Consumer Complaint: The Legal representatives of XXXX XXXX XXXX - account number XXXX, ( i.e., XXXX XXXX XXXX - Attorney Code XXXX - XXXX, et al. ) ; files a Small Claims action suit against me as the claimant, in XXXX XXXX, Alabama - XXXX # XXXX. The small claims states that their " records indicate that we purchased this SYNCOHRONY BANK credit account on XX/XX/2022 when the outstanding balance was {$720.00}. The problem with this false statement is that SYNCOHRONEY BANK had already resolved this matter as a matter of Identity theft and fraudulent activity. Therefore, the outstanding balance was then written off as a lost. I verbal and written statement was provided to the fraud department of SYNCOHRONEY BANK prior to any statement of collection by XXXX XXXX XXXX, and that information was then reiterated. In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission says youre not responsible to pay for charges or withdrawals made without your permission if they happen after you report the loss. Yet, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and their legal representatives still continue to make collection attempts. How do I stop this harassment?

Consumer Complaint: PayPal has been sending me harassing emails regarding a small charge on a closed credit card associated with an account that was hacked and which I am unable to access. They refuse to take any form of payment online or confirm the payment of the debt and I am unable to see the actual charges on this credit card. They have been reporting this debt to my credit reports despite it clearly being a phishing scam that only demands my debit card number over the phone. The account is a Synchrony Bank XXXX account that ends in XXXX and the PayPal account associated with it is XXXX which has been hacked and closed by other people without my permission.

Consumer Complaint: I was a co-signer for a synchrony car care credit card, I was never informed of any missed payments by either the company or the person who was the one to utilize the credit card during the entirety of the missed payments. I never once used it nor did I even have a card with me to use it. I disputed this account several times asking to be removed and or taken off my credit report due to the fact that it was paid in full already and the fact that I never utilized said card or was contacted or missed payments for so long. I never get a response describing why it wont be taken off when I dispute it or what the findings were from the investigation.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, First, I am a victim of hurricane IAN and lost my home and car and currently displaced 2.5 hours away from home. I have explained this to synchrony bank, in which I have several cards with them and have not been late, even with the devastation I've gone through. They have sent me a notice today at XXXX that my credit limit on my car care credit card has been dropped from XXXX ( I believe that's what it was, down to XXXX ) ..for no reason, I have paid it down from XXXX to XXXX and then they did this. A month or so ago, they also did this to my lowes card. Their reason stated is that I have a recent real estate delinquency and haven't paid down enough of my mortgage loan in the slotted time frame, however, my mortgage is in forbearance due to the hurricane, while I wait for repairs, they accidentally reported it to my credit as delinquent, they have retracted it and I disputed it, but it's takes at least 30 days before coming off and I just purchased the XXXX XX/XX/2022, then the hurricane hot in XXXX and went into forbearance, so of course I haven't paid as much but when I was paying it, I was never late. I am fixing my credit from the mortgage mistake, in which I also have an email from them stating this. I am also TRYING to pay down my credit as I had to use it when this all first happened.but again, I've never been late on any of them. You can look and see if have 100 % payment history and once I'm situated back in my home, I will begin my mortgage payments again.however, they are making my credit worse by dropping my limits. None of my other credit cards have down this only synchrony. I would love to close them all from synchrony because they have treated me so horribly but again, that would hurt my credit.can you please help me. I have tried with them and they don't care. I could see if I was late and not paying, but I am and the fact that they did this as soon as I paid it down to XXXX is disgusting.that was a real low blow. They don't even call a client to see why the issues are, such as my mortgage issue, that was not my fault, it dropped my score and now I'm waiting for all 3 credit companies to remove it, I also couldn't help that I had to use a lot of my credit cards to survive for a bit but again, they are paid ..all of them, on time. Even the car that was ruined and is now undrivable, I still owe on it but I'm paying it. This is just horrible and I can't have this added stress of a credit card company removing limits for no reason, dropping my credit score.more on top of being homeless right now. This is such another example of how bad this world has become when it comes to humanity. Taking advantage and slamming people in devastation.please help

Consumer Complaint: The card is with Synchrony Bank ( XXXX XXXX ) for car repairs. I applied when I had a costly car repair bill in XXXX. I've been paying it down and the company actually closed my account so I couldn't use it anymore for car repairs. Their claim was I didn't make payments on time ; however, I disputed this but then thought it was best to pay it off get rid of the card as I didn't have good experiences with customer service and online reviews of other consumers claimed questionable practices. On XX/XX/XXXX, I signed on and saw that my balance was {$160.00} so I chose to pay it off and get rid of the card. I received a confirmation email after I made the payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I get an email from Synchrony saying my next payment is on XX/XX/XXXX. {$4.00}. First, they closed the account so how can additional money be charged to it? I tried to get in touch with customer service to no avail and the chat option did not work either as it's set up for automated responses. Further investigation shows they added interest to the account a day AFTER I paid the balance on XX/XX/XXXX. Please see attached documents. Consumer Complaint: I have a Paypal credit account that offer promotional deferred interests. Cardholders have the latitude to pay on or before the account in full before the due date or until the promotion expires. I made a payment of {$2000.00} noticing that I have a few promotions which will expire. I contacted Paypal and I was given misleading information, stating that I need to call them manually. This is not right that if I made a payment which goes to the balance and satisfies most of the promotions, why is not applied to those purchases? I find this to be misleading and a practice of scamming individuals who pay their bills on time. I need Paypal Credit to do the right thing and apply my payments to satisfy these promotions so I am not held responsible for these interests and calling should not be the way to do so if a customer decides to make the payments via balance transfer or otherwise.
