Consumer Complaint: zero interest agreement with Synchrony bank through Mattress Firm purchase initiated in XX/XX/XXXX first payment of {$85.00} began in XXXX. XXXX payment was 2 days late. Late fee charged {$30.00}. The minimum payment, due XX/XX/XXXX which is unknown until the statement closes at the end of the month, went from {$85.00} to {$110.00} without my knowledge. Made two payments in XXXX of {$100.00} and {$110.00} assuming that would take care of these fees. In XXXX, {$15.00} of the late fee was separately charged as 'late ', another {$41.00} late fee was levied and a minimum interest charge of {$2.00} was added to the balance. Minimum payment increased to XXXX on XXXX closing statement, and they started charging interest of {$2.00} and the {$15.00} late fee carried over SEPARATELY as still late. Called them about this, and they told me I had to pay the {$15.00} late fee separately to stop this from happening. I paid it immediately by phone with them. Then I asked them to remove the late fee of {$41.00} and stop the interest charges, which they did. I also asked what the new minimum payment would be after all of this, and they could not tell me. I have to wait for the statement for XXXX, which closes at the end of XXXX AFTER the payment is due. I have no idea how to get this under control and what my payment will be for XXXX. This is unfair and deceptive practice by Synchrony bank. To summarize, they took my extra payment of {$110.00} and paid XXXX of the {$30.00} late fee. Then they called the remaining late fee balance of {$15.00} overdue and charged another late fee the following month, and began charging interest on the loan.

I disputed the charge with XXXX XXXX and the dispute was not resolved in my favor. I've paid for this. On XX/XX/2023 I was incorrectly rebilled the amount of {$1600.00} for the same company. I contacted XXXX XXXX and XXXX them about this inaccurate duplicate rebilling and was told that they had to open another dispute. I've not been given any conditional or other types of credits. I've not been given any assurance from XXXX XXXX that I won't be responsible for the duplicate rebilled charge and I don't trust them to accurately investigate this situation. Consumer Complaint: Purchased flooring from XXXX 's XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX via Synchrony XXXX Credit Card. Noticed that there were issues with the flooring after install and I contacted XXXXXXXX XXXX directly to resolve. They asked me to wait 90 days to see if it would resolve on it's own and it did not. After attempting to contact XXXX 's again to no avail, I reached out to Synchrony to file a dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a dispute in the amount of {$6000.00}. This dispute was entered by Synchrony as {$600.00} instead. XXXX 's did not respond to this dispute and on XX/XX/XXXX I received a credit of {$600.00}. I called Synchrony to inform them that the dispute credit was for the incorrect amount and on XX/XX/XXXX a new dispute was filed for {$6000.00} with a required response date of XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX 's failed to respond during this timeframe and then on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX 's was sent another notification and was given until XX/XX/XXXX to respond. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX responded to say that they were unaware of any problems. This statement from them was not truthful as I personally went into the store to meet with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and showed her a video of the sounds my floor was making. At this time, she stated that she was going to have her manager contact me. I waited 1 week and called XXXX back and spoke to XXXX who stated she was with a customer and once done, she would call me back- which never happened. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a dispute thinking this would get their attention. However, because Synchrony filed the initial dispute for the wrong amount, I was forced to file a second dispute and reopen the case. I feel like Synchrony never did anything to work with me as they only seem to have cared about XXXX 's side of the story and sided with them in the dispute even though you can clearly see that Synchrony failed by filing the dispute for the incorrect amount and XXXX 's lack of, or slow, responses.

