Consumer Complaint: I ordered a wig from this company called XXXX hair and it arrived XX/XX/2022. I had other financial obligations that were much more important so when the XXXX XXXX arrived, I told them I refuse the package and ask if I could receive confirmation the package would be returned. The XXXX told me to take a picture, so I did. I found out it would be the same tracking number which was XXXX so I tracked it and it kept showing me that it was sitting in XXXX, AZ I knew that couldn't be right after more than two weeks. I had disputed it with PayPal Credit soon as I sent it back to make them aware. They removed it but then added it back like if I owe it. The seller XXXX hair is upset, the person I was communicating with tried to text me in XXXX, but the message disappeared, but she asks me to give her {$40.00} for shipping. This made me uncomfortable because no one ever asked me this. The seller was upset when I told her no. The seller knew that a case was opened with XXXX, and they provided another tracking number which is XXXX and case no. XXXX. I called PayPal credit and gave them this information and today when I called again, they didn't even have this information documented so I had to give it to them again. The account manager I spoke to XXXX who was pleasant advised me that they were closing it out again and I have all this proof, but they aren't trying to tell me where I can send it and they won't document it. My trust is gone with this company and others. This is through PayPal credit but the bank who has lended the credit is Synchrony Bank. I have never been told to contact Synchrony and they make it difficult who to handle this matter with, but I have reach out to both.

Issue: Closing your account
Subissue: Company closed your account
Consumer Complaint: I applied for a PaylPal line of credit, run by Synchrony Bank, on XX/XX/XXXX. I got approval for {$4300.00}. I put a moving bill of {$2300.00} on it the same day. The bank pulled my credit, creating a hard inquiry on my report that registered on my reports XX/XX/XXXX. A new account was reported on XX/XX/XXXX. I just received notice today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) FROM MY CREDIT REPORT NOT PAYPAL OR SYNCHRONY that this account is closed. It actually close XXXX days after it was approved and opened. Called PayPal and they said it was synchrony banks decision and they couldnt reverse it or explain it other that it was flagged as a reporting issue. Called synchrony bank and they said it was high risk and due to activitywouldnt say if it was activity in my credit report-which there has been NONE since they pulled my report and approved this credit line-or the activity on the credit line which again, has a single bill from a moving company and I havent even been a customer long enough to get a statement never mind make a payment so Beware! PayPal and synchrony bank can ding your credit report with a hard inquiry, open AND close an account within days of each other with no fraud or poor credit practices on your part, which also dings your credit score! I got points off for the inquiry and a massive drop with an account opening and closing within a week WITH A BALANCE ON IT! It totally destroyed my score! The only thing fraudulent and high risk is doing business with PayPal or Synchrony Bank! They can destroy my credit report with zero repercussions! Fraudulent and highly predatory! Creating issues on my score to reflect high risk when they are the cause!!!

Consumer Complaint: A debt on my credit report is abuse, deceit and unfair debt collection practice. This debt on my credit report has caused me to get denied certain necessities in life ( IE. Home, employment, car ). While checking my credit report I noticed that you all furnished an account on my credit report without my consent which has cause to get denied for multiple necessities in life ( IE. Home, employment, car ). There are laws in place to prevent your company from furnishing information on a consumers report. 15 USC 1692a ( 2 ) states ; the term " communication '' means the conveying of information regarding a debt directly or indirectly to ANY person through any medium. Therefore, furnishing of the consumer report ( giving information regarding the alleged debt ) by your company is " communication '' as stated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) As my rights state per 15 USC 1692c ( C ) I'm giving you formal notice to stop any further communications regarding this account immediately. This includes but is not limited to Consumer reporting Agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) Please do not respond saying you are not governing by FDCPA or you are exempt. You are in fact a " debt collector ''. 15 USC 1692 ( 6 ) The term debt collector means any person who uses any instrumentality of interstate commerce or the mails in any business the principal purpose of which is the collection of any debts, or who regularly collects or attempts to collect, directly or indirectly, debts owed or due or asserted to be owed or due another. Notwithstanding the exclusion provided by clause ( F ) of the last sentence of this paragraph, the term includes any creditor who, in the process of collecting his own debts, uses any name other than his own which would indicate that a third person is collecting or attempting to collect such debts. For the purpose of section 1692f ( 6 ) of this title, such term also includes any person who uses any instrumentality of interstate commerce or the mails in any business the principal purpose of which is the enforcement of security interests. The term does not include ( A ) any officer or employee of a creditor while, in the name of the creditor, collecting debts for such creditor ; ( B ) any person while acting as a debt collector for another person, both of whom are related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, if the person acting as a debt collector does so only for persons to whom it is so related or affiliated and if the principal business of such person is not the collection of debts ; ( C ) any officer or employee of the United States or any State to the extent that collecting or attempting to collect any debt is in the performance of his official duties ; ( D ) any person while serving or attempting to serve legal process on any other person in connection with the judicial enforcement of any debt ; ( E ) any nonprofit organization which, at the request of consumers, performs bona fide consumer credit counseling and assists consumers in the liquidation of their debts by receiving payments from such consumers and distributing such amounts to creditors ; and ( F ) any person collecting or attempting to collect any debt owed or due or asserted to be owed or due another to the extent such activity ( i ) is incidental to a bona fide fiduciary obligation or a bona fide escrow arrangement ; ( ii ) concerns a debt which was originated by such person ; ( iii ) concerns a debt which was not in default at the time it was obtained by such person ; or ( iv ) concerns a debt obtained by such person as a secured party in a commercial credit transaction involving the creditor. Consumer Complaint: I have been an excellent customer who has always paid my bills on time. Naturally, I was completely shocked when I noticed my account was reported late to the credit bureaus in XXXX and XXXX of XXXX I do not think I was late during this time, but if I was, it was either because I did not receive my bill or the online payment system was down. I have had problems receiving mail at my address and I have had numerous problems making online payments on my account. On a related note, the payment history being reported by the credit bureaus is wrong, because XXXX and XXXX reports that I was 30-days in XX/XX/2018, and XXXX reports I was 30XXXXdays late in XXXX. This is impossible because if I was late, it would be either XXXX or XXXX, not both. Please see the attached copy of my credit report.
