Consumer Complaint: After filing the complaint with CFPB on paypal they limited my account and a warning pops up saying I can no longer use Paypal. No email no letter nothing ' happened at all. Then I left 3 messages thru the my paypal and no response and so I called waited a hour on the phone and the same lady that answered just days before that would not help me hookup my debit card to my account and would not let me talk with a manager for over 10 minutes of me asking for a manager and her saying they can do nothing finally she got a manager and I told him about he and how rude she was for no reason and he helped me hooked up the card and said he would talk with her. Well it was only 3 days later my account was limited and nonusable no email no nothing so when I called the second time she put me on hold and never came back and never got another dept she said I needed to talk with. She is being nasty for no reason other than she was rude to me and now needs to be talked with again. This is harassment 's and I still cant collect my refund/

Consumer Complaint: Paypal has closed my account for no reason and will not help me to get it up and running. They asked me to provide proof of all my information. I provided them with the information on the XX/XX/2021. They responded on the XX/XX/2021, saying that they have decided to close my account. I even went ahead to tell them that I was working online and paypal is the only mode of payment allowed by my employer and they still decided to close it with my money in it, for absolutely no reason. Am not sure whether it is a mistake but I haven't received any help from them so I felt I should just file my report here as I feel they are not doing their job properly and its really affecting me a great deal as I use paypal frequently. Consumer Complaint: I am complaining a recent trend in foreign currency transactions to trick consumers into paying unfavorable exchange rates. Paypal is just an egregious example of what seems to be a common but recent practice. As a frequent foreign traveler/consumer I hadn't seen this phenomenon until recently. In terms of this particular example, on XX/XX/2021, Paypal used a misleading user interface to try to profit from an unfavorable exchange rate on a foreign currency transaction. When paying a charge of XXXX XXXX pounds, Paypal showed my wife and I a screen with the amount {$29.00} ( rate of XXXX dollars per pound and the button highlighted to proceed with the transaction. Somewhat buried in the screen was the option to " Change '' to have the currency conversion processed by my credit card company, which until recently was always the default. I am somewhat obsessive about these things, so I know that's a bad rate, but I suspect many consumers do not know they would get a better deal letting their credit card company handle the transaction. In any case, the charge came through on our XXXX Mastercard as {$27.00} ( rate of XXXX per pound ), which is more than a XX/XX/XXXX difference. I have seen similar practices with other vendors and ATMS, some of which may be outside CFPB 's jurisdiction, but some probably are, including Paypal. My wife thinks she has occasionally fallen for it as well. Please consider regulating this consumer-unfriendly practice. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: paypal just scammed me.Let me say that paypal are XXXX of epic proportions.They have a seller protection policy which is a fraud and a lie it is A BOLD FACED LIE PERIOD.This paypal company has many reviews about their " service '' on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX etc like over 50,000 reviews and 99.9 % of these reviews are all negative .How on earth has this company not been shut down? They ruin lives is what they do.For XXXX Buyer purchased something from me and i sent her exactly what she ordered.Buyer then claimed i sent her less then what she ordered and filed a dispute for a full refund.I had full XXXX verified delivery confirmation with photos showing we sent her exactly what she ordered.She claimed we sent her 1 bottle of this childrens nutritional vitamin syrup when she ordered 6 bottles.Not only did we sent photos of the 6 bottles with the XXXX tracking number but we also got a invoice from XXXX showing the quantity which we sent was 6.The shipment weight also proves this.There is no doubt we have proven the buyer is a XXXX.These XXXX paypal are asking her ( the buyer ) to return the 1 bottle and then she will get a full refund.Problem is we didnt send her 1 bottle we sent her 6 bottles and even if we get the 1 bottle back in damaged or broken condition ( broken in transit ) the buyer will still get a full refund.We XXXX sent her 6 bottles paypal you XXXX.When we proved the buyer is a XXXX as in there is absolutely no doubt, paypal is still giving the buyer a chance to commit fraud.This is against their own seller protection policy.I demand my money back paypal you are clearly misleading people to use your services promising seller protection when there infact is none.you know it i know it and the whole world knows it look at this XXXX companies reviews all over the internet for XXXX XXXX.I have been scammed by this paypal XXXX company make no mistake about that no matter what they say i have been scammed by them and they are bold faced XXXX

According to them I am not complying with the documents to submit for my proof of identity. But the truth is I've been doing and trying to upload it on the system since the time I received an email from them regarding compliance. I told them that there has been an error message whenever I tried to upload my document. I've been trying to tell them that there is an error message and been asking to get help from them. They just keep on giving me instruction on how to upload the file. It is very easy to follow but the thing is there is the error message that they should look into my account. Consumer Complaint: Hello there, My name is XXXX and I belong to a lower middle class family whose duty is to take care of a family of 5 being the only earning member. I sell on XXXX for my living. Few days back 2 reserves were placed on my account holding more than XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had my own obligations to pay the vendors, pay XXXX invoices, family expenses. So, I requested multiple times to release the funds so that I might be able to fulfil the obligations. Yesterday I was even confirmed by PayPal that one of the reserves have been released and will be transferred. But now my account has been permanently limited and neither the funds have been released. They say that I have violated policies by selling restricted products. You may check my account. I sell the products what other millions are selling too and if there was anything restricted, XXXX already would have removed that listing. Please show mercy on me and remove the limitation as it's not just a PayPal account for me but my entire one year 's effort & time. PayPal has left me in a situation where I am not able to think of anything other than committing suicide. Please, for XXXX sake, activate my account and release the funds.
