Consumer Complaint: Verizon Visa Synchrony card was being used for autopay on my Verizon wireless account. I changed carriers to XXXX on XX/XX/2023 and paid my remaining balance due to Verizon on their Synchrony of {$160.00} on XX/XX/23. I paid off the remainder owed on the phone contract with Verizon directly to the carrier ( {$1200.00} ). They charged me another month after the phones were fully ported. I sent them the documentation with a request to not allow any further charges on this account and to remove the {$240.00} which was charged after the phones were no longer in service with them. They continue to send me a bill for {$240.00} and they have made it impossible for me to access my account online. Synchrony Bank credit cards have been problematic in the past as well. I think their tactic is to make it so difficult to remove bogus charges that people give up and pay them.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank reduced my two retail credit cards line of credits that affected my whole credit usage and thereby reducing my overall credit score which my other creditors are looking as negative. I have a Synchrony Car Care card that I use for care repairs when needed. Since my car do not break down every month, I do not use the card. I had {$1800.00} credit list on the card, XX/XX/XXXX, I used the card for some emergency repairs on my car. Almost immediately after I used the card, my credit limit was reduced to {$900.00} which was about what I used on the card. As a result of this action my credit score and account credit usage went up and showed negative because it showed that I maxed out the card by using all my credit limit. I had never missed any payment on any of y account since 2017. My XXXX Credit Card for travel only and which I only travel when necessary was used in XXXX for {$350.00} airline ticket to visit my son 's wedding out of state. I had {$1500.00} line of credit on this card. Synchrony Bank again reduced my credit limit to exactly the amount used for the airline ticket. Again this affected my credit usage and my credit score. So I contacted Synchrony Bank and was told that the reason they reached my credit limit was because my Credit Usage changed and my credit scores no longer meet their requirement to allow me to keep the same credit limit. They cut my credit limit to minimum which affected my credit usage and my credit scores and then they pulled my credit after the fact to tell me that my credit score went down below their requirement. I started to research if anyone had the same problem with Synchrony Bank reducing their credit limits which affects their credit scores. Lots of people have many complaints on social media about this problem. My other creditors are now looking at my other accounts to see if I was having problem paying back on my account. Because of Synchrony action, my XXXX XXXX account with no limit was cut off and new limit set to my balance. When I contacted XXXX, they told me that my credit usage and credit score changes was the basis of their decision. Synchrony Bank is ruined my credit score and tarnish my record with XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase online via Lowes website and chose Lowe 's pay on XX/XX/2023 through Synchrony bank, pay later loan, I purchased multiple products, part of the items received were sent damaged, I made Lowes aware of this at the beginning of XXXX through customer care and spoke with a XXXX. I had a meeting with a virtual designed on XX/XX/2023, he was advised prior and at this visit. He made arrangements with the local store over getting the merchandise picked up and returned. I was advised that once they were received in store that a refund would be put on my account. I have never received that refund. Synchrony bank is not showing a refund, Lowes is telling me that they did. Synchrony bank is not honoring my early payment before my due date and I am being charged interest and late fees for products that I do not have in my possession. I made a payment to them on XX/XX/2023 prior to the due date of XX/XX/2023. I made a payment that was above the minimum payment for the account. I am disputing the charges with Lowes and Synchrony bank. The information I have and what was shared with me does not match there records or what they are telling me. I have emails with Lowes and a recorded call with an employee at Synchrony Bank of these disputes and nothing is being resolved in a timely manner and it is impacting my credit and the information I signed.

Consumer Complaint: I am urgently reaching out as a mother of a family of XXXX, deeply concerned and demanding immediate action. The issue at hand involves a company reporting fraudulent and inaccurate information on my credit report, a situation that gravely impacts my ability to acquire a much-needed vehicle for my family. This company 's actions are in violation of both the Uniform Commercial Code ( UCC ) and the United States Code ( USC ). Specifically, under UCC Article 9, which governs secured transactions, any party claiming a security interest in an account must provide concrete proof of their legal claim their failure to provide the Purchase Agreement as evidence of their claim to the account is a breach of the transparency required in such dealings. Furthermore, under USC Title 15, Section 1681s-2, responsibilities of furnishers of information to credit reporting agencies are clearly outlined, and their actions contravene these regulations. Additionally, their refusal to provide pertinent documents for review is a direct infringement of my rights under USC Title 15, Section 1681a, which details permissible purposes of consumer reports. This unauthorized use of my identity without my consent is adversely impacting my credit rating, creating a significant barrier to my financial stability and progress. Given these violations, I insist that the CFPB, in alignment with its mandate under USC Title 12, Section 5511, which involves regulating the provision of consumer financial products or services, takes swift and thorough action. The ongoing reporting of this unverified and potentially false information must be stopped immediately to prevent further damage to my credit rating and the overall financial well-being of my family. Consumer Complaint: I have an account with Synchrony Bank for a XXXX XXXX card. I have had this card for several years now and it's incredibly difficult to pay bills on time as the website is ( without fail ) down at the beginning of every month, and at various points throughout the following weeks. I have tried on different days, at different times of the day, hundreds of times. The ONLY way I could pay my bill was to call and wait on hold. That's fine, I have the time and the flexibility to do that, but not everyone does. If online payment is given as an option, I believe that option should be available consistently. I believe this is a ploy by Synchrony to disallow on time payments, thereby increasing interest and fees. It's gross.

Consumer Complaint: I requested info on why my XXXX XXXX card for my business was canceled, I was not late on any payments and they stated verbally that because of my high rate on my over all accounts, which I then told them this card is affiliated with my business and I am not late on any payments and have a minimum amount on this card. I also asked if that was the case why haven't you canceled my Amazon card which is also with your bank, I canceled my Brandsmart card and paying that off at this time. They said they would send me a letter and we ended. the call. I tried to speak with them again after I noticed they have applied late payments to my account when I asked to speak with a manger they put me on hold and then hung up on me. which is why I am very upset.