Consumer Complaint: Since discovering the unauthorized suspected hacking and/or cloning or duplication of my Synchrony Care Credit and duplication of my Synchrony PayPal card in XXXX to present, Synchrony has not followed either their contractual agreement to not allow for unauthorized cards without notifying me OR followed any of the Consumer Protection Laws filing a anti-money laundering suspicious activity reports. As shared with 2 other banks, FBI, IRS, Attorney Generals in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX local and state police- I am certain reports were never filed because I would have been investigated as the crimes were conducted using identity fraud in both of these accounts. 1. In XXXX, my Care Credit card was resolved when Synchrony learned my XXXX for my XXXX XXXX was used to illegal transfer funds. The criminal had no idea the insurance check from XXXX for XXXX was in transit from my home in XXXX to Care Credit. Therefore, the hacked payments of XXXX authorized by me took 2 reports for you and I to know the balance was paid in full by a criminal who assumed their hack of the XXXX monthly payments would go to their account. Instead, the insurance paid XXXX in full and there would be no more than 3 payments of XXXX. However, I did not know this balance was paid. I found log in information for carecredit on my computer with an unrecognizable log in. In fact, I never set up an account page, just auto payments of XXXX from my XXXX XXXX XXXX to Care Credit. According to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX desk agents in XXXX, this is a common crime in laundering. 2. I was one of the first consumers to own PayPal for primary use on XXXX in XXXX. My record is spotless and I actually ( age XXXX ) didn't realize it was a credit card, thought of it as a transfer funds for the longest time. Therefore, I have no record in 19 years of transferring funds to my PayPal, especially XXXX in and out of my XXXX XXXX XXXX ( now owned by XXXX ) to a PayPal card. I have no record, however, according to the teller at XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, while under a restraining order, XXXX XXXX accessed and duplicated my PayPal to what I know suspect is laundering over XXXX. I asked the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX where did the money go? She said your PayPal. Please review my records. It did not go to me. However, I have submitted the dates and amounts using XXXX as shared by XXXX XXXX XXXX staff is Joint Venture ( XXXX ). Simply depositing funds in my individual account allowed the suspect access to my account. I lived in XXXX and was charged in XXXX, XXXX for a balance inquiry. I originally thought he took funds from my account, however, IT WAS ALL unknown deposits and withdraws to PayPay credit aka identity fraud or using my name to commit crimes. The police don't care, or help. Beginning this horrendous hamster wheel in XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( location of XXXX XXXX ) told me to go to XXXX XXXX PD as I live there, stating the law recently changed. XXXX XXXX said XXXX XXXX was lying. Economic crime unit in XXXX XXXX, home of the criminal but also XXXX XXXX during tracked transactions, said they'd get back to me, but nothing. FBI agents in XXXX XXXX said, not much I can do. FBI XXXX- collectively ( there's ALOT more than Synchrony Bank ) duty agent and cyber crime expert said, " this is obviously fraud. '' XXXX XXXX responded that I am obviously the victim of crimes and should notify police. The chief of police in XXXX, XXXX said, " now you have to prove he was sitting in a chair in XXXX when he committed these crimes using your identity. '' XXXX. Without records from Syncrhony as to where my funds went, XXXX XXXX redacted with a mercant ID ending XXXX that is not my account. on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX was processsed to where. You can not redact my records from my account. 4. PayPal hired attorneys to serve subpoenas to recoup funds from consumers. I had to take a day off of work, go to court, present to a judge that I need records to see if I owe PayPal or they owe me given the XXXX of unauthorized transfers. The overburdened judge agreed. I would rather have relentless emails and phone calls than lawyers making money to cause more trauma, more loss to consumers when PayPal needs to release records IN MY NAME. Then, only then will anyone help me clear my name. This is clear laundering. Money in/out, no idea where it came from totaling XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX until XXXX XXXX when I closed the XXXX account before their merger. Fortunately, I have my records from XXXX. I've spent years asking XXXX XXXX XXXX, who blamed the merger, XXXX XXXX, blamed XXXX, The XXXX XXXX XXXX said there were crimes, go to the police. WITHOUT non redacted records I can not go anywhere. 5. I have a court date XX/XX/XXXX sued by Synchrony Bank. The attorney 's office needs to stop and Synchrony Bank most recently told me to tell their fraud XXXX, who said I benefitted. I HAVE XXXX PAYPAL account since XXXX. Please locate any and all accounts in my name used to commit crimes ( ID XXXX on statements ) from XXXX to present.. 6. Send me a statement for court that we continue to identify my balance and your balance to me again as with Care Credit. You must look for accounts in my name, as it was either cloned or hacked. I have no record on my Care Credit or PayPal that matches what you found. You can't keep the records or not work with me and then send a sheriff to my house with a subpoena twice. Its awful and abusive.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX I mailed a XXXX money order to Paypal Credit svcs/synb as I have done many times. The payment was not credited to my account, but XXXX verified that the money order was cashed. Synchrony Bank asked me to send them all the information I have, plus fax them the XXXX money order customer 's receipt, which shows the XXXX serial number, which I did do. Synchrony Bank did credit my account for the {$400.00} M/O, but the following month they reversed the charge. I have been contacting them every month since then to ask for my credit back, they would give it, then take it back again, and again. The XX/XX/XXXX statement shows 2 {$400.00} credits totaling {$800.00}, and on the same statement there are 2 charges for {$400.00} each, erasing the credits. I only want what the {$400.00} credit I had paid them in XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. THE IMPORTANT POINT HERE IS ; I SENT SYNCHRONY BANK THE INFORMATION TO PROVE THAT THE MONEY ORDER MAILED TO, AND MADE OUT TO THEM, WAS CASHED BY THEM. Obviously they are embarrassed to admit that someone in their operation had stole or applied the credit to another account.. This has taken multiple hours of my time and stress communicating with them about a final resolution, to no avail. i am retired and on SS plus physically unable to work again Please help me..

XXXX. XXXX XXXX paid off card {$4000.00} credit limit account was closed. never 30 day late. I feel this should have not happen during a pandemic and high inflation. I had to lived off my credit cards to eat and survive ; and through it all I still managed to pay all my credit cards obligation on time. My debt ratio flew sky high because of Synchrony. my other creditors reviewed my credit report and one by one my other credit card limit start decreasing. it has cause a domino effect and I now all my credit cards have been decreased. What took me years to build, Synchrony took seconds to demolish my credit! MY CREDIT IS RUIN BECAUSE OF SYNCHRONY! STAY FAR AND AWAY FROM THIS BANK! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!

I am trying to set off this debt as instructed by law. My tender and instructions were refused on both occasions. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX if XXXX I accidentally paid my card balance of XXXX to my Amazon store card. I called them and ask them to return the second payment if they could keep the first payment because I owe them that money they refused and said that it would take more than 60 days for me to get the {$400.00} back which wouldve meant that I wouldve been evicted from my house, needless to say I went to my bank. I stopped one of the payments so that they would not get over {$800.00} out of my account. The second one was left open for them to go ahead and take their money like I owe them. I then called And close the account permanently now they are telling me that I still owe them {$400.00}. I have a bank statement that says that that money was taken out as a fourth payment on XX/XX/XXXX. So they can stop their collection actions or I can sue them because thats where Im at right now Im working hard to keep my credit score at a decent mobile pay off what I owe and I sure as XXXX dont need them dinging my credit score. I do not know why synchronicity bank is allowed to even operate. They are a predatory lender and have been for years.
