Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2020 I called the PNC call center for assistance. Due to COVID-19 my flights from XXXX XXXX to XXXX were canceled. I contacted XXXX XXXX to apply for a refund since they cancelled the flights. They said they could but had to process the refund to my original form of payment. The debit card I used that is tied to my PNC Checking account wasnt active because I had closed it due to suspicious transactions. I contacted the PNC call center just to ask if they could put my old debit card on a status to block debits but to allow credits just so I could get this refund. The person on the phone told me they couldnt but that they could dispute the transaction since I didnt receive the service from XXXX XXXX. Believing she knew the right thing, I followed her lead and she told me that I would be credited the money back shortly. Now, she did read a statement about provisional credit but made it seem like it was just something she had to read. I received a letter in the mail that said I had to sign it in order to process the credit that the PNC employee told me Id get. I signed it and sent it back. Within a few days, I received my credit. Yesterday I was stunned to see that my account was negative {$1400.00}. I couldnt figure out why until I put 2 and 2 together. I travel for work so I received no notification that this money was being reversed and had happily continued spending as such. I dont even know if the bank sent any notification as I wont be able to check my mail until the weekend. I contacted XXXX XXXX and now they are just flat out refusing to issue me a refund, my account is negative with PNC during a pandemic and on top of it, PNC is charging OD fees of {$36.00} each for transactions that had been approved and were pending before they reversed my credit. I am sure that Im the days to come I will receive even more OD fees which will put me even more in the hole and unable to pull myself out.

Consumer Complaint: PNC does not allow " linking '' of our accounts with accounts that reside at other financial institutions, such as money transfer services such as XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. PNC 's policy is harmful to consumers and an unfair business practice, given that every other large regional/national bank allows account linking. PNC has denied me access to over {$130000.00} because of their unfair and self-serving account linking transfer restrictions.

Consumer Complaint: I only been with pnc bank for a little over month. And in that month they have susppend my debit card 3 times without giving any warning nor explaintion s to why. I just will up one day tried to use it and it came back wrong information I called almost everyday and everyone would tell me so many different things out put my in hold for 30 min to 11/2 hrs. Finally after going back and forth and staying on the phone I was told who to call to find out about the whole. I finally talked to MsXXXX XXXX she's the antiluis for pnc. She verified my info and told pnc to left hold all hold were lifted. I went on starting paying money to online service a couple times I used it at atm. To get cash for money orders and things. Well 3 days later it was cut off again but this time they say they closed my card completely. I still don't know why they did it nothing changed I shop mostly online I pretty much do everything online because I don't leave house. Me I don't really see where they had any reason to do this. Now I'm having problem getting them to link my other account.
