Consumer Complaint: I went to Rooms to Go back in XXXX and was approved for a 55 month 0 % offer for furniture purchase with Synchrony Bank. I purchased around {$4700.00} on the card. About a couple of weeks into the offer about {$2500.00} was rolled into my card which I called to dispute. They told me not to pay anything during the dispute and to wait for a new account to be created. My account is on auto pay so everything should have been charged and no missed payment was made expect only a delayed while they were updating accounts during the initial dispute. When they created the new account they somehow rolled a portion of the amount ( about half ) into a 29.9 % interest instead of the initial offer I had been approved for. Im not sure if this is something they are doing repeatedly to get away with changing the rate on people but this seems like a fraud. I called them and ask for them to please fix my account to the agreed interest and to refund me the interest they have been charging since they updated the account to wrong interest rate. After about 2hrs with them on a call and going back and forth they told me they would fix it. Its been 3 weeks since the call and nothing has changed in my account. They are still charging me the higher interest rate. I have the receipt for the original offer and need this to be fixed as the new rate is costing me way more money then what was initially agreed to. I would have never purchased the items at the current rate.

Consumer Complaint: I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Ca. to buy an electric winch for my truck at a sale they were having. The cashier at the store offered me a 10 % discount if I would sign up for the XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. I did and was supposed to receive it within 1-2 weeks. I never received a card of any kind I still have not, even after talking to 3 separate store managers. I received my 1st bill about XXXX. The bill contained a new charge of {$1400.00}. I immediately called customer service and after being on hold for almost 2 hours, I was transferred to XXXX in the fraud dept. He took my info and I received a questionare on XXXX from the fraud dept.which I filled out and returned immediately. On my next billing statement, the fraud charge was removed. The credit card was changed from card ending XXXX to one ending in XXXX. Still no real credit card has showed up, but I was charged {$10.00} in interest. Since that time, I have received billing statements every month. My balance has grown by almost {$100.00}. I have written and sent them 2 letters but they don't respond.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX PayPal Credit : I made a payment last month for {$110.00} when I did this, giving them XXXX cents extra, they raised my minimum monthly payment due {$110.00}, instead of {$110.00}! They do this every time I give them a little extra ; this has happened before! I gave them extra because of my XXXX and I didn't want to be late with my payment. And, the other problem I'm having is that when I purchase something and it rises to the {$100.00} value mark or more, I have until XXXX to pay it off. I'll make my minimum monthly payment due approaching the XXXX mark. And, I'll make my payment and they'll tell me I'll only have to pay the minimum monthly payment whether it's higher or lower, and the bill will be satisfied. And now for some apparent reason they have stop that, and are charging me more! And, XXXX time I paid them early near the first of the month trying to show my appreciation because my bill isn't due until the XXXX of each month ; and they took the money out early and caused my account to go into a XXXX state and myself and the bank were very upset! And another time, I have to check behind them if I'm given a refund from XXXX or XXXX, I'll have to physically call them to make them apply the refund through the back office, or they'll charge as if there were no refund! I'm angry, and I think they are taking advantage of me because of my XXXX, I'm a good customer and has never been late with my bills! XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: The company decreased my credit limit and caused my usage to report at XXXX percent, ( if you use over XXXX percent of your limit your credit score will decrease ) My initial limit was XXXX I made purchases of XXXX and before the Bill was due I paid XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX, My credit limit was decreased to XXXX ( while I was in the middle of purchasing a home ) so this caused my score to drop and I can lose my down payment on a home purchase.I was not notified in a timely manner so I could take any actions to avoid the problem.I don't have any lates on my credit to cause my limit to be decreased.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank has a consistent habit of reducing credit limits or closing under active accounts knowing that these actions have a massive impact on a users credit score. Recently I made a purchase using my Dicks sporting goods store and before my payment was due they lowered my credit limit. At the same time they reported my current balance, which was not due for XXXX business days. This is abuse of privilege and resulted in my credit score dropping XXXX points based on credit card usage at XXXX %. This is unfair treatment and can result in a cascading effect which could cause other card companies to reduce my credit limits based on a falling credit score. It also impacted my ability to apply for a XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony bank. I am over due paying my credit cards. I admit that. They are calling at least 10-15 times per day. I have screenshots of calls that are coming in 4 in a row within a matter of 20 minutes. This happens several times a day. They come from all over the US. For example. Just today I have received calls from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX in between those have been 3 unknown numbers starting at XXXX Between yesterday and Wednesday all of these calls were received by XXXX ( yesterday ) XXXX and then I blocked them. Wednesday it was same number XXXX. In between all of those came calls from XXXX. I was hit by a XXXX XXXX and can no longer work. We have been waiting for XXXX for almost 2 years. I just need the calls to stop. I am stressed enough and I have nothing to offer or pay. We are well below the poverty level. I went from a full time good job to nothing.
