Consumer Complaint: I called Synchrony bank Mastercard at XXXX. I spoke to XXXX in the fraud department. I advised her that there was an inquiry on my XXXX credit report dated XXXX from Synchrony that I didnt authorize and that I suspect fraud. She asked for my social, address and phone number. She advised that there was an attempt made and that she will report this as an attempt I didnt initiate. She advised that they would contact the credit bureaus but that it may take up to 60 days to resolve. My credit score has been affected and I would like this inquiry deleted as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute a false account that appears on my credit report, which is a result of identity theft. The account is listed under [ SYNCB/PPC ] and is reported on my credit file twice as closed due to inactive use. Upon reviewing my credit report, I have noticed this account, and I assert that I did not open or authorize this account which I communicated with the creditor and they didnt find my name or social under any account associated with them. I have tried numerous of times to resolve this issue and I suspect fraudulent activity. I request a thorough investigation into the origin and accuracy of this account. Please provide the following information : 1. Verification of the debt and documentation proving its legitimacy. 2. Any supporting documents or agreements related to the account. 3. Details of the individual ( s ) responsible for opening this account, if available. I have taken immediate steps to protect my identity, including contacting the creditor and filing a police report. I demand that you correct this error promptly and remove this fraudulent account from my credit report. I request a written response within 30 days from the receipt of this letter, confirming the removal of the disputed account and any related negative marks from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank continues to lower my credit limits on accounts that have no late payments causing my credit score to be negatively impacted. This started with my Amazon credit card almost 5 years ago. They just recently reduced it to only leave {$9.00} available instead of the roughly {$100.00} available credit I had. I had also opened a line of credit through Synchrony Bank at Rooms To Go. I was granted a {$4000.00} line of credit, used about half of that and have already repaid the majority of the balance, never been late on payments there either, but they also reduced that credit limit to {$1100.00} recently - leaving me less than {$200.00} available credit. Each time they lower my credit limit, it appears that my balance is high and the credit is maxed out, which lowers my credit score and they use that as an excuse to continue lowering my limit - an unjust cycle.

She stated that somehow, when they were transferring the data from my old account to my new account the amount had been put back on account as a purchase.

Consumer Complaint: I requested to know why my account was closed and they told me it was because my credit score was a XXXX and my credit wasnt a XXXX it was a XXXX but they closed my account and I couldnt pay it through the app or online. So I called and they sent me a link to pay through phone and the link did not work. So I called again and I was told there was nothing they could do. They then charged me a late fee and marked my account with a missed payment that I know will be marked on my credit history. Even after I payed about half of my account off.
