Consumer Complaint: Background : I have maintained a credit card account with PNC Bank for several years, and I have diligently set up the auto-pay feature provided by the card issuer to pay the minimum amount due on the account each month. My understanding was that by selecting this option, I would be complying with the terms of the agreement to pay the minimum amount due on the date specified by PNC Bank. Issue : Despite consistently utilizing the auto-pay feature to pay the minimum amount due, I have been assessed late fees by PNC Bank for XXXX past months. This practice is both unfair and unacceptable, as it contradicts the clear intention of the auto-pay feature, which is to ensure timely payments of at least the minimum amount due. I believe that PNC Bank 's actions are in violation of the terms and conditions of our agreement. Additionally, on XX/XX/2023, I had a conversation with XXXX from the escalations department of North Carolina. During this conversation, XXXX stated that when a consumer makes any payment on the account, even for as little as XXXX dollar, it would void the auto-pay. In essence, this turns the auto-pay setup void and punishes the consumer for making any payment on the account. This information further highlights the inconsistency in PNC Bank 's practices. Request for XXXX : I hereby request the following actions to be taken : A refund of all late fees that have been charged to my account in the past months due to this issue. An immediate cessation of the practice of assessing late fees when customers have set up auto-pay to pay the minimum amount due on the account. An investigation into this issue to identify other affected customers and provide them with the necessary remedies. XXXX communication to all PNC Bank credit card holders regarding the correct implementation of the auto-pay feature to avoid similar issues in the future. This issue affects not only me but potentially thousands of customers who XXXX be unknowingly incurring late fees despite their efforts to make on-time payments. I believe that by addressing this matter, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can help protect the rights and interests of consumers who rely on auto-pay features to manage their credit card accounts responsibly. I have attached supporting documentation, including copies of recent billing statements and proof of auto-pay setup, to assist in your investigation. Consumer Complaint: I wend to PNC Bank In XXXX KY on XX/XX/2022 to deposit checks in the total amount of {$5000.00} including {$4000.00} check from XXXX XXXX and two money orders of {$500.00} from XXXX XXXX. They did take the money orders as deposit that day with receipt in hand and it shows on my banking app few days later the full deposit of {$5000.00} the a day later only showing {$4000.00} reducing the amount of deposit by {$1000.00} of the two money orders. the bank never informed me about the incident by phone, mail or email. I went back to the bank a week later to understand what happened for the teller to inform me the money orders were not valid and they are gone without return. I informed the teller and the bank manager these were money orders with cash values not something they can just discard. they truly did not care sending me out with out a solution telling my they have the right not to give me any checks or money order back if they were rejected by there system. I contacted the head office for PNC to open an investigation, I was told to contact the bank manager to escalate the issue for investigation to my surprise the bank manager was not welling to meet, help or investigate then I contacted a Law office to push the bank for action then I started getting empty calls of any resolution from escalations teat members of PNC bank. I need your help to investigate this issue further to understand how can I get my money back by PNC bank or by getting my money order back to return to XXXX XXXX and get a replacement. As you all know these money orders are my money frozen in those checks tell i get them replaced.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX bag from a seller on a sell/buy app called XXXX for {$1300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. The bag that I received from the seller was in a very used condition compared to the new condition the seller listed it as. The seller said there was no damage to the bag at all, but the bag that I received had visible signs of usage. I filed a return with the selling app XXXX and explained everything in my case, and I uploaded photos of the bag 's condition as well. The representative from XXXX that got back to my case initiated the return, told me to print the shipping label and drop the return off at the post office at my earliest convenience. After the package was received by the seller, I would be refunded within 24 hours, according to the agent. I did everything as told, I dropped it off at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I have the return package 's tracking number and tracking receipt. The package was delivered back to the seller on XX/XX/XXXX and the XXXX carrier uploaded a photo for proof of delivery. The seller received the return and I waiting for days for XXXX to refund me. However, XXXX never refunded me, they ended up closing my account with no explanation why, completely wiped everything so I could not refer back to anything, and left it at that. They claimed they would refund me within 24 hours after the return was delivered to the seller, just for them to end up completely erasing everything. I then proceeded to dispute the charge with my bank, PNC. I emailed them screenshots of all the proof for them to investigate this dispute, from the conversation I had with XXXX 's representative for my case, to the XXXX return tracking number and receipt, to the XXXX carrier 's photo proof of delivery of the return to the seller. Over a month went by and I did not hear anything from PNC regarding the investigation. Nothing in the mail, nothing in my email, nothing through phone. Then today, XX/XX/XXXX I see that my PNC checking and savings account has been closed by PNC. I am extremely confused because I use PNC regularly for everyday purchases, I did not violate anything in their user agreement so I called them immediately, the representative only kept telling me that they reserve the right to end business with consumers whenever they want, I asked for a supervisor and she told me the same thing. They both just kept telling me to wait for whatever shows up in the mail. They told me my disputes were denied and a letter will be in the mail eventually. I have a few other disputes with PNC regarding some things I ordered online and did not receive but those are small things compared to my main dispute. These claims were also denied despite my most recent one in XXXX was not even investigated because they never asked me for any proof to help them investigate. I feel very wronged as a PNC consumer and the people that I have spoken to so far at PNC clearly do not care about how they treat their consumers. I have more than enough evidence for PNC to see that I was a victim to whatever scam XXXX merchant did, and I am seriously doubting they even conducted a proper investigation, much less ever even started one.

Consumer Complaint: My account balances change despite not making purchases. I continue to need to transfer money into account, when I shouldn't need to due to balances decreasing after I have made sure all bills/purchases have been deducted. Most recent example, I left {$500.00} in my account for the week, I did not have any pending debits. I did not make any purchases. 3 days later, my account balance was down {$450.00} dollars. I then received and email from my XXXX account about a XXXX purchsed form coin base. I have not purchased any XXXX, I have not used a XXXX account in over 15 years. I contacted PNC to report. was unable to get anywhere with them on the phone, was told by the representative I should go into a branch. I have called PNC several times in the past few months due to account balances. Problems accessing my account, passwords and questions being changed, the account balances changing without making purchases, with all pending actions already accounted for. This appears to be a sophisticated level fraud, web ring type of transactions.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I made a contribution to my XXXX account. This contribution was initiated from my XXXX checking account for the amount of {$220.00}. The money left my XXXX checking account via transfer. The transfer confirmation number is XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX, the money is still not in my XXXX account, is withdrawn from my XXXX checking account, and is missing. On XX/XX/XXXX, an XXXX representative stated there were no pending incoming transactions from my XXXX checking account. She stated she would do some research and " try '' to call me back by the end of business that day. No call was received. She insinuated no transfer was made, or that I had made an error. That same day XXXX opened a non merchant deposit dispute case to investigate the current status of these funds. They confirmed the XXXX account number and confirmed that the transfer had been completed. The case ID is XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I faxed a letter to XXXX and to XXXX detailing the events. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX confirmed receipt of the fax. That same day I called XXXX again. " XXXX '' stated she would reach out to PNC bank and call me back in XXXX business hours. No call was received. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called XXXX a third time. " XXXX '' stated XXXX hadn't heard back from PNC and didn't know when she would hear back because it was a " busy season ''. I asked XXXX to check to see if my fax had been added to my file. She placed me on an extended hold, came back, and said she'd look later and follow up via email. XXXX representatives have confirmed the transfer was debited from my account on XX/XX/XXXX and transferred to the correct XXXX account. XXXX has not received my money and has not shown a sense of concern or urgency in resolving this matter. Your assistance is also requested in resolving this matter.
