Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to trade in my XXXX XXXX XXXX and was told there is still a lien showing on my title. I paid the vehicle off on XX/XX/XXXX. The loan was with BBVA/Compass Bank . On XX/XX/XXXX, I called PNC bank customer service and spoke with someone in their auto loan service department because they acquired Compass Bank in XXXX, and I was unable to reach anyone at Compass Bank to provide me with a lien release letter. I asked the PNC representative to help me get a lien release letter. He took my SSN, full name, and was unable to locate anything about me or any record of a loan in the PNC system. He told me I needed to visit a branch location and ask them to research my issue with their title team so they could look for my loan information in their archives. The closest branch is in XXXX, NC - about 8 miles away ( a 30 minute drive for me ), so before I went in person, I called and spoke with someone in their customer service department ( his name was XXXX XXXX. He explained to me that nobody at the branch can help me and that they get erroneous requests like this a lot. He then told me to call customer service again and ask for someone in the auto loan department. I explained I already did this, and he said that this is the only option to get help, and I should just keep calling them until they actually help me. In lieu of calling back and not getting help, I am filing this complaint. It seems that someone at Compass Bank failed to release my lien when my car was paid off, and since they have been acquired, it seems that PNC is unwilling to help me get this processed so I can trade in my vehicle for a new one. Can someone please help me get this lien release letter?

Consumer Complaint: PNC Bank purchased my XXXX effective of XX/XX/2023. They took over the loan and blocked payments to the previous servicer XXXX XXXX XXXX, but then blocked registration to their online accounts for new customers like myself whose mortgages they had purchased. I was told that I would have access on XXXX and was told that this would be fine because it was within their grace period by a couple days, but when I tried registering I was still locked out and they were not willing to help me, instead directing me to do diagnostic testing for their website across multiple browsers in order to figure out their error. Since I have an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I don't have hours of free time to provide free technical support to a major bank, so I was unable to register online and was forced to go into a branch to pay my account. Today I tried registering again and was unable to and still can't pay my account online.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a formal complaint against PNC Bank, N.A. and debit card administrator, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, concerning their egregious mishandling of a debit card fraud incident that occurred on XX/XX/2023. Despite my immediate notification of the lost or stolen debit card within 12 hours, the unauthorized cash withdrawal transactions totaling {$6700.00} have not been refunded, and my requests for resolution have been consistently ignored by the issuer. During the prescribed 10-day investigation period, as outlined in the Debit Card Agreement ( attached ) and pursuant to Regulation E of the Electronic Fund Transfer Act ( EFTA ) , I made efforts to communicate with the issuer regarding provision credits and the status of the investigation. Shockingly, I was informed by a representative that, due to the card administrator not being a bank, they were allegedly not obligated to provide customers with the same level of fraud remediation as a bank. Furthermore, I was advised that no additional information could be provided until a letter was sent through physical mail after the completion of the 10-day investigation. Approximately two hours before the conclusion of the investigation period on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from a case investigator, identified as " XXXX. '' The investigator was combative and adversarial, stating that a text message confirmation for the transactions was sent the phone number associated with the account. I stated that phone was also lost or stolen, specifically citing that it was replaced at XXXX XXXX. central time on the day of the fraud. The investigator did not request that I provide any additional evidence, nor did she provide me with an explanation for a pending denial of my claim. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a written denial ( attached ) from the issuer without any accompanying explanation. Subsequent attempts to contact the case investigator proved futile, prompting me to compile a detailed memorandum containing facts, surveillance evidence, and invoices that indisputably place me in a different city during the unauthorized transactions. This memorandum ( attached ) was promptly submitted via fax. Confirmation of receipt of the fax was received on XX/XX/XXXX in an email ( attached ) from the case investigatoXXXX. However, this communication contained a misrepresentation of my responses during the phone inquiry and false accusations of my failure to communicate the loss of my phone. Despite my repeated requests for evidence or documentation used to deny my fraud claim, the investigator has failed to respond and has not provided the requested documents. Further, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX have arranged with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and PNC Bank, N.A. for the issuance of the XXXX XXXX XXXX to customers of XXXX XXXX. The convoluted communication channels involving XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and ultimately PNC Bank, N.A. have further complicated issue resolution. A XXXX XXXX fraud representative has advised me to proceed with a regulatory complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX division due to these ongoing challenges. Consumer Complaint: I just became a customer of PNC bank it's been 2 months and already having to deal with fradualant transaction appearing on my account. On XX/XX/23 I placed a curb side food order delivery to my house with XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX which was deducted from my account, then on XX/XX/23 my account had a deduction in the amount of XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA. I then called Customer service at XXXX XXXX the informed me there was no store at that location XXXX XXXX XXXX PA. I then called PNC customer service and asked them how could a fradualant transaction go thru on my account when I had my card locked and secured, she lied and told me my card must have been unlocked for the charge to go through but I know it was locked. Now I have another fradualant charge that appeared on my account that's pending made on XXXX ) XX/XX/23 in the amount of XXXX from the so called Fictitious XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA.I will dispute this charge as soon as it clears.

Consumer Complaint: I signed up for a one time credit report on XX/XX/2023 for XXXX dollar..and cancelled it a few days after because i had the option to cancel after 7 days so i would not be charged every month for {$29.00}. Well low and behold they charged my c ard for {$2900.00}. I called PNC Bank -- the issuer of the card and filed a dispute as soon as i saw my statement on XXXX XXXX 2023. This credit monitoring business is a scam. As soon as i saw the charge on my PNC bank card I immediately called and filed a dispute. I get a letter from XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/2023 on behalf of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I have no idea who XXXX XXXX is but they denied my dispute, The card says PNC bank on it. XXXX XXXX is allowing these scam outfits to make false charges. I dont know who XXXX XXXX is or XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX My card that was charged was issued by PNC Bank visa.. I cancelled my card and was reissued another one.

Under 15 USC 1681b - the permissible purpose of consumer reports, THE LAW CLEARLY STATES : ( b ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Did I give you written instructions to furnish this on my credit report? Furthermore, the FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT 15 USC 1681 ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) Exclusions from a consumer credit report clearly states : ( 2 ) EXCLUSIONS.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) Subject to section 1681s-3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; Delete ALL late payments from my consumer report, this agency is in violation of 15 USC 1681. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 a PNC representative called informing me of fraudulent charges totaling {$1400.00} on my PNC paysource card. He said it had been deactivated and would send a new card. I sent the dispute form with the charges listed. I received a notice stating they found no errors and that I had voluntarily authorized payment. I called to dispute this decision and was told that they had no record of my previous dispute. She said she would send another form to me and I should be timely with returning it. I never received it, but did receive another notice stating that there were no errors. I called back and a representative was able to verify the disputed charges, but couldn't tell me how to proceed. I asked to speak to her supervisor. This employee told me to send in a signed letter with the case number and last four digits of the card. She also gave me names and numbers of the businesses, and suggested that I call to get my money reimbursed by them. I faxed a letter to the number provided by the supervisor emphatically denying authorizing the charges and have a confirmation that it was received. I've heard no response in three weeks.
