Consumer Complaint: I really need your help to solve this. I am super close to getting my number changed just to stop the phone calls and text messages even though i blocked their number they call from a different line? I had purchased a bed at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX or XXXX XXXX. I have paid this loan off before i moved out of state. I as well made sure the bank account was closed after i fully checked with that balance was paid off. I get phone calls multiple times a day as well as emails. I have opened two fraud complaints with the company ; they state that i will not get calls about the past due " balance '' but they never go through with the complaint. I have tried to get loan officers to help as well. None of this or the dozens upon dozens of times i have communicated that this is not my debt. my monthly minimum payments were {$5.00} but i always paid {$100.00}. my total was just around {$2000.00} but not exceeding {$2200.00}. I know i paid this off and i am getting harassed so many times a day i had to block their number. This is the most recent email that i have received : Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$2300.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$650.00} Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$2200.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$530.00} Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$2100.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$400.00} Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$2000.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$290.00} Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$2000.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$170.00} Payment Due Date : XXXX Statement Balance : {$1900.00} Total Minimum Payment Due : {$67.00} my " monthly bill '' has gone up {$600.00}. I couldn't find the other emails that go back farther. I also sent my ( when i actually bought my bed ) payments over check. The balance is going up and up and i did not purchase anything besides 1 transaction in XXXX. I have been getting harassed by this company for almost two years now. Even though this is not my debt i closed that bank account associated with that loan after i paid it, and i waited for it to completely cleared when i moved to XXXX on XXXX however, some of the emails from this company states that my last payment was in XX/XX/XXXX. It is not feasible that i could have made payments let alone owe around {$2400.00}. This has a hold on my credit and my XXXX XXXX has gone down due to this company. I would like to solve this and get my XXXX XXXX back up. I do not have a single debt collection in my name for i pay all my bills! I cant have up to XXXX phone calls a day not listening to me and telling me that i have to pay this regardless if its not mine. I do not know my account number associated with this fraudulent affair due to the fact i paid my full balance and i can not get in to see someone used my account to purchase {$2400.00} loan. the only action that i have not taken was to send a cease and desist letter. I do not have access to any statements or itemized list from the company since i do not know what my account number is and when asked they told me they couldn't tell me that. I hacve not given my updated address for i didn't want to be harassed by letters as well.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank XXXX XXXX has violated my consumer rights by reporting late payments to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. In accordance with : 15 Usc 1681 section 602, I have the right as a consumer to privacy. 15 Usc 1681 section 604 a section 2 : a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written consent. Pursuant to 15 USC 1666-correction of billing errors ( b ) Billing error for the purpose of this section, a billing error consists of any of the following : ( 1 ) A reflection on a statement of an extension of credit which was not made to the obligor or, if made, was not in the amount reflected on such statement. ( 2 ) A reflection on a statement of an extension of credit for which the obligor requests additional clarification including documentary evidence thereof. ( 3 ) A reflection on a statement of goods or services not accepted by the obligor or his designee or not delivered to the obligor or his designee in accordance with the agreement made at the time of a transaction. ( 4 ) The creditors failure to reflect properly on a statement a payment made by the obligor, or a credit issued to the obligor. Furthermore Synchrony Bank XXXX XXXX has closed my account due to alleged nonpayment : Pursuant to : 15 usc 1666 ( c ) Action by creditor to collect amount or any part thereof regarded by obligor to be a billing error For the purposes of this section, action to collect the amount, or any part thereof, indicated by an obligor under paragraph ( 2 ) does not include the sending of statements of account, which may include finance charges on amounts in dispute, to the obligor following written notice from the obligor as specified under subsection ( a ), if ( 1 ) the obligors account is not restricted or closed because of the failure of the obligor to pay the amount indicated under paragraph ( 2 ) of subsection ( a ), and ( 2 ) the creditor indicates the payment of such amount is not required pending the creditors compliance with this section. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit any action by a creditor to collect any amount which has not been indicated by the obligor to contain a billing error. ( d ) Restricting or closing by creditor of account regarded by obligor to contain a billing error Pursuant to regulations of the Bureau, a creditor operating an open end consumer credit plan may not, prior to the sending of the written explanation or clarification required under paragraph ( B ) ( ii ), restrict or close an account with respect to which the obligor has indicated pursuant to subsection ( a ) that he believes such account to contain a billing error solely because of the obligors failure to pay the amount indicated to be in error. Nothing in this subsection shall be deemed to prohibit a creditor from applying against the credit limit on the obligors account the amount indicated to be in error. XXXX Treatment of credit balances ; account termination. ( 1 ) A creditor shall not terminate an account prior to its expiration date solely because the consumer does not incur a finance charge. Synchrony Bank Sam 's Club has harassed me by calling and sending text messages to my phone while at place of business. Pursuant to 15 usc 1692 ( 5 ) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number. I sent to synchrony bank XXXX 's club an affidavit of right to rescission, revocation of signature XX/XX/2022, on the grounds of fraud, misrepresentation and concealment of material facts regarding the financial transactions and financial undertakings for my account.

