Consumer Complaint: Money was removed ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX, from my bank account and sent to a merchant I no longer was doing business with and I discontinued recurring charges to my account from ALL the merchants I did business with through PayPal. The transaction was done through PayPal who refuses to take responsibility and blames the error on the merchant claiming it was basically business as usual. I filed a complaint on PayPal 's website and only got a lame bot response that nothing was wrong with the transaction ( despite the fact I talked to numerous customer service agents and indicated I did NOT authorize the transaction ). I submitted screenshot of the transaction as well as emailed correspondence to the merchant openly admitting that we no longer have a business relationship and despite that evidence, PayPal 's bot decided against me not to refund my money. One customer service rep admitted that merchants routinely take advantage of the loophole that allows them to reinstate recurring payments, without the customers knowledge, basically using PayPal to ROB consumers and leaves the entire process of getting the matter resolved up to the victim.

Consumer Complaint: hello. I have a problem with Venmo, I have used it for several months, and suddenly they frozen my account, when I contact them they ask me to send my ID to unlock the account, I sent it and still they told me that they blocked it and that they reserve to say for what reason it was. I have already sent several emails and Venmo 's response is totally negative, and they will hold my money for 180 days. It is something totally unfair and without explanation. Several people have already had this happen with the Venmo service. The money is a total of XXXX. I was just synchronizing my Venmo account with my Physical bank and they blocked it. I don't see any violation in that.

Consumer Complaint: Paypal support is completely unresponsive. They have an irrelevant robot speaking but nothing gets done. They seem to be permanently closed- no one to speak to. They have my money but they are not sending it to me. They have stolen it. I've tried to verify my details online- I can't. I've tried to close my account- they've responded it can't be closed. They are completely evil and unresponsive. And they have my money. They should be shut down as they are completely incompetent and unresponsive.

Then on XXXX XXXX i had {$290.00} removed from my account both times by the same person. Both times the card was locked. I filed a dispute on both of them with Pay/Pal. They said I authotized it. I don't know this person never met or heard of them. Don't how they got my money other than Pay/Pal giving it to them.
