly, I made every payment XXXX days earlier ; which contradicts her explanation. Now, XX/XX/XXXX my account has been closed, with XXXX late payments, and months away from the XXXX XXXX interest payment being. Most importantly, this shenanigan was intentional, by this unscrupulous company.

Consumer Complaint: Last month I discovered that Synchrony/Amazon charged off an account for {$370.00}. The account number ending in XXXX. The last record I showed paying them {$130.00} in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX Apparently there was a balance remaining of {$67.00}. The last statement they provided me was for the billing cycle from XXXX. Since then, Synchrony/Amazon did not send any monthly statements nor any late notices nor demand letters letting me know the account was past due and that they were planning to charge it off. They simply charged it off affecting my credit negatively. I contacted them directly and they could not provide me with any additional information. I was referred to a collection agency. I contacted the collection agency and 18 days later ( today XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ) I received the statements and I'm disputing the accumulated late fees and interest on the late fees totaling {$370.00}. As I look through the statements provided today, they have been charging a {$40.00} Late Fee and Interest on the balance of which includes late charges since XX/XX/XXXX at the rate of 29.99 %. On the statements provided today, it shows a very misleading and erroneous description of " INTEREST CHARGES ON PURCHASES '' for every month since the problem began. This company is a predator and they don't care about the consumer one bit. They are happy collecting late charges without providing the consumer due process to rectify an oversight on my part by not paying the balance in full. Instead, they simply charge it off and refuse to deal with the consumer past that point. If you look at the history on this account, you'll see that for a period of two years or so, I paid the balance in full every month.
