Consumer Complaint: My complaint is with PAYPAL. Ive used PayPal for quite some time. So last year ( XXXX ) I filed my taxes for the year XXXX. I used the routing and account number on my PayPal for direct deposit. On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the IRS direct deposited my tax refund into the routing and account number issued to me by PayPal. So the XXXX comes and goes and then the XXXX and so on and so on. I spent HOURS on the phone day after day for aver a week. PayPal tells me they dont see the deposit. After I called several times a day for days I conyact the IRS. They verify the routing and account number and they are correct but the lady says this is a XXXX XXXX account number you gave me. I tell her I do not have a XXXX XXXX account. So she gives me the number to XXXX XXXX and I call XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX tells me that the money is there. XXXX XXXX give me a transaction ID in a trace number for XXXX XXXX to give to PayPal so they can locate the money. I call PayPal back PayPal says XXXX XXXX is not allowed to give me that information I said well they did they said they can't verify the money 's there I said they did two managers XXXX anybody activity at the highest chain and they said because they had already done three traces and didn't find the money that was all they could do. I said no the money was put in the routing and account number that you guys are assigned to me and I would like my money. Went out PayPal has revoked my account I can't even contact customer service I can't get in my PayPal account they have changed my account number to my PayPal and I still have not got no money. The refund amount is {$1100.00} just sitting there that I have no way to retrieve. I called the IRS bag they said that they did their own Trace but by law they have to give them 90 days to respond that was as of XX/XX/XXXX. So I call XXXX XXXX bank and ask XXXX XXXX can I just go to a XXXX XXXX and get my money out and they said no because this account is owned by PayPal. So now I'm stuck with no ways to get my last year 's income tax and I'm I'm frusterated and I don't know what to do.

Consumer Complaint: I received a notice from PayPal that a purchase from XXXX had been made from my PayPal account on XX/XX/XXXX, but I thought it was spam. Then I noticed a withdrawal of {$530.00} from my XXXX XXXX account. I reported and disputed this with my bank and they put a stop payment on the charges. Then on XX/XX/XXXX my bank declined the electronic funds transfer. Then the PayPal collections called me to collect this debt, however, it wasn't me in the first place. Then I filed an online dispute with PayPal claiming that this was fraud. However, they declined it. I then called XXXX asking if they could do anything and they directed me back to PayPal. However, I found out that there was someone using a fake email address, but my same shipping address as mine. I called PayPal disputing the debt, this time saying it was identity theft. They declined it again saying it matched with my past purchase history. I tried disputing it a third time saying that I never got the item because I got a notification saying that it had arrived at my address. The shipping company had given a tracking number and proof of delivery, so it got declined. I filed a dispute with the FTC. I then filled a police report on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent both to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( PayPal 's collections ) on XX/XX/XXXX. With the assistance of XXXX XXXX, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to see the status of the my case, they declined it saying to call PayPal again.

Consumer Complaint: I was involved with a money prize winning sweepstakes and was asked to pay a fee {$50.00} for XXXX then a {$50.00} for lawyer then a couple more times for lawyer and then he tried more and when I couldnt on my PayPal he asked for my XXXX and wanted to put me on payroll for extra money and then asked for another {$200.00} in XXXX and then asked me for another {$500.00} in XXXX and I tried to get a refund from XXXX but they couldnt because it was final and I even tried getting refunded for everything on PayPal but they only did the last one not the others I got in touch with my credit card company and waiting to hear back on them and I sent a message to my bank to see if I can get the money back from XXXX
