Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank has NOT been willing to help us in supplying us with the Information that we requested ie A. When was the Pay Pal Card issued? As we have never had a PayPal Card B. When and where were the purchases made! C. Why even though we give the supposed account number, do we need to give our Personal information ie Social Security number, Home address etc D. After researching I have discovered that Synchrony Bank has had some major legal issues with underhanded debt collection in 2021 The Debt amount is according to the synchrony Bank is {$820.00} They have not responded to our inquiries regarding this debt

The next day I got 4 hard inquiries when I should have only received one. I left the lady who called me during the credit application process at Synchrony and voicemail but did not receive a call back. I called XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to notify them of this report, and they helped me with creating a file number under XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: they have refused to pay two of the black business owners the first I had to pay out of pocket cost which I preferred to use my open account with synchrony this second time customer service said the company could send in all invoices an getting paid they would not have a problem that was on XXXX its now a month later and synchrony has given the run around did everything they ask for and they continue to take me through changes Iam XXXX XXXX XXXX and they should have better business practices i need help getting this company paid from my open account even if they need to give me a temporary synchrony master card just to bill my synchrony account so that its invoiced taxes are out the will be complete the owner paid and synchrony with my new balance and payment information I am not a XXXX this is my open account if it was done wrong they need to help correct this since customer service i was doing everything right and everything should be good. help cause it's not good and right. and it's their people 's fault for lying saying the company could call it in to get paid all of the and send the invoices in all lies.

Consumer Complaint: I was using a third party to pay my debts the 3rd party made a settlement agreement with the company and the payments were paid as agreed. The last payment was made in XXXX of 2019. It has been reported late and owing ever since. The third party Debt settlement company has for the payment completion letter, they have ignored the request. This has caused harm to my credit report. Each time I dispute it and then they state the info is incorrect it tanks my credit anywhere between XXXX points. I have had credit taken away when the last dispute came back as the information was correct.

Consumer Complaint: Syncrony bank pays dental office clerks a commission to open accounts on the Syncrony Care Card. This is nothing but a high interest credit card that can be used for anything. On XXXX, XXXX week before my implant procedure, XXXX XXXX, the dental clerk for XXXX XX/XX/XXXX asked me if I wanted to see if I would be approved for this card, based on the estimated cost, {$8200.00}. I stupidly gave her my SSN. She said that I was approved, and never gave me any specs or info on the card. She said it had 7 % interest when it is really 26 %. I said that I would look into it. I had a secured loan option that was much better. On XX/XX/16, I had the procedure. When leaving I asked XXXX, what about the bill? She said not to worry I already paid. When I got home, I immediately checked my credit. An account was opened at synchrony bank for a " care card '' and there was a purchase for {$8200.00}, the estimated charge. It was obvious that XXXX opened it with my SSN and charged {$8200.00}. There was a receipt buried in my other paperwork. The rate was 26 % but 16 % for the first 3 years. I called synchrony bank 100 times and finally got a fraud dispute opened. 2 months later, I was denied due to the huge conflict of interest. I appealed. 2 months later I was denied. Sometime during these 4 months, synchrony reversed the dental charge of {$8200.00} and hit me with a charge for {$8200.00} as a general purchase from synchrony bank. This way, the interest would be 26 % from the start. XXXX. Just recently I got an email from synchrony saying that I was getting a new card with the 26 % and $ XXXX in debt. In the dispute XXXX made a forged copy of the receipt with my signature on it which they had on file. This all happened so XXXX could get her commission and the bank its interest. I just want the transaction reversed and the money sent back to synchrony. She can keep her money.

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with XXXX compliance standards, I kindly request that you provide me with the XXXX compliance disclosure governing the reporting of transactions to a consumer reporting agency. Furthermore, I insist on the immediate removal of the transactions reported in XXXX and XXXX from my consumer reports, as they are in clear violation of federal law. Before you consider responding with a request for validation, please understand that my query does not pertain to validation or verification. I expect no further delay in addressing these pressing concerns. Additionally, I draw your attention to 15 USC 1666b ( a ), which explicitly states that a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open-end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Given this provision, I reiterate my demand for the deletion of the above-mentioned transactions from my consumer reports.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I reported fraud to Synchrony Bank. I filled out the form they requested I complete. I have written 2 letters continuing to object to the fraudulent charges. The charges occurred in states I have never been to with merchants I have never done business with. Synchrony has not sent me anything stating the results of their investigation, over 90 days have passed, and they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They continue to charge me for fraudulent charges. I asked the Colorado Attorney General for help, and they declined to provide any. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Consumer Complaint: To whom this may concern : I would like to state that according to 15 U.S.C. 1681 ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting The Congress makes the following findings : ( 1 ) The banking system is dependent upon fair and accurate credit reporting. These companies are blatantly violating federal law ( 15 U.S. Code 1611- Criminal liability for willful and knowing violation Whoever willfully and knowingly ( 1 ) gives false or inaccurate information can be held liable ). I noticed unauthorized accounts on my consumer report. I have not signed any documents authorizing the organization to report any accounts on my consumer report therefore, the reporting of accounts on my consumer report violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I am requesting that your company blocks and remove all disputed fraudulent accounts from my consumer report pursuant to [ 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ] ( a ) Block Except as otherwise provided in this section, a consumer reporting agency SHALL block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt. I have not supplied proof under the doctrine of estoppel by silence, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( mo ) XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I XXXX presume that no proof of the alleged debt, nor therefore any such debt, in fact exists. 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( a ) In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( XXXX ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates.