Consumer Complaint: I have PayPal account made a purchase on XXXX website paid the money month later received the items opened the package four of the items were missing immediately called them when home looked at items they said 2x but they were medium to small they had me takes pics which l have, PayPal says work with the seller which l did, but when PayPal does their Dispute lnvestgation that's when everything went wrong the seller agreed to refund my money l have all the emails stating that along with the tracking number for the returned items PayPal refused to return my money that l paid up front and denied my case l given them emails of all the communication between the seller stating that they were going refund my money., that they called the postoffice to confirm the tracking number and whe. It was delivered.

Consumer Complaint: Complaint # XXXX was closed Inappropriately. Federal & State Banking Laws REQUIRE That a dispute process be followed by the Credit provider and bank. Synchrony Failed to comply with the Required process, and state, Federal & Regulatory Banking Laws & Regulations. For that I am Unsatisfied with the mishandling and improper closure of the above file. I want it re-opened and instruct the bank to find the dispute in the consumers favor as required by law. Further, This bank & merchant committed Bank fraud and a Ponzi scheme by charging multiple persons for the same singular purchase. In effect requiring the Consumer to give this merchant & business an interest free loan by a consumer! The merchant Violated the contract honoring the lowest price after the sale. The merchant XXXX XXXX XXXX Responded multiple times to a totally irrelevant and non related matter to my dispute. There by requiring that Synchrony Bank Close the Dispute and rule in the consumer 's favor as required by Law and banking regulations governing how disputes are to be processed and handled. This complaint needs management review and an order to Synchrony to close the dispute correctly in the consumer 's favor.

Consumer Complaint: Today i was denied for a credit card. I also have no credit because ive never opened one. i checked my credit history and seen 3 unauthorized accounts under my name. Ive been receiving all type of mail from probably more than 5 different credit unions. over the past year ive have been kicked out of two banks unknowingly After I tried to open another I would be denied back to back I attempted to call and visit my local social security office here in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida but theyre communication is so poor I couldnt even get a hold of someone on the phone. Appointments are to be booked online meaning there are no walk ins. after i called XXXX XXXX they claimed to have found nothing under my name, but it is on my credit. Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/22 I entered into a XXXX XXXX XXXX with Synchrony Bank in efforts of securing a XXXX 's Credit Card. I completed the application and was instructed to call customer service. After being transferred several time, I finally received assistance from REP who then asked to verify my identity using XXXX. I attempted to complete the verification process while still on phone with rep but was denied due to light reflecting off of the back of driver license. My account was BLOCKED and unable to complete the process. I am livid as I was told by XXXX FRAUD DEPARTMENT there was no other way to verify identity. This technology glitch will result in denial of credit although I am " XXXX XXXX ''. Not to mention a HARD INQUIRY was placed on my consumer file although I did benefit from this transaction which is my right as a consumer.

Consumer Complaint: For more than a year I have attempted to close my accounts with PayPal/Synchrony Bank not only because of permitting scammers to charge OVER {$1000.00} ( An issue which was resolved by transferring the total amount of one card to a reputable bank and completely paying off the balance on a " prepaid '' account ). The company also gave my direct pay bank account information to XXXX XXXX for which they withdrew a direct payment of {$6.00} membership fees. Because of this violation of this company 's own privacy policy, I had my bank close the contacted account and create a new one for which I had to have printed and purchased new checks at my own expense. At that time I requested all accounts be closed which they have refused to do. I am attaching a copy their response. It is important to note all accounts have been paid in full for some months yet per the attached they refuse to close all and I have already found someone used my email address, changed the password and attempted a purchase. This will continue as long as this remains open.
