Consumer Complaint: PayPal closed my account for no reason and will not help me with getting it back up and going. I am not sure if this is some mistake as I assume it has to be. I have not been able to get help from them for months but I just remembered I could file a report on here as I feel they are not doing their job properly and it is effecting me a great deal as I used PayPal quite frequently. Consumer Complaint: I received and email that my PayPal account was charged XXXX Euros which is approximately equivalent to {$3000.00} XXXX on Saturday XX/XX/2021. I Contacted PayPal customer service immediately and disputed the charges, which at that point they said they will investigate and let me know. Few days later I got a notice that the case is closed in favor of the seller. I've reopped the case several times and spoke with several supervisor, PayPal keep saying this is a legit charge and there is nothing that can be done.

Issue: Unauthorized transactions or other transaction problem

Consumer Complaint: I have {$170.00} in my Venmo account ( service owned by PayPal ) since XXXX, but Venmo is preventing me to use my own money. I can't transfer the balance to my bank account, neither to other Venmo users. I already asked for help with Venmo support, but emails took days to get answers and no solution was provided, only walkarounds that don't solve. Support asked me to register my bank in XXXX, I have tried both options without success. In the " Instant Verification '' option, my bank ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) isn't in their database, so the system doesn't allow me to finish the setup to make the transfer. In the " Manual Verification '' option, after input all data, Venmo doesn't go ahead to finish the process. It's kinda bug because my husband has the same bank registered in his Venmo. I also have tried to transfer the balance to my husband 's Venmo account, but the XXXX always asks to register my bank account prior to allowing me to transfer, even with the balance available.

Consumer Complaint: Yes I had a Paypal account never really used it much but I filed for unemployment back in XX/XX/2020 I was approved for unemployment and back pay the only account I had at the time was Paypal no sooner then my unemployment deposited into my PayPal they permanently limited my account without notifying me I thought with them for probably a week and it was all over an address my address is different on my PayPal than it was on my unemployment I sent in all documentation that they ask for plus more also had my unemployment office on three-way verifying who it was where the money was coming from and who was going to they still kept my account on permanent limitation said it would be 180 days or less when I would be able to transfer my funds I am now past my 180 days they will not answer any questions it won't tell me anything you are not XXXX let me transfer my money or send me a check or anything I have been fighting so I can't fight no more there's almost {$19000.00} sent in my account and I've lost vehicles and everything over all this mess and I have nowhere else to turn I was told about y'all so I'm contacting y'all to see if y'all would be able to direct me in the right direction

Consumer Complaint: I do have problem with Paypal. They locked my paypal account holding {$60.00} XXXX + on XXXX. XXXX Mail from XX/XX/2021 : We're initiating closure of your PayPal account After a thorough review of your account, we're initiating the closure of your PayPal account in order to protect us from potential financial losses. You'll no longer be able to use PayPal account. What happens to your account balance? If you have funds in your PayPal balance, we'll hold it for up to 180 days. We'll do a periodic review of your account for funds release. A gradual approach to account closure allows us to part ways, while considering any liabilities that may arise. ___________________________________ I have call them multiple times on XXXX, as soon as my account got locked. They said I broke some user agreements ( I have been on paypal for 10 years and been doing my very own business since 1 year ). When I asked which one, I never got an answer ( by phone or by email ). Then I called them back again multiple times on XXXX. Each time, the person from the client services of Paypal assure me that I will get my money back in 180 days. And so, I waited 180 days gently. No news from paypal since then. Then, 1 week before the 180 days lockdown run out, I checked my Paypal account as saw everything was gone. I didnt received no email / mail / phone call or notification what so ever about this. They just grabbed it, without saying anything. I called them a 2 days ago, they said they had no information to provide me right now on phone, but they will get back to me by email under a few hours about the details. Been 2 days Im waiting for it and I know I will never get it What they seized, without any notification nor proof : - XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) - XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) - XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) No news from paypal since then ... I was using paypal as way of payment for my business i run on XXXX. I live in XXXX
